Dorm Log: the millionth revenge

Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Everything is acceptable.
When: The span of July 11 - July 22
Warnings: Imagine college, only with more super mushrooms-- WAIT NO lollipop drugs are the craze these days.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Keep in mind that starting the 17th, the school will progressively be inundated with flood waters.

[After a few moments of making punching sounds, taunting, and wiggling very angrily at Chili's many whiffs and wafts, the name registered.]

Wait--wait. What'd you call me?

[Chili opens his mouth, about to yell angrily about something else. But then he stops and drops his fists at his side and just grits his teeth at his opponent.]

Wheatley!! Yeah, I know your name! I remember it! What do you take me for, a blazing idiot?!

Uh... yes. I do. As a matter of fact.

Do I look or sound anything like some space villain reject? If you think for a second I'm anything like that guy you are the biggest, blazingest idiot I have ever seen.

Name's Rick. Not Wheatley.

WHY Y-- [He just about lost it but then... RICK?!?!??!??!?! ...Was he wrong? Is it time to reconsider this situation? Chili STOPS BEING HOSTILE and thinks. A good choice.]

...Rick...? Huuuuh?! Hey, wait a minute... I think you might be right! Wheatley had an accent, but it doesn't sound like yours! [He points at Rick.] Does that mean you know Wheatley? Is he here?!

[He hopes he's not here. Please don't actually be at this academy.]

Yeah his accent's real dumb. Probably in the library stickin' his nose in all those books.

You met that guy before?

[WHOA. OH NO. That sucks and he is here... SHIIIT.]

Yeah, I did! His stupid tests... I hate him!! And I'm going to make him pay for what he did to us!

So you're a test subject, huh? Thought for sure we'd run outta' those eventually but never seems to happen.

What's your plan?

My plan? You mean to get back at Wheatley? ... [MAYBE THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PLAN]

I... don't know all the details yet, but maybe I'll show him what it's like to be killed, in a way! ...Can robots be killed? Can you kill little... [He circles the air with his index finger lazily, like he's trying to describe the shape of a core.] round robot eyes? Oh, maybe with fire!! Are you guys weak to fire?!

Okay, cool, I get it--makin' plans up on the go kinda' guy.

[As to his inquiries, Rick seems to completely not care that all of that can just as easily be applied to him.]

Don't really like fire, stuff kinda' burns but if you really wanna' get rid of the guy you should punch him into space. Punch that guy as hard as you can into space.

Did it once myself. Guess he didn't learn his lesson the first time 'round.

Punch him into space...? If you've done it, then enlighten me: how do you do that?! I don't even think the strongest man in the world can do that, let alone me! Is there a trick or something?!

Quantum space mechanic physics. Too complicated to explain but at just the right angle and with enough force and momentum, you'll rip a hole through space and time.

[He juts forward an inch on his rail for emphasis, as if making a 'punch'.] BAM!

Right through a hole into space itself.

[A beat.]

But even more important that that, you have to have a cool line prepared for when you do it. Come on, lay one on me--right now.

Uhhh, a line? Oh, oh! Yeah, I can do this! [He makes himself look tough, his eyebrows creasing and his broad smile turning into a sly smirk.]

"I hope you ordered a trip to the sun, because you're about to get served up scorching hot!!" [He quits that pose and looks eagerly to Rick.] Well?!

Yeah! That's the stuff!

[Oh my god this kid is a natural.]

Then you gotta' get him in a good set up for it, like with the sun in the background and some tumble weed blowin' by your feet.

[MORE LIKE NATURALLY AWFUL JESUS He grins wildly at the thought.]

Oh, man! Where can I get a set-up like that?! This sounds perfect- it's just my style!

[HOW DOES OUTSIDE APERTURE]

Probably ask Cave or Gladdy to get the lab boys to rustle up somethin'. Portals in the desert. Throw in a couple of explosions for effect. Everywhere.

Explosions?! All right!! That's awesome!! Can they really do that sort of thing?!

[He pauses.] Except. I don't think I know who Cave and Gladdy are?

Ol' Cave Johnson's the guy who runs the place. Aperture, that is. AND SOON THIS PLACE TOO.

Gladdy's the... well, she's pretty hard to miss if you head down to the computer labs.

[This is only going to end well.]

So they're both here, huh? Maybe I can try meeting them someday and tell them I know you!! Then, I can have that hot setup you're talking about and WHAM! [He punches the air.] Give that Wheatley guy what-for!

Teachin' Adventuring 101 once classes start back up or whatever.

That guy? Hidin' out in the library all the time 'cuz he's afraid of me, heh heh. I go wherever the rails take me. Nothin' but the sweet song of action and danger leadin' my way.

Are you forced to stay on these rails, though? Talk about restriction! Don't you ever want to go anywhere else?! How are you supposed to teach a class called Adventuring 101 if you can't even go beyond these rails, huh?!

[Rick seemed a little flustered, optic narrowed and darting around as if worried someone else might have overheard that comment.]
