Warnings: This log is yellow-taped with all kinds of potential warnings. If your filthy imagination can conjure it, this log can produce it.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's how this works. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. Feel like drawing graffiti on Professor Jin's door? Apologizing for the aftermath of the latest cupidbot fiasco? Doing each others' hair and talking about boys? Giving your trusted(?!?) friends a free ride in the dryer? [ DID YOU GET LOST, NAEGI? There's a lot to the school, but don't worry, there are people around.

Like a young woman there, sitting on a bench looking a little lost in thought- or perhaps just interested in watching the small courtyard fountain. Nevertheless, work your protagonist powers, my boy...! ]

[ At first, Naegi didn't think he got lost. Something about the hallways looked familiar, which had to mean he's on the right track. Then he ended up in the courtyard when he meant to head back to his dorm room. (Whoops.)

Since he'd rather not spend hours trying to retrace his steps in a surprisingly large school, Naegi looked around for someone to ask directions from. Luckily for him, someone was around. Hopefully she'd be willing to point him in the right direction? ]

Excuse me, miss? If it's not too much trouble, can I ask you for directions?

[ Though she had seen his shape move in the corner of her eyes, an object that caused her to look briefly in his direction but not at him, Furiae didn't take much notice of him until he had approached and spoken to her. She looked up then, seeing that she did not recognise him.

Ah, he was lost? She pondered his request, but asked him soon enough: ]

Where do you wish to go...?

The dorms. I was exploring the school, so I could get a better feel for the layout, but...

[ He sheepishly brought a hand to the back of his neck for a moment. ]

I'm pretty sure I'm completely lost by now. I can't even remember if I've ever been here before.

[ Really, he could have sworn his sense of direction was better than this... ]

... You are new?

[ Furiae could understand, finding that she had trouble making her way when she had first arrived. She took up from her seat, brushing off her skirt a bit, before putting her hands in front of her. ]

We are not too far from the dorms. [ She took a step forward, but still looked at Naegi. ] I can take you there myself.

[ He nodded once. ]

I just arrived here less than a week ago.

[ The difference between the layout of this school and Hope's Peak Academy was staggering, to say the least. Anyway, back to the conversation! ]

Ah, that'd be a huge help! But if you're busy, I'll be fine if you can point me in the right direction.

[ It wouldn't do to interrupt anything she might have been doing after all... ]

[ She shook her head; sitting and allowing herself to dwell on her unnecessary thoughts was hardly helpful, nor something she should be busy with. So she took a few steps toward the proper way, and motioned a head out. ]

Please, follow me.

[ And only once Naegi showed signs of moving would Furiae then do the same. ]

Um, yes! Thank you, miss!

[ And then he moved to follow her. But since it wouldn't do to just silently follow, he decided to speak up and introduce himself (which he should have done before really). ]

Right, this is late, but my name is Makoto Naegi. Pleased to meet you...?

[stillawoman]

[ wow motioned a head out?? i meant a hand but whoops too late ]

Furiae... [ She looked to him as he spoke, moving with a safe idea of the path before her. It felt somehow out of place to only give one name when given two, but she had never had to introduce herself with much else in the past. Regardless of those feelings, she gave the young man a polite smile and nod in return of his kind words. ] Just Furiae is fine, Mister Makoto... Naegi.

[ His name was rather strange, wasn't it? ... but now that she was looking at him, with that name just said, Furiae realised how foreign he features appeared. To her, at least. ]

[ It's hard to remember he's in a foreign country sometimes, so he slipped up a lot that first day at Smash, but he's starting to get the hang of how to properly address people here. ]

Then nice to meet you, Furiae.

[ Kinda hard to say that name (how to write it...), but he'll manage. ]

And just Makoto or Naegi is fine, whichever's easier to remember. No need for the mister though; I'm just a teenager.

[ It feels way too weird to have someone calling him mister when he's only 18 after all... ]

Makoto, then... even after all my time here, I still forget that strangers in this place prefer to be addressed in a casual manner...

Anyway, not knowing what's in store for him, Naegi quickly puts away the comic he's reading and runs to open the door before the hinges come off. ]

It's not really a question that's appropriate to ask aloud in the halls, anyway. But as embarrassing as it is, he's still all pumped from the discussion that happened next door not even a minute ago, so:]

[ Naegi stays uneloquently shocked for a moment. The idea of Ishimaru and Oowada asking for relationship advice? Anyone would have a bad feeling about where this conversation's likely to go. (This isn't going to turn out to be a prelude to Operation Babe Hunt, is it?)

However, luckily for you two, he didn't misinterpret that request. But considering the other person in this room, they might have a case of "one dialogue, two conversations" on their hands here. ]

[TOO LATE, CRESS. YOU'VE BEEN MINDED. Oowada barges forward at the doorway (pushing Naegi a little, oops) and shows Cress a tight fist full of AGGRESSIVE INTENT.]

[ Gosh, Oowada, can you like not push around the tiny herbivore, pretty please? Not that Naegi seems to register it much in favor of visibly flailing about instead. ]

Ahhh, wait, please don't threaten him! I'm sure Cress didn't mean anything by it!

[ ISHIMARU, HELP REIN IN YOUR BRO TOO. This visit isn't supposed to end with poundings! ]

[Whoa, that was close. Cress was getting ready to leap out the window if he had to. That was a gross exaggeration, but he'd totally duck out of the way and make a break for his life if he charged! Did he look like he could take a punch? Thank goodness Ishimaru and Naegi were there to keep that brute in line. Time to smooth over the fright that prickled up in that handful of seconds.

Dating advice...? Well, the way they were describing their issues earlier seemed a lot heavier than that! At least this made it much easier to take on their request.]

You want a few tips about how a date should go? Well, since I have been on a number of successful dates myself... I suppose it wouldn't hurt to dish out some advice. What seems to be the problem?
