Warnings: This log is yellow-taped with all kinds of potential warnings. If your filthy imagination can conjure it, this log can produce it.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's how this works. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. Feel like drawing graffiti on Professor Jin's door? Apologizing for the aftermath of the latest cupidbot fiasco? [It's about another fifteen minutes before Ishimaru gets back, all done with his hall monitoring for the day. Officially. Like he's ever NOT on duty...

But now it's time to unwind with some good old fashioned homework. YEAH.]

[Oh he's... taken to announcing his entry like that, huh. What else are you supposed to do when you have a roommate?

The first thing he does is set his book bag down on his desk. He hasn't noticed the box yet.]

[Oh, finally! Now he can ask about that box over there. He's glad he came in here before he got too bored and left.]

Welcome back! [He pulls himself upright and shifts closer to the edge of his bed, crossing his legs and leaning forward intently.] Hey, that goth-loli girl left you some kind of box. I put it over there. [He gestures to the box.] Not sure what it is, but... she said you asked for it.

What? I didn't ask for anything...

[Well, that's ominous. Especially if it's coming from Celes, considering the last time she gave him a box. He stares at it for a good long moment before giving in to curiosity and approaching it.]

Is that all she said about it?

[He undoes the safety pin from his armband so he can use it to cut the tape sealing it.]

That's it. [Leeeeeeaning in even further...] Hey, you want a knife for that?

[He lifts a flap. And then:]

Wait, do you have a knife on you?

That had better not leave this room! There are no concealed weapons allowed in the school!

[He'd rather it not even be in here... It's a little too soon to be keeping deadly weapons on hand, Mondo, don't you think?

Anyway, he fully opens the box and pulls out something black, white, and frilly all over.

Aa? Thought this was supposed to be some kind of fight...ing.

[He cuts his protest short and gapes at the pretty contents of Ishimaru's box.]

The hell is that? A dress...? She gave you a dress?

I definitely did not ask for a dress!

[He holds it out at arms length, completely baffled. Something with these frills and these colours might very well have been worn by Celes herself for all Ishimaru knows.]

...What exactly does it mean to get a gift like this?

Only thing I can think of is she wants you to wear it.

[...After a pause, he starts busting up laaaaaughing.]

So you gonna put it on or what?!

[Even Celes wouldn't try to humiliate him that way, right?! AUGH HIS OWN BROTHER IS LAUGHING AT HIM this is the worst...]

[...He eyes the ironing board that is always glaringly present. Granted, this is Ishimaru, and he's tidier than laundry detergent itself. If anyone knew those twenty or whatever steps he just described, it would be him. A sliver of fear wormed its way inside his chest as he remembered her polite little facade breaking down into a screaming witch at "pig boy", who was also asked to perform a task for her. If that was true, then Ishimaru was in trouble. It would be better for him if they were just a weird present.]

She didn't say a thing about washing to me. Got any notes in there?

[Hey, just because he enjoys a clean and pristine uniform doesn't mean he knows anything about the care and keeping of a dress. ...But he would probably do a pretty good job.

He peeks into the box... Nope. In the dress? Shaking it out a little yields nothing, either.]

There's nothing. Even so, there's no way this would fit me, so your theory must be wrong!

[He stands and holds the dress to his body to prove it, because no itty bitty French Maid costume is going to fit a built guy at 5'9"-- wait, shit, it looks like it would be a perfect fit.]

[Sure it was funny as a joke, but if this is really serious, Mondo felt Ishimaru's pain. Celes didn't seem easy to deal with at all, so it wasn't like refusing seemed like an easy possibility. His face was contorting in chagrin. But that chagrin gives way to a new expression as he loosens the tension in his muscles and eyes him questioningly.]

[What kinds of untold horrors was she exacting upon his brother...?]

[He's said too much already... This was something he really would have preferred to keep to himself. Forever. Still, if he had to tell anybody, it might as well be Mondo, right?

[He begins folding the dress back up to put away, because no way is he going to put it on whether he deserves it or not right now.]

[Jeez... That sounds pretty rough, even though he wronged her in some huge way he didn't understand. But he repaid her, right? His advice would have defaulted to 'if she's gonna keep harassing you then show her who's boss with your fists' but unfortunately, you don't go around hitting girls. About the best you could do was tell them to cut something out. How do you even DEAL with girls?? No, how do you deal with girls like Celes?]

Must be some kind of prank. If she didn't outright ask you to wear it, that makes it easier, right? I don't know what's going on with you two, but if you repaid it then you repaid it.
