It was a dark and stormy night--
Well, no. It wasn't. In fact, it was rather cool and clear, a perfect October evening for the perfect October celebration. Stars winked above, the choice accompaniment to the orange moon looming overhead. Tonight. Tonight would be a party.
But just as the sun begins to set, the sound of cackling can be heard ringing through campus, the harbinger of what could only be described as Halloween Shenanigans.
Woe betide those that fell into her path.

Sure, he'd been distracted by other people, and he'd hated leaving them, but his curiosity had gotten the best of him.
...Though all thoughts of exploration flew the coop when he saw that tear-stained face.
His core wrenched at the sight.
"Hey."
Sitting down, putting a hand on the other kid's shoulder and talking softly felt right.
"What's wrong?"

Chihiro still remembers that she's no longer a child- it's rather that being reduce to this age, it's harder to keep emotions in check than usual however. Frustrated and confusion were mostly what the now-elementary aged hacker felt for several hours since the curse sprung upped.
Thinking maybe there might be some weird science or anything, it was why Chihiro was lugging around a laptop and intended to look for a computer lab or anything- but being back to this age, far more feeble and weaker, it exhaust her and it was frustrating when she ended up getting lost.

But more importantly...
Lost?! That was no good! Humans didn't have anything like a built-in GPS or an internet connection to know where they were, so it was real trouble when they were lost!
...thought the young 'bot who was lost in a storage closet for two hours. But that was beside the point.
He gave the poor kid what he hoped was a reassuring smile. "Um...where were you headin' to? I can help you find it."
