Dorm Log: the millionth revenge

What: Dorm log! SUMMER BREAK EDITION!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Everything is acceptable.
When: The span of July 11 - July 22
Warnings: Imagine college, only with more super mushrooms-- WAIT NO lollipop drugs are the craze these days.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Keep in mind that starting the 17th, the school will progressively be inundated with flood waters.

You can put off evolution...? I thought it just sorta...happened.

Yeah. There's, like, this stone- an Everstone- you can carry around that'll keep it from happening. A trainer can also stop their Pokemon from evolving if they're not holding an Everstone.

[Pause.]

A Pokemon can do it on their own, too. It's really hard, though. The higher in level you are, the harder it is to keep yourself from evolving.

[Suddenly embarrassed for having said so much, Marie shrinks back a bit.]

But, yeah, like, whatever.

...Didja just not like evolvin', why would you wanna stop it?

[Because...you were supposed to be a big turtle with water guns who doesn't want to be that.]

Pretty much up until just a while ago, so, yeah. A while.

[He fidgets with his sleeve to make himself feel a little more comfortable.]

I wasn't ready up until then, I guess. I'm staying a Wartortle, though. Blastoise don't really live that long. [He motions to his shoulders.] All that metal isn't good for a Pokemon that isn't a Steel type.

I didn't know that, so...sorry if I sounded dumb just then.

[He didn't mean to seem inconsiderate, he had no idea that being a Blastoise was so weird like that. He just thought they seemed like cool Pokemon.]

Guess I got a lot to learn 'bout Pokemon, yet.

No. Like, it's okay. Blastoise aren't bad Pokemon or anything. Just ... not my thing, y'know?

[Mac seemed flustered. Which made Marie feel even more self-conscious. Maybe he'd try to lighten the mood...?]

Wartortles can live for hundreds of years, though. That's... uh, nice...?
