Dorm Log: the millionth revenge

What: Dorm log! SUMMER BREAK EDITION!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Everything is acceptable.
When: The span of July 11 - July 22
Warnings: Imagine college, only with more super mushrooms-- WAIT NO lollipop drugs are the craze these days.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Keep in mind that starting the 17th, the school will progressively be inundated with flood waters.

Blue - BW10 / Everywhere and Anywhere

[Blue was still very much adjusting to this new place, and ofentimes could not sit very still. Through out the days she was out and about at any given time, either here or there. On campus and off. More often than not she had some sort of Pokemon near her side, be it her Charizard or the Clefable and Sandslash that were a bit more size accommodating.

You were much more likely to find her around her room in the evenings when the day had sufficiently worn her out, but even then she was probably around the common rooms.]

[Sorry Blue, were you reading that? Not anymore, yoink.]

Hey!

[She turns and- oh. Blue pouts and points at the newspaper he had stolen.]

Give that back.

[rivalappeared]

[It's a dance Green's played many a time. He holds it at his eye level.]

You know, I was looking for today's newspaper.

[travelingbelle]

[NO.]

Surely you were looking for a different edition. This one doesn't have anything about your face in it.

Ouch, like a dagger to the heart. Still not getting this back.

What do you even want with it?

[She already knows its an attempt made in vain, but she tries to grab it out of his hand.]

[Green jerks the newspaper above his head, fishing his reading glasses out of his front jacket pocket with the other hand. He flips them open and places them on his face.]

I want to read.

[He makes a show of reading the front page.]

Gotta keep up with the times, you know.

[Wait. Wait hold up, now she's distracted. Blue moved over to his side, peering at him intently and completely disregarding the whole issue of the newspaper.]

Since when did you have those?

[She's pointing at the corners of her eyes.]

[Green self consciously pushes the glasses up the bridge of his nose.]

I got them when I was working in Gramps' lab. Guess I've never taken them out around you. Not much reason to do heavy reading when you're battling.

Then you're missing all the fine print of the terms and conditions of my kicking your butt.

[Grin.]

Are those considered one of the treasures of Viridian, too?

[Green twists his mouth to the side.]

... I don't think my fangirls actually know I wear glasses. I was pretty out of the picture when I was doing research. They didn't come flocking back until I showed up on the Gym Leader scene post puberty.

I guess I'll just have to be their only fan then besides Bulba.

Was that a floating candle outside your window?!

[It could have been! Except it wasn't, it was a familiarly shaped flame zipping from one side, and not long after zipping to the other side. If Blue decided to take a better look, she'd notice the flame was attached to tail that was attached to an orange haired girl who was currently rollerblading at night.

Because why not when you have a permanent flame on your tail?]

[The flicker of flame had in fact gotten Blue's attention. Even with the distance in mind, Blue could still tell that it was a bit smaller than her lizard's flame.

Curiosity led her outside, peering around for the source of the bobbing light she had seen.]

[The source of the flame kept zipping back and forth, the girl in question rollerblading happily in the outside area. She seemed to be enjoying herself and her tail actively seemed to sway side to side even when she moved it to avoid setting anything on fire.]

[Whoosh there it went! Whoosh, and again! It was a bit hard to tell in the dark, so Blue wasn't entirely certain, but the roller blading girl's tail seemed like it was a bit lighter in color. Maybe. A Charmander then? A very small Charizard? She had to be some sort of fire lizard, at the very least.

When she got somewhat closer again, Blue lifted a hand to try and catch her attention.]

Hello..!

[candlebottom]

[And the call certainly did catch her attention, making her turn to look and skidding to a halt before making her way towards the stranger with a bright and friendly smile.]

'Ey there! Fancy meetin' sumone at this time a' nite that ain't a ghost or a nawkturnal denizen.

And fancy meeting someone with a fire tail!

[She smiled and held her hand out.]

I'm Blue! I just got here a little bit ago.

[candlebottom]

[Riwane took her hand and gave it a nice friendly shake with a big smile.]

Well Blue, nice ta meet'cha! That's a pretty name fur shure!

Ah'm Riwane, an' tha firetail's cus Ah'm a Charmander.

[Blue looks absolutely pumped.]

I knew it!! Or, uh, I thought I knew it! It was either a Charmander or a 'meleon, but I don't really think you've got the coloring for a 'meleon...

[Blue squinted a little. It was still a bit hard to tell! But then she beamed.]

It's real nice meeting you, I'm definitely a fan! Ah, you're so cute now you must be absolutely adorable when you're a real mander.

[Gush gush gush.]

[Riwane blinked a few times and a light rosy blush crept onto her cheeks as she giggled.]

A fan? Why would yew be a fan of me? Or are yew referrin' ta Charmanders in general? In which case! That's real good too!

Ah can totally arrange that look, jus' gimme a moment ta take these off. Ah haven't been able ta ride em as a 'mander yet!

[With that, Riwane sat down and took off her rollerblade, looking mighty happy. Soon enough, they were off and she didn't take long to switch to her natural form, a happy and bright smile on her face as she turned towards Blue.]

Blue might have hopped a little from foot to foot in her excitement. She was definitely crouching down now to be closer to Riwane's height.]

Ahh! Oh, gosh, you're definitely a real cutie. I remember when my Charizard was your size, ehehe. She was just your color!

[candlebottom]

[Riwane smiled happily at the expression and got closer to Blue. Just hearing that she had or has a Charizard sent all the happy and trust vibes she needed to place Blue in high standing!

She even nuzzled against her happily.]

[Oh Riwane. How quickly you have soared into Blue's heart. What a trusting little thing she was. Did she have a pack here somewhere then? A trainer? Asides from the Charizards on campus, Blue hadn't seen any other firetails yet. The trainer option was probably more likely.

Blue couldn't possibly smile any larger as she took advantage of the mander's affectionate nature, gently reaching out to rub the back of her head.]
