Dorm Log: the millionth revenge

What: Dorm log! SUMMER BREAK EDITION!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Everything is acceptable.
When: The span of July 11 - July 22
Warnings: Imagine college, only with more super mushrooms-- WAIT NO lollipop drugs are the craze these days.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Keep in mind that starting the 17th, the school will progressively be inundated with flood waters.

Eli - mostly just training.

[Eli wakes up incredibly early to attempt to use the stadium for training before anyone else gets there. Once she finishes there, she can be found anywhere else your heart desires on campus.

Her trips to the library have been dramatically reduced since cutting things off with Kanji, although it is still possible to occasionally find her there reading things she has no intention of checking out.

Although the track teacher mysteriously disappeared, Eli still practices on the track field in the early evening. Sometimes into the late evening, if she's in a particularly bad mood.]

[One of those mornings, Cammy could also be found doing a few laps around the track.]

[Cammy was noticed. But-- at first, anyway-- not noticeably acknowledged by the other girl occupying the field. But when she pulled off track to catch her breath, Eli's narrowed eyes followed the blonde. Silently, she studied the way Cammy carried herself and the pattern of her breathing.]

[After a bit more running, Cammy pauses in the middle of the field to stretch and drink some water. She notices Eli looking in her direction, and nods at the snake.

[Instinctively, Eli nods back. A beat passes, and Eli makes her way closer to Cammy. She's not the best with smalltalk, but Cammy ranks decently in Eli's book. That's at least enough to earn her a greeting.]

Good morning...

[cannonspike]

[She stretches her arms behind her back.]

How've you been?

[hissyfit]

Fine.

[Not entirely true, but isn't that what was expected when people asked that? Eli really wasn't the type to reveal much about herself at all, either.]

And yourself?

[cannonspike]

[She shrugs.]

Fine... bored. Quiet summer.

[HA. HA. HA. NOT FOR LONG.]

I prefer it to be quiet. Easier to concentrate on my training. The more insipid shit going on, the harder it is to do that.

[cannonspike]

I hear you.

[Silence.]

You know, if you ever wanted to spar to let off some steam... I could be your woman.

[hissyfit]

[Eli's eyes light up, although her proud frown remains. She nods eagerly.]
