When: The span of February 27 - March 13
Warnings: This log is yellow-taped with all kinds of potential warnings. If your filthy imagination can conjure it, this log can produce it.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's how this works. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. Feel like drawing graffiti on Professor Jin's door? Apologizing for the aftermath of the latest cupidbot fiasco? Doing each others' hair and talking about boys? Giving your trusted(?!?) friends a free ride in the dryer? [He's not been too public with anyone since being beat up by Eli. To be fair, the romantic 'outing' with Falcon has made him a little more wary about where he goes. Basically the concept is now to believe nothing should be trusted by default. It'll be required that his PSOCOM accompany him everywhere.

Snake's mostly in his room. But when he's not, he's not difficult to find in the vents, making his way from Point A to Point B. He also has a fondness for the bar in the town. And the ladies might find him in their locker room...]

[Mukuro, being a good soldier had taken the opportunity to explore the airvents. They were surprisingly spacious for a school. Sooner or later, these two soldiers would meet in an air vent face to face and there wouldn't be room for either of them to pass...]

[To some degree, to ever expect that no other would - in one way or another - utilise the vents spread about the academy would have been unrealistic. It wasn't to claim that Snake was one so bent on logic, as he'd better left that to Otacon much of the time, but when he found himself minutely surprised by crossing paths with Mukuro, it was impossible to not second-guess precisely why he'd react in such a way. Of course it was possible to run into that situation.

It just didn't have a high likelihood. In his opinion. Yet by sheer... coincidence? He'd found himself contemplating the probability of this precise situation occurring again. But he was no analyst and spending hours trying to figure that out didn't seem to be what he considered a particularly good use of his time.

Silent, unsure of what to say, unsure of whether he'd need to explain why an instructor was crawling around in vents of all places, he didn't have an answer for the potential question. Or... he did, but somehow owning up to deliberate eavesdropping didn't seem to be a thing to brag about. And while Snake might not have cared what most people thought of him, he had some semblance of understanding what was expected of him as a faculty member.

So his greeting was succinct and lacking in all that was grace.]

[This was awkward. Here were two individuals, crawling around in airvents because they were mentalists, to some degree. Mukuro crawled around the air vents as part of her reconnaissance mission, she wanted to know the school from the inside out. In case of emergencies, you know? And what better place to start than the inside? The absolute inside of the school.

What she didn't expect was someone to have the same idea.]

... Hey.

[This man seemed a lot older than her. That was her first thought. The second thought was whether he was dangerous. To Mukuro's mind, if he was in the same place as her then logically, he had similar thoughts to her. Was he a soldier? A spy? She didn't really want to think about hostiles in this school, but it was totally something that was a possibility considering people like Shadow the Hedgehog were around.

So she continues, with all the social grace she can muster.]

[In listening to her, he can only assume their thoughts are likely reflections of one another. He's not about to ask it, isn't even really sure he wants to know, but a part of him is curious at the very least. A conversation for another time. The pressing matter is mostly now that they're both in the vents, who needs to move for whom. In a way, he wants to say he was there first and considering she's an unfamiliar student to him, his first assumption is that he really has been there longer than her.

But Snake's assumptions have gotten him into trouble before, and his mouth and sometimes 'holier-than-thou' behaviour has gotten him into even more.

He squints at her and after a moment, he puts himself back together and chooses to bide his time carefully. Why not carry on a casual conversation with her? What harm could it really do?]
