Well, no. It wasn't. In fact, it was rather cool and clear, a perfect October evening for the perfect October celebration. Stars winked above, the choice accompaniment to the orange moon looming overhead. Tonight. Tonight would be a party.



But just as the sun begins to set, the sound of cackling can be heard ringing through campus, the harbinger of what could only be described as Halloween Shenanigans.

Woe betide those that fell into her path.

Chell didn't know how it happened, but all of a sudden she was in a hallway, away from her bedroom. She didn't remember traveling here, but that's not what mattered. What mattered was that she couldn't feel or move her legs. She tried vehemently, attempting to force those neurons in her legs to cooperate, but there was nothing.

Then there were her arms. Gone. Unusable. No feeling there either. What she could feel was her face and torso, but they were different. Her proprioception told her that they now had a completely different shape, and... breathing. She wasn't breathing. She was still alive, could still probably talk if she had the desire to, but there was nothing. No smell, no taste, only sight and sound.

And she tried in vain to move, trying to feel where her arms and legs had gone until she realized that she had moved forward somehow. And she felt it too, something on her back that was enabling her to move, so she tried again, finding she could indeed travel on a fixed path.

Fixed path. She looked up. It was a rail.

...

It couldn't be. This was another nightmare, wasn't it? But as she glanced at a blurry reflection on a sheet of metal, she saw what she had become. Instead of screaming, she merely froze there once more, unable to even process this.

Mac was coming back on campus, tired and feeling good for the amount of candy he had gotten. Yes, he went trick or treating at twenty years of age. Yes, he was wearing a costume.

He would pass off as a teenage boy anyway with his height, sob.

He was about to pack it all up and enjoy the rest of his spooky night as he halted when he heard an odd cackling...More trick-or-treaters?

Mac tried to speak to whomever it was.

"...!"

H-huh?

"!"

Trying as hard as he might, no sound was coming out of his mouth. He wasn't getting sick, and even if he was something would come out of his mouth! But nothing! No sound! Oh god. Mac was freaking out now. Why could he talk??

Someone help! He wants to yell for help but he can't!

Baby Garry - November 1st - Actually, he's like 9 years old.

He had been reverted to a child and is now even, somehow, mentally reverted to that state as well.

Oddly he will remember this when it wears off.

A monster, ready to eat you up as it moved over you and your picture? A beast of the Night who was standing in front of you, hoping to devour you?

...Nope.

It was just a little boy of about six in his pajamas, standing in front of you. Unmoving, not saying anything. Just watching.

Child X (Six years old) - November 1st - 5th - All over Campus

It was weird. Did you normally wake up in a room with so much stuff that was too big for you? Like that big suit of armor, and all those clothes that couldn't fit him? And the big bed with the strange dolls (Something told X that he shouldn't touch them, so he left them alone)?

No. Probably not.

But woooooow, this place was so biiiig! There were so many doors and people walking around, and--oh man, was that a forest?! A big forest where monsters or a mean old witch could be in?!

It was.

Once X was done exploring the big building, he had to look there, too! Make sure there weren't mean witches trying to eat people, or climb in the trees and talk to the animals (and the trees, too...he knew someone who talked to trees, but he couldn't remember who it was for some reason).

Or he could save the people from the mean witches! And make the mean 'ol witches nice!

If you end up wandering the campus, you might notice this little boy, still in his sky-blue PJ's (Since those were the only clothes that shrunk with him).

What a coincidences, there was also another kid wearing nothing but pajamas- although this one seems to have them too big for much comfort.

X may find the child in question curling up in a empty hall, tear-stained face and clutching on a laptop.

Bulba is 5 years old from Oct. 31-November 7th.

He was teeny. He was tiny. He had entirely too much energy to burn. Bulba hadn't even started to get things ready for Halloween evening before he found himself two feet shorter and with much bigger spots. He couldn't even bring himself to really mind all that much. On Tiki Island, the changed Bulbasaur was happy because he wasn't dead. This time, the much tinier Bulbasaur was happy because that was just the way things were.

He wriggled out of his now Way Too Big sweater and tied it around his shoulders and ran off into the night with a fine wool cape. HE HAD LAPS TO CLIMB INTO AND PEOPLE TO BOTHER.

"Baaaaaaaa!"

Over the course of the week it was far more likely that you'd find him with it on, but probably not much else. Or maybe just the tiniest little ball of green plant things that ever zoomed around your ankles outside Vinnie.

Starting after sunset on Halloween, you may notice a strange man appearing around campus, wearing nothing but black and a jack-o-lantern on his head. He doesn't speak, and he doesn't mean to cause any trouble. In fact, it appears that all he wants to do is dance.

Unrelated (OR IS IT), Flint is nowhere to be found at all this week.

Garrett had been through a lot of weird stuff before, but suddenly reverting to half his age was a new one. As far as weird goes, though, this was remarkably tame. It wasn't long until he had the inexplicable urge to run around and cause as much trouble as possible. None of those dumb Hammers were around to catch him, and it would be more fun than sitting in a stuffy library translating dusty old books.

So hey, check out that apparently new student who just arrived. You know, the one who keeps filching food from the cafeteria, and vandalizing stuff, and reaching into your pocket to see if you have anything good on you. What a punk.

Given the enormous population of bipedal bovines on campus, it was a complete mystery as to who the little calf roaming around could possibly be.

Despite the weather getting colder, she spent most of her time outdoors, especially as the week wore on. The school building was an unnatural and terrifying thing, and she'd much rather have a tent. Not that she really had anything to set one up with.

A senegal parrot was with or near her at all times. Naturally.

Truly this bovine was the most mysterious of bovines.

Given that she was not the only one who had suddenly decided to completely ignore the great indoors, it was probably no great surprise that Kieran should find his way to Aquenda. Hope you and your pretty bird don't mind this knee-high deer thing suddenly trailing you. Don't mind him, he's just gonna do a little grazing.

Well, Mary didn't seem too much different. Besides being taller and more developed, of course. Even as an adult woman, she retained a look of sweet innocence on her face, and a beauty seemingly too perfect to be anything of this world.

Odds are, she hadn't matured much on an emotional level. This couldn't end well.

Sig was on his second day of his curse of being magic-swapped with Amitie. The first day ended with his poor room getting almost destroyed by Fire ball, and he was doing his best to keep the magic powers under control.

...He was trying to keep under control so hard that he was walking so rigidly. Concentration broke when his prized ladybug flew off from his head.

"Wait..." Sig called out to the ladybug, and as he ran past Mary, Amitie's magic triggered a Cyclone and made a strong gust of wind...

To flip Mary's skirt up.

After Halloween, the resident Hall Monitor was still pretty recognizable with his striking red eyes and clean white uniform. There was just... one thing...

Depending on when in the week one ran into him (or "her"), Ishimaru could be in a state of intense freakouts or having calmed down enough to at least bind his chest and go about bringing order and justice to the halls while he tried to figure things out.

That was one way to learn about typical Smash shenanigans.

Sig was on his third day of his curse... Where he finally realized he needed to avoid running into as many people as possible. And to achieve that...




He ran down the hallways as fast as he could.

Oct. 31 - Nov. 3

Hilda was not exactly lucky. She hadn't been in a costume or anything (well, she was raring to dress herself up like a gym leader but she ran into a witch before she had a chance), but starting on All Hallows' Eve she was mysteriously gone.

Just kidding. She was decked out in a mime outfit; stripey clothes, lame beret, make-up... And every time she tried to take it off or wash her face everything just suddenly re-appeared on her person.

So, mime on campus. She couldn't stop miming, horror of horrors. Sometimes she's pretending she's in a box, other times she's dragging herself around with an invisible rope, but either way it's a little hard to miss her.

Green had just finished self approving his excellent costume. A look in the mirror provided him all the evidence of awesomeness he needed. He walked over to his desk to grab his phone and wallet, and when he walked back in front of the mirror, he was a girl.

Without missing a beat, he began to remove his clothes. The costume didn't work any more, it just didn't. He needed a new one.

It was too bad that removing his costume meant he was going to be less punctual. There was a knock on the door from someone that was keeping to a schedule.

Her hair was all wrong though.

31st - 7th

There's another Bulbasaur of slightly different colouration, wow okay whatever.

Vinnie was supposed to catch up with the rest of his team after he finished making sure the Greenhouse had a bit of protection against potential pranksters. Nothing too fancy, just some trap panels he'd been traded. But halfway through this process, the Venusaur heard a passing cackle and... was no longer a Venusaur.

Being turned into a kid was well and fine while everyone was on vacation. He hadn't minded at all if it meant not being a Fire Type anymore. But this was Halloween, and Halloween meant weird stuff happened. Scary stuff.

Bulbasaur had to protect his family! Even if he was about two feet tall, he still had to do something. He needed help... Maybe mom?

Scurrying off and leaving his ronin costume behind, the speckled Saur ran off to find anyone who knew what was going on - and preferably could fix things.

At some point during the evening, Marie sent Vinnie a frantic text regarding the state of his sisters.

The plan was for Marie and Sasha to take Eifie trick-or-treating on campus and in the city, and later they'd meet up with Vinnie after he was finished looking over the greenhouse. Which was fine; Marie could handle that much. But somewhere along the way, Sasha was no longer a Charizard, and Eifie was no longer an Espeon. Instead, a Charmander and an Eeevee were in their place. The Wartortle, however, was seemingly unaffected by whatever curse his sisters had been afflicted by.

Marie allowed Vinnie an entire minute to respond to his text before he started to panic.

After putting out the fire that quickly became Sasha's halloween costume, Marie instructed Eifie to follow him carefully, and he carried Sasha back to campus in order to find Vinnie. Clearly he would be the grown-up and take care of all this, right?

31- 6th.

Eli didn't have any grand plans for Halloween. She didn't even have a costume picked out. There was no stupid dance to attend, and she sure as hell wasn't going to go trick-or-treating. Just like she had told Snake, Halloween was the same as any other day to her.

Her treat-it-as-any-other-day plans, however, were disrupted. When Eli realized she had shrunk about a foot and a half, and that her fangs were decidedly not as pointy.

And then she went on a rampage.

10/31 - Later Night - Tavern

And just like Snake had told Eli, he'd be at the bar. Drinking. From the bottle. The man wasn't particularly interested in celebrating, just as he'd told Samus and Max alike. And there was no need for him to chaperon anything, so evidently all of that talk about requiring all faculty members to be on watch was a bunch of bullshit.

Chin in the palm of his hand, the other hand grasping the bottle of JD, Snake was as close to Heaven as he was going to get.

Oct. 31 - Nov. 7 means babbys

Edgeworth was the direct opposite of a person with Halloween Spirit™, and as such he was working while everyone else was out dressing up in costumes and eating a lot of candy, or whatever. This made him a prime target for either 1) having his house T.P.ed or 2) a good cursin'. And since he wasn't at home for the time being that meant the witch currently witching about just found a nice bulls-eye.

Instead of Edgeworth, a doofy miniature version of him is in his place. And not really doing much in his office besides taking down all his stuffy old law books and reading them with the interest normal kids put into picture books. nerd alert nerd alert Maybe he's making grossed-out faces at the decor and why is his name all over everything, but as long as he's stuck in that office he's going to take advantage of his time. And maybe do other things that aren't read books meant for people twice his age during the week, but all bets should be on reading horrible boring case files.

While there was no doofy miniature version of Phoenix, there was a doofy younger version of Phoenix running around the school. And in the middle of trying to figure out why he had de-aged and woken up in Dahlia's sweater, he found little Edgeworth.

This was a problem. Huge problem.

Sig's magic abilities had now been switched with his dear friend, Amitie's, and he had no clue how to contain the magic powers. As the week progressed, he was able to gain more control over the powers but for the first few days, random fireball bursts from his hands or wind spells would happen every other minute, causing him to be somewhat of a dangerous weapon.

"A problem..." was all Sig could say to himself, though.

Yesterday had been a very important day for Marie, as she had finally gotten to go Trick-or-Treating after who knows how many years. It certainly had been fun...albeit tiring, but she didn't regret it in the least. She'd finished up early, so she changed into her maid outfit, got some cleaning done, and then proceed to pass out on her bed.

...when she awoke, there were a few things that were...off about her. The length of her limbs, for starters, confused her, her voice sounded older, and her hair was longer. Finally, as she was doing her rounds of cleaning, she got the guts to look in a mirror...

...and promptly screamed so hard it almost broke.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!?"

Anyone who wanders around the school within this time period is likely to find one (1) disgruntled little hedgehog. Why, he looks very similar to the truancy officer, doesn't he? In fact, he looks exactly like him, but he is far more stout, far more chubby, and far more silent.

Yes, that's right. Shadow has gone just a bit too classic era for his tastes, black-eyed and doe-eyed with only squeaks and shrieks and purrs and chirps to speak for. He can be seen searching for something that can reverse this, pouting and whining at just about anyone.

Sonic was just slipping out of his dorm for the evening, ready to take his blue butt to the forest while he was still safe to be around. He always gave himself breathing room before heading in just in case he should run across anything interruptive or out of the ordinary.

However, Sonic just left the dorms and went jogging along his usual path to the woods, Shadow unintentionally someone he didn't even notice. Focused sights kept him chugging onward, that commendable habit of always looking forward was being taken too literally. Shadow's smaller figure was a total oversight for someone trying to be the harm getting out of people's way instead of vice versa.

N's nights are going to prove to be sleepless for a time.

Every time he prepares for bed -- a nice, early bedtime -- he is greeted with a slowly-growing sound, much like repetitive, overlapping beeps of some kind, as well as something red glowing in the distance of his window. The light pours in, and what shows up at his window?



Jesus Christ, how horrifying.

At first, N acts receptively, opening the window and asking what the thing is, but immediately, it puts him into a hold. He can't move from his position at first, not without a struggle, and only when he is a small distance away from him does he manage to gather the strength to run. The nights following, he doesn't act so nice to the thing, whatever it is. All he knows is to run, for the feeling that creature gives him is... indescribable. Unsettling.

Guess what?

Anyone who encounters N will have one of those things chasing them, as well, but only for the entirety of the night. For N, however, the thing wants him for a full week.

Dare you try to help your friend here, or will you, too, succumb to...

Silent Mac was out and about, he had to find some way to get his voice back!

This was terrible, and Mac wasn't too overly good with charades. He was having a dreadful time.

When he noticed N, he saw that he was in a frenzy. Oh no! Him too? Mac, voice or no voice, he had to help...somehow. He can't let this get in the way of him doing what he would do normally. At least he'd TRY.

So here he was trying to go to comfort N...silently. Slenderman is silent so this makes things so much worse.

Dude, what was wrong?...He wished he could say that so all he can do until N would figure it out was show concern.

October 31st and then the rest of the week!

Wheatley rebooted.

Which was in itself a problem, because he didn't recall being shut down, and certainly didn't remember this as the last place he was. The second thing he noticed was that he was not attached to a rail, and promptly fell to the ground as a result.

The sheer amount of sensory input that flooded his system was very nearly overwhelming, and he would have cried out in surprise had his vocal processor worked the way it was supposed to (and it did not, for some reason). Those factors alone were enough to careen him into blind panic, only exacerbated by the fact that he'd been installed with some kind of ventilation system, to say nothing of the pair of human hands that moved when he told them to.

It didn't take him very long after that to discover exactly whose body he'd apparently been transplanted to.

Not knowing the first thing about operating a human body (much less somebody else's human body), he tried to swallow down pure, unadulterated horror and get the situation under control. It would be a good idea, he thought, to learn to stand.

[OOC: YES OKAY it is Wheatley in Chell's body shenanigans. He'll sort of be progressively better at being a peoples as the week goes on, but mostly he will just be falling all over himself.]

Unbeknownst to Scout, he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He had never met or seen Chell prior to today, and so this first impression would have to be positive, else he wouldn't bother interacting with her again.

Oh, who are we kidding? Chell's a woman. Of course Scout'll interact with her again!

He turned the corner, unsure as to what would be there to greet him, though he didn't really think it'd be anything bad or strange. So when he spotted a woman struggling to stand, he cocked his head to the side just a bit in puzzlement, then, when he realized she might be in trouble, rushed forward, hand ready to grab her arm and help her up.]

Oct 31 and on - young!Phoenix

Phoenix was twenty-seven years old. There wasn't really a sizable difference between 27 and 21, but for Phoenix it was a world of a difference. In that span between his college years and his first court case, he matured incredibly and developed some cynicism as well. But all that had now been thrown out the window.

Maybe the younger Phoenix still knew what he knew now, but his mind was more flighty now, more hormonal, more... annoying. He was more talkative, ready to react to anything with strong, raging emotions.

So when he looked in his mirror and saw that he was wearing that sweater that "Dahlia" had stitched for him (which he still had, but he kept it tucked far, far away), he ended up shrieking. He looked younger too; fewer stress lines on his face, his eyes brighter with youth. So he ran out into the hallway wondering WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON????

Nov 3rd

Passing nearby was Amitie, oh wait! She remembers meeting this man once or two, he looks a bit different. Cool sweater too, no really- it's awesome.

"Hiiya again!" She said although accidentally unleashing Sig's Celestial, which cause several bursts of light appearing in the ceiling, even before she had raised her hand to wave. Gosh darn it, she was having the blue-haired boy's powers longer than just a few days isn't she.

Milimili the Shuppet - 10/31 to 11/7

It was Milimili's Ultimate Plan to scare the living daylights out of anyone she happened upon on Halloween night. Though one could cast the Banette aside as a pushover, Milimili sincerely meant it. If she could help it, she was going to go all the way with this one: on her agenda was to lay curses upon anyone she could find. In short, she was not going to be nice about it.

Well, that's what she was going to do. Unfortunately, Milimili's merciless curses weren't to be distributed around the school (probably for the good of everyone), but this cackling witch cursed everyone all the same. As she idly spent her time ghosting about the halls, she felt herself become feverish and... and... She remembered this feeling. It was like evolving! How could she evolve like this? It didn't make sense, but the ghost noticed something odd. She had no more arms to speak of. Milimili knew it: she had turned back into a Shuppet. How could that be possible? At first, she shrieked. She didn't know what to do about this curious situation. Upset as she was, she had to try to keep her cool.

Maybe nobody would recognize her like this. Or would they? For the following days, a Shuppet can be found on the campus or around the city doing any number of things, but being up to no good is one of her most frequented activities. She is up and about 24/7, so don't worry about catching her when she should be sleeping.

Apple Kid - Oct. 31 - Nov. 7

Somehow, Bowser had went to sleep a regular guy and woke up a three-foot-tall baby Bowser.

As Kamek was gone, there was nobody to watch over him.

This meant he could do whatever the hell he wanted to.

He's already eaten five bags of Yoshi cookies.

He's also running around being a dick to everyone. It's good times.

He's fond of graffiti as well. It's super good times.

Maximilian Justice Powers - 13 Years of Age - Oct. 31 - Nov. 7

Max had been walking to the gym when he heard a funny sound. The next thing he knew, he was younger. And shorter (and by shorter I mean 5'11" which is absurdly tall for a 13-year-old, but still). And smaller. 13 was right before he hit third puberty.

13 was when Max was sort of a jerk who thought he was too badass for your problems. 13 was when Max spent several hours a day in applying an ever-changing array of temporary tattoos. 13 was when Max wore patched up Swiss Army pants, rings on his fingers, a wallet-chain, and studded-leather wrist-bands.

Max felt... angry at things for no specific reason. Part of him was a little bit angry that he didn't have his muscles, but he wasn't even focusing on that, which for Max was just... strange. Normally he should have been obsessing over that. But right now? Right now he was just angry at the world.
