It was a dark and stormy night--
Well, no. It wasn't. In fact, it was rather cool and clear, a perfect October evening for the perfect October celebration. Stars winked above, the choice accompaniment to the orange moon looming overhead. Tonight. Tonight would be a party.
But just as the sun begins to set, the sound of cackling can be heard ringing through campus, the harbinger of what could only be described as Halloween Shenanigans.
Woe betide those that fell into her path.

"We're in-- er..." Wait. He knew where they were, didn't he? "Uh... I... have on idea where we are..." His voice gradually got quieter as he finally realized his lack of knowledge.
It didn't occur to him that Edgeworth might fear being abducted, because that didn't matter. He was obviously Phoenix Wright and this little kid was either Edgeworth or some imposter.
