Dorm Log: the millionth revenge

What: Dorm log! SUMMER BREAK EDITION!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Everything is acceptable.
When: The span of July 11 - July 22
Warnings: Imagine college, only with more super mushrooms-- WAIT NO lollipop drugs are the craze these days.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Keep in mind that starting the 17th, the school will progressively be inundated with flood waters.

[Jolt is all about everywhere. Human form. Jolteon form. He's anywhere you want him to be.]

[There is a knock at Jolt's door!]

[Jolt hopped up out of bed and went to open the door.

OH BOY GREEN.

OH BOY THIS IS BEST DAY.

Puppy instincts were in full force and Jolt gave the boy a hug.]

Green! Nice to see you!

[rivalappeared]

[Green laughs, returning the boisterous hug. Right. Time to get used to his Jolteon in human form.]

You too, buddy! Looks like two legs are treating you well.

Now that I've figured them out, yep! No more scraped knees. And no more Bulba chasing me with bandages.

[He lets go of Green.]

So, here for a social call? Or is this RA business? Please be the former.

Haha, yeah it's the former. I may the only boy's RA at the moment, but I don't see why that means I have to do any extra work, right?

[He pats Jolt on the shoulder and flops onto the electrified boy's swivel chair.]

How're you adjusting?

[Jolt hops onto his bed.]

So far so good. It feels so different. Not in a bad way, just different. Kinda hard to describe... I mean, like, I'm used to bristling up to help build up charge, or as a defense mechanism or something? And when I think to do it like this, it just doesn't happen. That kinda thing.

[rivalappeared]

[Green motions to Jolt's hair.]

You sure you don't have some sparks running through that hair of yours?

[Like you're one to talk about spiky hair, Green.]

Well, it IS some pretty amazing hair, and when I'm fired up I can feel it sizzle. Still not quite the same as having fur all over, but a close second. Funny thing, I always used to look at humans and wonder how they ever got by not being covered in fur. Now I got my answer.

[rivalappeared]

Yeah, we get by somehow.

[He shrugs.]

Looks like it's time to start training you with your human form... Don't want you losing control over your lightning.

[rivalthunderbolts]

Way ahead of you! I've been tryin' to do some simple moves for starters. It's harder without all my fur to build up electricity, so I've gotta learn to do it like this. But I'm keepin' at it, and I'll have Thunder down in no time!

Hm... What do you think of trying out Thunder at sort of a... Thundershock capacity? And build up from there?

I could try it... Feels like starting over training from square one. It was a hell of a change the first time, when I evolved. The fun part about changing types during evolution; you've gotta learn all over how your own body works.
