Warnings: This log is yellow-taped with all kinds of potential warnings. If your filthy imagination can conjure it, this log can produce it.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's how this works. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. Feel like drawing graffiti on Professor Jin's door? Apologizing for the aftermath of the latest cupidbot fiasco? Doing each others' hair and talking about boys? Giving your trusted(?!?) friends a free ride in the dryer? He can be found elsewhere, too. Patrolling the halls before and after class, the cafeteria at appropriate mealtimes, the student kitchen at less standard mealtimes (he burns off a lot of energy, okay), appreciating sunlight and fresh air out in the great outdoors, whatever.

From 6:30-8:00 PM there is a sign on the doorknob without fail that reads: DO NOT DISTURB. Wonder what that's about... Shocking Plot Twist: It's study time. EXCITING.

Eirika's first visit to the common rooms was a memorable one. Well, memorable in the event of finding yet another younger child at the academy. She'd seen a few, idly wondered just what the age restriction on tutelage, or if there was one. But she'd not asked about it either, not entirely comfortable with exposing her sheltered lifestyle so easily.

After all, where she came from, most commoners didn't have that sort of knowledge.

What she did like doing, however, was watching Mary draw. It was endearing, if she was going to put a label on it. Never mind that Eirika herself was probably coming off as a bit of a... creeper, at the very least.

Voile - BW-03 (with Cammy)

[Voile's not made it a priority to spend a lot of time out of her room, but she's not holed up in it any longer.

She likes quiet places, however. So when she's not in her room, she can be found (in either form) in the botanical gardens, the greenhouse, and the meadow clearing by the mountain trail. Wherever she may be, a book or a writing pad for poetry is following closely behind.]

Sometimes she'll be lurking around the library or greenhouse (secretly trying to water the plants). Basically, you'll find her in secluded areas where she may or may not be able to people-watch.]

[He's not been too public with anyone since being beat up by Eli. To be fair, the romantic 'outing' with Falcon has made him a little more wary about where he goes. Basically the concept is now to believe nothing should be trusted by default. It'll be required that his PSOCOM accompany him everywhere.

Snake's mostly in his room. But when he's not, he's not difficult to find in the vents, making his way from Point A to Point B. He also has a fondness for the bar in the town. And the ladies might find him in their locker room...]

[Mukuro, being a good soldier had taken the opportunity to explore the airvents. They were surprisingly spacious for a school. Sooner or later, these two soldiers would meet in an air vent face to face and there wouldn't be room for either of them to pass...]

Soryk - The Forest Fortress

[The man's a bit too primitive to really live in a home. He's not always been one of the land, however. Upon his arrival to the academy, he crafted for himself a fort in the forest, the very same that had been filled with horrors around Halloween. Nowadays, his fort has become a little more impressive, furniture and outside shelter completely hand-made.

Soryk really is more suited for living off the natural grounds.

He spends a good amount of his time outside, searching for the closest body of water to fish. Often he picks plants for poison research. (One would find a lot of poisons in his abode.) Sometimes he's in his classroom. In other times, you might come upon him eavesdropping.]

[Sheik had noticed the arrival of the fort all that time ago, but hadn't really given much thought to its lone resident until her more princess-like counterpart had struck up those conversations.

It wasn't that Sheik was actively seeking out Soryk, of course, only that in her nighttime patrols of the campus, she sometimes passed his strange, primitive-looking dwelling.

As she deftly made her way from tree to tree (perhaps a little less silently than she should have), it didn't even occur to Sheik that the occupant might be home.]

Nableroo - TD-11

[She doesn't spend much time in her room, admittedly, and for no particular reason, at that. A lot of her time is spent in her classroom, fixing up curriculum and dancing. She practises with her blades outside, and the archery range is one of her favourite places to be.

In short, she may not be as easy to find as some, but she's certainly around, and hard to miss, at that.]

[The mute man has taken to scouting the grounds of the academy and the town. He's still given excessive thought to Charlise's murder, and feels his hands are tied due to the amount of distrust he has [rightfully] acquired. Still he presses on.

Observant and attentive, Caim has made himself available almost anywhere imaginable. In more secret locales, such as behind the academy, he sketches as he sits in the clearing. But lately he's taken to visiting FDC's weapon shop, perhaps in search of a new toy... And it seems wherever he may go he's accompanied by at least two yellow pikmin.]

Max picked up a box full of anvils and beat Caim over the head with them.

"Oh, my face," said Caim as he went soaring through the air as Max kicked him out of the forge with his steel-toed boot.

Riwane - BW-04

It was kind of hard to not know by now which was Riwane's room. If her roommate was out, there was generally always loud party music blasting from her room which during the day had the door slightly open in case people wanted to come by while she was around.

You'd usually find her dancing, doing homework, or working out to the beats that she so loved.

Ellistree - BW-14

Ellistree didn't frequent her room since she loved exploring and being out in nature and such. However, when she was around, she enjoyed the comfort and the welcoming feeling of having so many others around her in other rooms.

Most of the time she's in her room you'll find her browsing the net for random and sometimes useless bits of information since such a grand library of info would be a waste not to exploit!

Sitting with a desk full of snacks in an oversized shirt and underwear while watching online videos and browsing wikis and image boards. Yep, that was her passion while in her room!

Samus - Office, Classroom, general around

Samus is typically a very elusive lady and doesn't live on campus, but she can be found in either of the following places:

A) Her office is a sort of secondary workshop more than an actual office. Sure, there's a desk and two chairs facing said desk where prospective visitors might sit, but it'll be readily apparent Samus treats this more as private working space. (For however "private" you can get in Smash Academy.) Her desk is strewn with spare mechanical parts, tools, blue prints, and things that look like leftovers of her biomechanical engineering class. Quite frankly, that's mostly what they are. Samus is usually very engrossed in whatever she's doing, sometimes enough that she might forget to lock the door or close it entirely.

B) Samus usually prefers the semi-privacy of her office, but sometimes she can be found here in her classroom, room 214, grading papers or checking her classroom desk for something she might have forgotten.

C) When she's in either of those two places on campus, she can probably be found prowling through the hallways--checking her mailbox, peeking in the faculty lounge, or just briskly going from point A to point B. (It is alas, still much too cold to be working on her bike in the parking lot.) Idle talk and chit-chat really isn't her forte, so whatever you might have to say make it quick, and make sure it's important.

D) If she's not on campus, she might actually be in FDC! Curiosity is a bad habit of hers; maybe she's playing detective in all the drug-related incidents, saving someone from a drug-related hate crime, caught in a sticky situation herself, or simply food/provision shopping without incident. Most likely, she's hitting up one of the local bars for a good drink.

Hear that rude and atrocious sound coming from down one of the hallways, Samus? It's from one of the cleaning cupboards. It's locked, but it appears someone didn't know about that as they go making a racket from the inside. The banging is frantic at times, but also weak and tired. There are times of silences too, but when not...

Innes - BE01, anywhere (specify)

Innes was still learning his way around the place. It wasn't too particularly difficult but it wasn't exactly intuitive either.

A - dorm: Innes hadn't quite settled into the living space yet. he could handle living in small quarters (read tent when living on the field) but with another person? Granted he hadn't yet met this person, but the potential presence bothered him.

His door was very much not open as he bothered himself with understanding this computer.

B - elsewhere: Innes can be found in the cafeteria or out on the field practicing archery. He undoubtedly wanders the hallways, lost.

Manah - Guidance Counselor's Office

Manah was most often found in her office. The door was always open and she was usually found behind her desk, probably playing solitaire on the computer. Currently the office is not decorated.

Maisy had been here once before as a Mareep, but the visit had gone much of anywhere. It was to be expected though, communication being hard in such a situation. But now though, with her ability to go human, she had all the better luck speaking to all the humans and other kinds!

Manah's office hadn't been a place she rushed off to for a visit, but when she remembered its existence, some time after Valentine's, she decided to see the person again. The name plate was now closer for her to read - Manah. Yeah, this was the room! The open door with the woman inside indicated that she was there as well.

Maisy didn't hang around the doorway for long though before taking some steps in, watching Manah curiously before perking up and speaking, "Heelllo."

Garry : Dorm, Office/Studio, Classroom, Everywhere

Garry had been massively in a bad way. Mary...Ai...All of this mess around the school. Garry was at a loss of what to do. But he tried to keep himself busy in the meantime. In the meantime, keywords.

So he is either painting in his studio (but noticeably not making much these days), in his classroom, or in his dorm.

Or maybe. Just maybe. Encounters in the hallways?

Basically everywhere.

ART REWM

It had been his usual routine to visit the art room outside of class at least a few times a week. Though admittedly, with everything considered, he hadn't had as much time as he would have liked, spending time studying or poring over the latest computer books he ordered.

But today, he was going to do it. He was going to go there and there was nothing that was going to stop him.

With a sigh, he poked his head in the room. There he was, just as expected: Garry was painting at his canvas...

...a mostly-blank canvas. Strange.

"Hi."

Might as well announce himself, as he always did.

Mac : Dorm, Gym/Stadium, Also everywhere

Mac's hands have been pretty tied lately. After Valentines', things got back to the old grind.

When Mac wasn't doing school or boxing stuff...he was on the lookout for anything fishy.

In the school.

To be honest, Mac hadn't been this upset in a while. But. He had to believe this will end soon. It had to. At this rate, Mac's senior year was going to be filled with stress and dread.

Oh but hey, Mac will be nice and friendly anyway. Care to have a talk?

Though sometimes the fishy things came directly to him. Or around him anyway.

Cyrus was in the gym. This was something highly unusual in and of itself, though he seemed to be simply jogging around the track.

He seemed to have no idea how to do so. After the first quarter mile, he stopped to stretch and remove his jacket, as if those things simply hadn't occured to him beforehand. And his running was strange and unpolished.

Maybe someone could help him.

Seth and Blake - BE-04

A) Yes, Seth shares a room with Blake but there's a fairly obvious line in the room and it's not difficult to discern which side belongs to who. Seth's side is neat, orderly, decorated with Victorian era styled furniture (dresser bureau, large mirror, hand mirrors, pocket mirrors, cushiony chair, gold jewelery everywhere, lavish bedspread and throw pillows--the works). His closet is similarly filled with Victorian era styled clothing. If there's any flowers on Warren's side of the room, they're sure to be fake, or dead. He still has that super gaudy fish tank, with fish that seem to change in colors once every other week. And Seth does of course have a personal computer, but he rarely uses it, instead preferring to peck away at his blackberry.

B) Spring is on the horizon but for now it's still fairly cold out, so sunbathing is a thing he will probably be doing at any point in the day. Sometimes he even skips classes to go laze up on the rooftops, across an entire bench in the courtyard, or on top of someone's car to soak up some warm sun. Whatever is most inconvenient for other expectant parties. Funny how fair and flawless his skin remains despite this... He probably won't appreciate anyone disturbing him, unless you are looking for some pops and he can make a quick buck off of you.

C) And then there's nightfall where the mysterious Thunder Beast occasionally comes out to play. Once in a blue moon, the campus is visited by a feline monster with three red eyes, looking for mischief. The poke-savvy might recognize this is in fact, a Persian, but there's no record of such a student or faculty at Smash Academy. Perhaps a wild one, then? Or maybe they're from Smash Academy's rival school Capcom High looking to cause some trouble. Either way, if you see this creature it's probably bad news for you.

She hadn't forgotten their agreement, but she wasn't sure if he had. Voile could not come right out and ask about it either. That required a direct approach and if she was going to admit to something, it was that while she didn't like roundabout methods, she was certainly guilty of them. Most of the time. The whole concept was a bit childish, which she supposed fit her in some odd way.

Hugging a sketchbook to her chest, she stared long and hard at the door to Seth and Blake's room. She'd still never met the latter, didn't even really know much about him - except that she liked the name. Blake. Simple and yet... unique. She was pretty sure she'd never known anyone with the same. But then, Seth was the same way.

Except she knew Seth.

Finally, she swallowed her doubts and uncertainties and with a soft knock, rapped upon the door.

RICK the ADVENTURE HOBO

Rick hasn't figured out the secret/hasn't had the fortune of turning back into a core just yet, but maybe something'll break soon. Until then he's a veritable (if grumpy) campus hobo, having no dorm or living space to claim as his own. A decent sleep schedule was still a hurdle, never having any need for one before as a robot. As a result, Rick often passes out face-first wherever he happened to be before he finally succumbs to exhaustion. Sometimes (often times) the scruffy green-eyed blonde was lucky and could be found sprawled all over common room's couch. Sometimes it was the floor.

Anywhere. On the floor.

Or if he's actually conscious he really can be found anywhere, aimlessly wondering around, obliging his curiosity (or stomach) and, well, sense of adventure.

By now he's figured out clothes, but not the concept of laundry or decency. If the student uniform he grabbed from some closet somewhere starts to smell funky? He'll just disrobe (WHEREVER HE FEELS LIKE IT), toss it away and find another one, resulting in frequently mismatched shirts and pants. At least the cowboy hat and jingling spurred boots will remain ever-present wherever he goes, whether it's sitting in some classroom he doesn't belong in, or trying to climb up onto the roof without using the stairs, or looking to give anyone who gives him sass a wedgie/knuckle sandwich.

And if you are of the lady-type persuasion, Rick has probably hit on you at least three times by now. At least.

Snake had long traveled via vents and casual walk, looking for very little in particular, but stopping each time something caught his interest. Well. He went anywhere that allowed him a smoke, because there was at least one very loud talking animal who wouldn't let it go that smoking was a horrible habit to get into. And the 'soldier' had known it. He simply... didn't really care. They had their uses. No point in putting the idea down without even trying it once. But people (and animals, evidently) could be so judgmental.

It was seeing Rick that took his thoughts and put them aside in favour of suspicion. Homeless, Snake had figured. Although in a town like FDC, it was hard to imagine someone hadn't bothered to dress him a little better. Not saying he was the epitome of all that was fashionable, but his sneaking suit sure looked better than the outfit Rick had managed to put together. He was sure he'd seen him before too. Briefly, perhaps. Snake didn't forget faces or voices, whether he personally associated with them or not.

He just couldn't put a name to the face.

"Hey," he addressed Rick somewhat gruffly, though his regular tone easily could have been interpreted as 'coarse' to put it lightly. "Dress like that and you're asking for a mugging." Even though they were still on academy campus, it hardly seemed impossible that the 'bullies' of the school would tackle the former core to the ground and beat him up. For. You know. Being a bum.

Alter Ego - Computer Lab

For Alter Ego, things haven't been too different since its arrival. It still resides in the network and has yet to adventure around the school. Kinda hard to do when you're an entity that can't interact with the physical world. But that doesn't mean that it can't have company!

There's pretty much only one scenario that can take place here: talk to a computer. And look weird while doing it. While Alter Ego can be brought up on any computer connected to the school's network, most might not be aware of that. In those cases, going to the computer lab and finding a banged-up laptop among the rows of newer computers might be a good way to start.
