Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. If your heart dreams it, your fingers can type it.
When: The span of February 27 - March 13
Warnings: This log is yellow-taped with all kinds of potential warnings. If your filthy imagination can conjure it, this log can produce it.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's how this works. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. Feel like drawing graffiti on Professor Jin's door? Apologizing for the aftermath of the latest cupidbot fiasco? Doing each others' hair and talking about boys? Giving your trusted(?!?) friends a free ride in the dryer? Staying up late at night making use of those dick-shaped cake pans you found in the cupboard? Man, I don't care, just do it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Max continued to look at Rick via the mirror.

"You can do a pullup," said Max.

"You can't bench 745."

"But if you work at it, I can get you to where you can bench 300. But you probably don't want it enough," Max said, as a brocouragment.

"Says who?" Rick spat, not one to let his mantosterone go unchallenged.

"I can take it. I can take lots of it."

"Says me," replied Max. "The guy who runs this place."

Max sniffed the air delicately.

"The first thing you can take is a trip to the showers," said Max. "You smell like you ain't had a shower in a week."

Oh great. He's the guy who runs this place. Just great.

Rick pouted but continued to hold onto the bar with relatively little discomfort.

"'Cause it hasn't showered in like, a week. Been snowing again."

Max stared at him from behind him via the mirror (this was sort of really awkward if you thought about it).

"Wait. Wait. Are you tellin' me that you don't shower unless it rains? So when's the last time you had a shower? More than a week? For real?"

Max is holding the bar slightly further away from his body now. It's a good thing Max has the delts to do that.

"For real." Rick parroted, super seriously.

He might have been mildly proud of this fact.

Max walked over to a nearby squat rack to place the absurdly over-loaded bar on one of its higher-up bar rests, leaving Rick no longer dangling, per se, but with his feet now touching the ground.

Max then looked Rick right in the eyes (right in them, dear reader) and said, "I gotta disinfect that bench now, and if you think I'm gonna let a filthy guy who don't even keep clean use my equipment, you're outta your mind. So, either hit the showers," and here, gentlest reader, Max pointed to a set of doors marked "Men's" that was next to a set of doors marked "Women's" and which, to the astute reader, would most likely lead to some sort of changing room/bath room/shower area, which is what they actually did lead to, "Or get the hell out of my weight room. You got clean clothes to change into somewhere?"

Back on solid ground, Rick tried not to mind the faint sting in his arms. It was a good kind of sting, but seemed to only make itself apparent now that he wasn't using the limbs. HUMANS WERE WEIRD.

"Clean clothes?" ...Right, that. "I can clean 'em in the shower with me. Or get new ones." That was usually what he did.

"What the hell," said Max, who was reaching levels of incredulity unbeknownst to man. "Seriously, what? What the heck is wrong with you? You can't clean clothes in the shower. You clean them in a laundry machine and you don't just get new clothes every time you change your clothes. Did your mom never teach you how to wash clothes?"

Rick looked both incredulous and offended. Incredulously offended.

"Never had a mom." EXCUSE YOU, MAX. "Or clothes before."

Seriously, man. Making some rude roboracist assumptions here.

Meanwhile Max just looked incredulous and a little ashamed because, whoops, this guy has a dead mom. "Sorry about the mom thing. But. I mean. Everybody wears clothes. What do you mean you ain't never had clothes before?"

Max probably thinks that robots are unnatural because Black Hole would use evil robots to, I don't know, build volcanos or something, so yeah, probably a little bit.

Rick decided to let any further befuddlement of why he would be sorry about him never having a mom thing roll off his back.

"Never needed 'em." There was a pause. "Never had skin and arms and waists and stuff before either."

Wait, what? Max now looks horribly confused.

"Are you a ghost?" Max asks, as he knows at least two ghosts (hi, Doopliss, hi Nyx) that currently go to this school, and former ghosts that once attended (hi, Blacky). "Or some sorta... pokemon with no skin?" he asked. So, basically, a ghost-type. Are you a ghost or some sort of fightghost?

Man, as awesome as being some kind of skinless fightghost sounded, (which Rick paused thoughtfully to imagine himself being) that was wrong.

"Nope. I'm an Adventure Sphere; Designed for Danger, and Aperture Science's finest."

"Adventure Sphere," repeated Max slowly as the gears in his noggin' slowly ground together. "Adventure. Sphere."

His memory flitted back across the ages and months and rested on a memory of meeting an Adventure Sphere in the distant past.

"You're the round robot thing that doesn't know how to skin a bear!" said Max, pointing dramatically and suddenly getting it all at the same time.

DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER. Max's prize was a disgruntled pout, punctuated by crossed arms.

"Do too! Just, you know, didn't have arms or hands. Now I do."

As a matter of fact. Much like the fact of Rick really still doesn't know how to skin a bear. Rest assured, he would make much more of an actual effort now if given the opportunity, instead of imagining himself doing it.

"In case you didn't notice."

"You said that you skin a bear by startin' with the FACE," said Max, crossing his arms in response to Rick's crossed arms. It was some sort of crossed-arms race all up in this place. "Everybody knows you start with the anus," he explained.

"And speakin' of bad smellin' things, you still need a shower. ASAP. I'll get you some of Vinnie's clothes to change into. You know how to take a shower, right? Soap and shampoo and towels and hot water, yeah?"

Rick grumbled very irritably.

"Yeah, yeah. Of course I can." Figure it out.

"Then after that those weights are gettin' lifted. Mock my words, big guy." One way or another, no matter how long it took.

"Fine," said Max. "But not as many as you thought you could do. I'll be the one to tell you how much you do and when you can move up. And I'm gonna have to show you how you put weights away and keep this place nice and tidy."

Max is Weight Room Den Mother.

"Now you go hit the shower and make sure you scrub everything good, and I'll be back in like ten minutes with some of Vinnie's stuff for you. I hope you like pink."
