It was a dark and stormy night--

Well, no. It wasn't. In fact, it was rather cool and clear, a perfect October evening for the perfect October celebration. Stars winked above, the choice accompaniment to the orange moon looming overhead. Tonight. Tonight would be a party.



But just as the sun begins to set, the sound of cackling can be heard ringing through campus, the harbinger of what could only be described as Halloween Shenanigans.

Woe betide those that fell into her path.

Blue's punctual knock was answered by a girl wearing all parts of a Matt costume except the pants. She stood in the doorway with a general look of annoyance on her face.

Blue stared.

At first she looked surprised, but then her expression slowly crumbled into a look of annoyance that mirrored Green's. Not that she immediately recognized Green for who he was, mind you. This was just a girl with Green's clothes on (MINUS THE PANTS) answering Green's door on an evening when they were supposed to be getting a drink or something before partying with their teams and...

She frowned and glanced off down the hall. "I guess I should learn to call ahead. Excuse me."

A worried look passed over the girl's features, but she raised an impudent eyebrow anyways, putting on a brassy face.

"You look great," she sighed, voice foreign and familiar all at once, "We'd have been a kickass duo. Sorry I had to let you down. As if it was my fault."

That got Blue's head back up, glancing back at the girl with a look of obvious confusion. As much as she didn't know this voice, it was also one that she had done for a very long time.

Her brows furrowed, and her voice was clearly unsure as she quietly spoke back up.

"... Green?"

Green smiled at her shaky recognition, and placed a hand on her boxer-clad hips, giving them a little shake.

"I went all out on my costume this year," she responded wryly.

"Oh my god I thought you were just..." Well. They both knew what she thought. She might have looked just a little flustered there.

Blue shook her head and looked Green up and down. "I mean it's impressive but.... how... what?"

Green waved her hand dismissively.

"Just chalk it up to the raison d'etre of the school. It exists to fuck with people. Knowing this place, I'll have my dick back in a week."

She blinked.

"You thought I was gonna blow you off for a quickie."

"Ah.... I'm... Uh. Glad to see you taking it well enough then...?"

Were her boobs bigger than hers. Hrm.

She pursed her lips very slightly at his last statement. "I'll just take it as unintentional payback for your run-in with Jock," she chose to reply.

Just keep checkin' out those boobs, Blue. Your new costume could be a federal body inspector.

"Yeah, I owe him for that. As if the big galoot could ever feel any shame. Besides. Like I, uh, would do that. We made a plan."

She crossed her arms.

You'd like the pat down part, wouldn't you.

"And it looks like it's changed," Blue remarked softly. It had been one of the things she had admittedly been looking forward to. Now Blue just cocked her head and made a vague motion towards Green's... Everything.

"Do you need anything? I don't suppose you keep yourself prepared for onslaughts of personal estrogen."

Green shot a wide smile towards Blue.

"Are you offering to let me borrow your clothes?"

"I'd probably be a horrible person if I didn't."

Blue gave his hips a scrutinizing glance, lifting her hands to try and make comparisons. "I think they should fit okay... They might be a bit short on you though."

Though shirts.... shirts.... Green had enough shirts. He didn't need shirts.

Green's face fell.

"By they, you don't mean skirts... do you?"

"But you'd look completely fetching in one," Blue smirked.

"The last thing I need is the October breeze tickling the backs of my thighs. Absolutely not."

Blue laughed.

"I do actually own pants, you know."

The other brunette tilted her head.

"I can't remember the last time I've seen you wear pants... Excluding right now."

"You've also only been seeing me frequently again for a matter of months."

Green pouted.

"Okay, okay. Are we just gonna stand around being smartasses for the rest of the night, or are we gonna get me something to cover my ass up?"

Blue stuck out her tongue.

"Do you feel like walking around in your underpants, or should I save your modesty and go get you something? You'll have to trust me though."

"Ah, yeah. My girlish modesty."

She shrugged.

"Despite how much I don't trust you, I trust you. Hurry back."
