Dorm Log: the millionth revenge

What: Dorm log! SUMMER BREAK EDITION!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Everything is acceptable.
When: The span of July 11 - July 22
Warnings: Imagine college, only with more super mushrooms-- WAIT NO lollipop drugs are the craze these days.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Keep in mind that starting the 17th, the school will progressively be inundated with flood waters.

Riwane liked him already! Goes to show that all fiery spirits have the hot blooded urge to be excited and cheerful!

"Real nice ta meet'cha then! Ah've been a student here, uh for a long while now! It's nice an' fun an' tha people are great! Yew'll love it here Ah'm shure!"

She paused and looked at him excitedly, "Didn' know Gym Leader's could be students too! Most Ah've met are teacha's but hopefully Ah'll be able to see yew 'round more often as a student!"

He rubbed the back of his neck. "I don't think I have what it takes to be a teacher yet, anyway! I don't have enough experience, and I'm definitely not old enough to be a teacher!"

"Hey now, who says it gots anythin' ta do with age?! In mah opinion, Ah think it has ta do a lot with spirit! And yew seem ta have lots'a that!" Riwane said excitedly, smiling warmly at him.

"You think, huh?" he mused aloud, appearing thoughtful. "Well, that's okay! I still think I probably have a thing or two to learn from some of the people here!"

That reminded him... "Oh, hey! You said you've been a student here for a while, right?! Then maybe you can tell me which classes you think are the best, if you have any you can think of!"

"A'course there's always sumtin' ta learn! One can never know everything and there's nuthing wrong with knowing a bit more, or taking refresher courses!"

However, at the latter question, her cheeks tinged a bit rosy and she rubbed the back of her head with an awkward grin.

"Eh, Ah dun think Ah'm tha best person ta ask. Heh, Ah've been here for a while cus Ah keep failin' mah classes unless they involved physical activities... But that's okay! It jus' means Ah gotta try an' focus harder and study more!"

He grinned. "Aww, that's okay! To be honest, I bet I'm going to have a bit of a hard time here, too! That is, unless the class involves my strengths! I'm good at topics involving Pokémon - especially related to types - and I'm dynamite when it comes to cooking, performance, and probably some other stuff I can't remember! But I'm afraid I'll have to take a class that'll put me to sleep..."

...Like biology, language, government, history, anything with too many books and not enough hands-on activities, he was certain would bore him. But he needed to expand his horizons...

Riwane giggled and nodded, "Well there's a few lahk that! But still! It's already real amazin' that yew know all those things! They'll come in real handy that they shure will! Ah bet yew'll do great!"

She gave him a reassuring thumbs up!

"I'm sure it couldn't hurt to broaden my horizons!" he answered modestly, adding an airy laugh to the end of his confession. "But thanks! I'm here because I want to be stronger and smarter; I can't be a good trainer unless I can withstand the heat, the way my Pokémon can!"

But back to his original question... Chili tapped an index finger against his jaw. "Well, if you say you're good with the more physical activities... Got any suggestions? I wanna take all the best ones! And hey, that would mean I could be your classmate, right?"

"Thait's tha spirit!" Riwane cheered with a small laugh. "Gotta get strongah that way you and your team will be unbeatable in both body and spirit!"

At the latter question, she tapped her chin in thought as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Well, Phys Ed is a must, there's also a new gymnastics class by a new teacha that Ah'm dying to take cause it'll work great fur combat Ah'd think! An' most of tha stamina and endurance classes Ah'd say are a must! Can't do much if yew can't stay in tha fite!"

"Gymnastics, huh?" repeated Chili. "That sounds like something that would match the way my Pansear moves! I think that's a class I'll definitely take, especially if you're dying to take it!"

Pansear seemed to agree with the notion, making a pleasant noise.

"That'd be great! Ah'm shure it'll be tons of fun, especially if yew guys are goin' fur it! The more tha merrier rite?!" she said excitedly.

He pumped his fist. "All right! I'll make sure to choose that one for sure! Thanks for the tip, uhh... Oops, I don't think I caught your name!" Chili sheepishly brought a finger to his cheek idly. "Do you have one, or do you just go by Charmander...?"

She smiled happily, pointing a thumb in her direction proudly.

"Name's Riwane. Pleashure ta meet'cha!"

Chili smiled. "Riwane, okay! It's awesome to meet you, too!"
