Dorm Log: the millionth revenge

What: Dorm log! SUMMER BREAK EDITION!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Everything is acceptable.
When: The span of July 11 - July 22
Warnings: Imagine college, only with more super mushrooms-- WAIT NO lollipop drugs are the craze these days.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Keep in mind that starting the 17th, the school will progressively be inundated with flood waters.

[Looks like Jin's office was finally ready to move into, and his first entrance just so happened to be on one of those days where Samus was lagging behind. Unfortunately, the last thing he wanted the other frosty blonde to see him doing was jiggling the handle of his new office as vigorously as he was at that very moment. His brow furrowed, the metal clanging of the rusty lock echoing through the otherwise empty hallway.]

[So you know that scene in Jurassic Park...

Of course, her attention is caught and Jin looks everything suspicious, hunched over a door that probably wasn't even his own, for all she knew. Samus stared him down, than began to make very predatory, slow, scrutinizing steps towards the other blonde.]

Are you having trouble...

[Jin froze at the voice, gaze slowly drifting up to Samus' level, though he avoided eye contact due to frustration and embarrassment.]

... Yes.

[He focused again on the doorknob in front of him, speaking flatly.]

This is my office.

I can't get in.

[Samus grabbed his doorknob. Her eyes flit back to the offending knob and him, as if trying to assess his honesty.]

Do you not have a key? Or is it stuck?

[majorjealousy]

[Jin flushed.]

I have a key.

[He moved a hand to reveal said key sitting in the keyhole, giving it a few more angry shakes for good measure.]

[She'll give it a try, jiggling both the key and knob itself. Both seem frustratingly resistant.]

Someone gave you the wrong key.

[It could very well be many things, but this is what she concludes.]

Of course I do.

I should have known better than to take a key from a giant floating hand that wouldn't stop talking about oranges.

I won't argue that.

[A pause. Something of a considerate pause.]

...Do you need to get in?

[majorjealousy]

[He shakes his head.]

I don't need to. But, I like to set things up early.

[icequeen_aran]

[She grunts, then looks back and forth between him and the knob once again. After giving him a sidelong glance, she places her hand back on the knob and with a firm, quick yank... she rips it off of its hinges, then calmly deposits it in Jin's hand.]

You'll have an faster time getting Flint to fix that for you than you would getting your proper key.

[By the way, good luck with that one.]

[Oh. Oh, okay. He manages not to sputter as the superwoman rips a hole in his door, and accepts the knob.]

Flint. Right.

[Oh, and...]
