Dorm Log: the millionth revenge

What: Dorm log! SUMMER BREAK EDITION!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Everything is acceptable.
When: The span of July 11 - July 22
Warnings: Imagine college, only with more super mushrooms-- WAIT NO lollipop drugs are the craze these days.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Keep in mind that starting the 17th, the school will progressively be inundated with flood waters.

Kumatora's been hanging out here a lot lately. She has a lot to think about, and a lot to punch.

You can find her either beating the crap out of the sandbag, or flipping through the stage selection, sometimes stopping at a particular one just to stand on one of the platforms and study it.

Oh, hey, Duster's just in time for another sandbag beating! This time, Kumatora's kicking it. Since she's not exactly paying attention, she might accidentally launch it directly at Duster's head.

Oh wow, Duster just got hit in the head with a sandbag.

Some sort of muffled yelp and mumbled words can be heard along with the sound of the impact.

"Oh shi-" Kumatora dashed over to the pile of sandbag and unsuspecting bystander. She grabbed the bag and tossed it to the side only to find...!

"D-duster!" She felt her face getting hot. Nice going, you just gave him a concussion! "I didn't even see you!"

"Hi, Kuma," he managed to get out. "Fancy meeting you here." He groped out for her hand. "Give me a hand, will you?"

He called her by name! That's a good sign. She reached down and grabbed his hand and tried not to blush any more than she already was. "Jeez, for a second I was worried I'd given you amnesia again."

She realized what just came out of her mouth and her attempts to avoid blushing failed immediately. "I mean, oh crap..."

Duster suddenly eyed Kuma warily.

"... since when did you remember that?" he asked as he took her hand.

It actually happened. She wasn't crazy.

"You got washed away by a flood and spent three years thinking your name was Lucky." She said flatly. "About a week ago, if you believe that."

"And you spent a year as a cute waitress named Violet," replied Duster, looking down at the little pink-haired punk princess (not really a princess).

"And do you remember anything after that? After Club Titiboo. Anything, uh, interesting." Duster didn't want to come out and break her world apart for her if she hadn't had it happen already (Thanks, Leder, sheesh).

"Don't tell me something else happened after Lucas blew up the world?" Kumatora winced. "Or, wait, you're talking about that tall guy, aren't you?"

She looks a little downcast. "Yeah, that happened, too."

"Well, when Lucas blew up the world, I ended up here," replied Duster. "Remember when I first showed up saying crazy things about needles and dragons? So, uh... what happened to you that you remember this now?"

"And I thought you sounded crazy then. I guess that makes me crazy now, too." Everything made sense now!... except the part that it didn't at all.

"It was two weeks ago. I was just minding my own business and the next thing I knew some kind of time-travel stuff happened. I was back in Osohe Castle, and you and your old man were there, except you didn't remember being here at all, and neither did Lucas when I met up with him. I spent all these years doing this crazy stuff, but then I end up back here and barely a week's passed. I don't even know what to think about it all."

"Well, we're both brainwashed, anyway. Crazy or no. And this place works funny. You must have traveled back in time and then back to the present of here and now. At least you didn't forget this place though, right?"

"Pretty sure that's what happened." Kumatora nodded. "I never forgot about this place, but it's weird, it's like everything that happened there felt real, too. Like I was always supposed to do all of that stuff."

She looked down and kicked at the ground with one foot. "It... it was real, right? All that stuff with the needles, and everything the tall guy said?"

"Yeah, it was all real. I did it all and then ended up here. Maybe Lucas' pulling the final needle threw time all off. I don't know. But it all happened. Lucas knew it before he left, too."
