Dorm Log: the millionth revenge

What: Dorm log! SUMMER BREAK EDITION!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Everything is acceptable.
When: The span of July 11 - July 22
Warnings: Imagine college, only with more super mushrooms-- WAIT NO lollipop drugs are the craze these days.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Keep in mind that starting the 17th, the school will progressively be inundated with flood waters.

What better than a nice glass of ice cold lemonade to quench that summer heat thirst? How about a glass of ice cold lemonade with a side of those unnaturally flavorful and oddly addicting lollies?! Nothing I tell you.

They're so good they'll have you coming back for more! Really! I swear!

When she's not in her little makeshift lemonade stand, Riwane's blasting music as per usual from her dorm room and dancing or studying, probably more dancing than studying...

Kanji was walking by out in the sweltering heat. Ugh, it was so hot and he hated it. Why was he even outside? Right, he was considering taking a dip in the pool, that's why. He couldn't stay inside his dorm forever in this heat, but ugh.

However, he passed by an appealing-looking lemonade stand. What a perfect sight for this heat...

"Hey, how much for the lemonade?"

Riwane smiled wide as she got a customer and cheerfully waved.

"'Ey there! Lemonade's only one dollar, but yew can have one extra refill if yew're parched! So it's lahk, two fur one!" she said excitedly before putting up Warren's treats as well.

"We also got these real good sweets from the host club, they're awesome and will turn your world upside down or so Ah've herd!"

A dollar for a lemonade with an extra refill. That was a good deal. So Kanji was ready to agree to the purchase when the girl mentioned her other products. Those sweets.

"Yeah? How much are the sweets, then?"

"They're five dollars each, but Ah'll give yew three fur ten! Ah've herd they're more'n worth it, but they're on sale cus they're special an' tha owner wants 'em marketed as much as possible, so they're gunna be this cheap for a limited time only!"

She pulled out one of each color, "See, each one of em' has a special property, like uh, hmmm like special potions in games! Red is lahk an energy drink, orange is for smarties Ah think, yellow is fur uh Ah think fer a pick me up! or sumtin' lahk that. Green are fur nice sleepy times, blue Ah think are ta clear yer mind or sumtin, purple make yew happier!"

Riwane did a little dance and struck a pose with the sweets, "Get 'em now while yew still can! But don't worry, Ah got a good amount of em!"

Kanji shrugged. Ten dollars for three little lollipops did sound like an awful lot, but if they had those weird properties she mentioned, then hey, maybe he could give them a shot.

"Huh. All right. Gimme a lemonade then... And uh..."

He stopped to think about which lollipops he should take.

"Give me a green, purple, and uh... I dunno, orange I guess."

"Woohoo!" Riwane did a little bouncy cheer before pouring the nice, ice cold beverage into the tall glass and placing the three sweets into a paper bag. She moved over towards Kanji and handed over the stash with a bright smile.

"Alrite, that'll be eleven dollars~! Yew won't regret it Ah assure yew~"

Are they very expensive?

[Riwane shakes her head.]

Nawt fur how great they are! Five each, or durin' this short sale event of introduction, yew can git three fur ten~!

Hn. Well, there's no harm in trying them out.

[She points.]

Three yellow, please.

Alrighty! Comin' rite up!

[Riwane placed three yellows in a paper bag and handed them over with a bright smile.]

Want a drink to go with 'em? It's mighty hot out 'ere. It'd be on the house!

[Damn it. So Blacky's got a craving it turns out a bag of normal dollar store lollipops aren't cutting it. What, is there crack in Seth's brand? No legal herb could Whatever, they take her mind off the heat enough for her to not care until after summer's over.

[Riwane looked over and smiled, offering an excited wave to the teacher.]

Haaaiii Miss Blacky!

An' nupe, nawt competin' Ah'm actually workin' fur him!

Five each! But since Ah'm s'posed ta be introducing them, yew can git three fur ten! So it ain't that bad now is it?

[Riwane smiled brightly.]

[Still ridiculous for LOLLIPOPS but what the hell else is a ghost going to need to save her money for. She takes out a twenty from her cleavage A VERY HIDDEN DRESS POCKET.]

"Bloody hell. Never knew you were an entrepreneur."

Lemonade was hardly his first choice in liquid refreshments but he had to be supportive, of course. He put down a dollar on the counter.

"Sweets too, eh?"

"Moonshine!" she said excitedly before hugging him tightly, a bright smile on her face.

"Well, Ah kept tha ol' farmer company whenever he went to tha fair ta sell his crops an' such! So Ah know a thing 'r two!"

She quickly poured a nice glass of ice cold lemonade for him and held it over to him before nodding.

"Yup! They're Mistah' Warren's product! That's wut he wanted me ta work with. Figured Ah mite as well do two fur one rite?!"

"Smart girl. Two birds, one axe-kick."

He took the lemonade and drank it pretty quickly - he could do without the fruity sweetness, but the coolness of it was appreciated.

"So, this fellow wants you to peddle candy?" he asked. "Sounds like one of those girl scout cookie pyramid schemes." He picked one up, looking it over. A red one. "Bright and colorful, though. How much they goin' for?"

Riwane smiled happily, he seemed to enjoy the drink!

"Well, he said to git 'em out and about first. Lahk a promotion of sorts, so prices were up in tha air. They'll come back for more latah he assured us! They're that good Ah think? Ah haven't tried em' personally, I mite latah on!"

She smiled and gave a thumbs up. "Ah'm sellin' em fur five a piece or three fur ten! They're special so Ah figured it was a fair 'nuff price!"

Excuse him while his miserly little heart sinks into the pit of his stomach. He would have paid another dollar or less but five dollars? For candy? His scroogeish brain can hardly comprehend.

Lemonade stand!

Nephenee was coming back from training, with sweat dripping from her brow, when SUDDENLY! Like a mirage in the desert, a lemonade stand! Staffed by her good friend Riwane! Well good golly Molly, this was just the perfect thing for a tired girl after trainin'!

"Well heya, Riwane!" She chirped, touching a handkerchief to her brow, "How're ya doin' today, sweetcakes?"

"Nephee~!!" Riwane called back with an excited wave, fiery tail swaying side to side happily. "Ah'm ratha well thank yew very much! Nice an' sunny outside, perfect day fur a nice cold drink rite?!"

She didn't even need to ask, Riwane was already pouring her friend a freebie and held it over to her with a bright smile.
