Warnings: This log is yellow-taped with all kinds of potential warnings. If your filthy imagination can conjure it, this log can produce it.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's how this works. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. Feel like drawing graffiti on Professor Jin's door? Apologizing for the aftermath of the latest cupidbot fiasco? Doing each others' hair and talking about boys? Giving your trusted(?!?) friends a free ride in the dryer? [ Chiyo was wandering around, trying to get used to walking with human legs, when she saw the familiar cap of red. Gasping in surprise, she quickly moved as best she could behind the nearest tree to get a better look at the young lad.

It's Red.... she thought to herself as she recognized him, eyes widening in excitement. Should she go up to him? One of the biggest reasons she took the TM to become a human was to be able to talk to him in the same language. He's also the nicest human she's met since coming here, so it made learning to humanize less of a horrible idea. ]

Ah...

[ She clamped her mouth shut and turned red. What if approaching him as a human was a bad idea? Last time, she was a Pokemon when they met. Maybe he wouldn't like her as a human. Maybe approaching him as a Pokemon would be the best way to go. Chiyo couldn't help but to overwhelm herself with negativity. She really didn't want to make any bad impressions with Red, but she really wanted to show him her human form, her recent achievement, and have a proper conversation with him.

She shook her head in an attempt to shake away the negativity. No, no... Red is a nice person.... she tried to reassure herself as she took slow, anxious steps towards Red. Unconsciously bringing up one hand to her chest in insecurity, she drew in a shaky breath as she stopped behind the bench he was seated on. ]

H-Hello Red....

[ Her heart starting beating faster in nervousness as she wondered how he would receive her. And she trembled from the tip of her fin-like ears to the tip of her tail. ]

I'm the... the vaporeon from the other day.... My name is Chiyo.

[Blushing, Chiyo nodded meekly.]

Yes... [she said softly with an equally soft smile. He didn't seem surprised by her transformation, which confirmed the fact that Pokemon learning to transform into humans was common on campus.] A-Actually... the d-day we met was my first day at school. I-I was just... really lost and scared. Oh, but! I'm, I'm not lost so much anymore! ...j-just still a bit scared, though.

[She remained standing in her spot, feeling a little bit awkward and wondering if she could come closer or not. She was still too nervous and shy to ask if sitting next to him was okay, too.]

[ Chiyo nodded eagerly, unable to stop a smile from spreading on her lips. ]

Yes.

[ She quickly padded on over and, though a tad bit nervous, plopped herself down onto the bench beside him. She did her best to keep her posture perfect with her back straight, legs together with her feet planted firmly on the ground, and her hands on her lap. Humming a bit, she racked her brain for something to say but couldn't come up with anything she deemed remarkably interesting.

I hope... I don't seem boring to him. she thought, and curiously glanced over at him. ]

Um... Have you... Have you been well? [ Perhaps starting with something simple and polite would be best. At least, she certainly hoped so. She did wonder how he had been since they last met. ]

I'm doing well!

[ Chiyo smiled bashfully, feeling happy at his compliment and to have an ongoing conversation with him. ]

I-I met some really nice people and, and they helped me feel more at home here. I'm... really glad I came here.

Ah.... [ Chiyo recalled the way their last meeting ended and could understand why he would be worried. She looked down for a moment, feeling embarrassed and regretful for having to make him worry and for troubling him. ]

I-I'm... really sorry. About last time.... [ She turned red again, reflecting back on her behavior at the time where she moped. ] I was depressing... It must've t-troubled you. So sorry....

[ She paused momentarily, before recalling something and looking back up at him again, making sure to make eye contact with him. ]

B-But, if it wasn't for you, I don't think I could be as relaxed as I am now! R-Really, thank you... for being so kind.

Really...?

[ Chiyo was relieved to hear that and almost couldn't believe him when he said that. She felt happy, nevertheless, that he would consider fun company to have and even lightened up at the mention of the book. She couldn't stop herself from smiling as she recalled all the details of the maps and the time spent going through it with Red. ]

I did. I really love books. [ She smiled happily. ] I especially... l-love having someone to read with. T-Thank you. For sharing your book with me....

Oh, uh... [ Chiyo grew embarrassed from the question. She hadn't been inside it per se, but she did stalk the outside of it, hoping to get another reading session with the trainer again. Not that she was going to admit that part. Ever. ]

N-Not yet. I was, um, h-hoping we could go t-together? If, uh... that's okay with you... or n-never mind. If you don't want to....

[ Now she was just beating herself up and feeling silly. Waiting for his answer was kind of scary, but she really hoped he'd say yes. But even that was kind of scary, too. ]

Yes! [ Chiyo said quickly and brimming with excitement, suddenly leaning in close to Red. But then froze, realizing how brazen she'd gotten. She quickly moved away and stood up, clearing her throat. ]

U-Um. I m-mean. Yes, please. I'd... I'd really love to! Can we really go now?

[ She almost couldn't hold herself back from running on ahead to the library and eagerly looked at him. She had been looking forward to this moment for a while. ]

[ She nodded energetically. She just couldn't find it in herself to enter that library alone, not without him. Her first journey into it had to be with Red and no one else. It just didn't feel right otherwise. ]

I'm really excited. I can't wait to go in! There must be so many books, I wonder if I'll have enough time to read them all!

[ She paused, wondering if it'd be okay to ask, and gathered up her courage-]

Um. C-Can you... W-Will you read another book with me? E-Even though you don't do it often.... so I'll understand if you don't want to.

[ Chiyo smiled brightly, definitely relieved at his reply, and gave a small cheer. ]

R-Really?? Thank you! Now I really can't wait to go even more! [ She hummed and her steps picked up a merry bounce in them. Then... at his last remark: ]

Oh! Th... That'd probably be true. [ She had forgotten that silence was practically golden in libraries and a general rule of courtesy there. She was just so excited to be going into a treasure grove of books that she overlooked many details. Biting her lip for a moment, she quickly reprimanded herself mentally and made a note to remember to be on her best behavior there. It wouldn't do if she were to find herself exiled from such a place; it'd be a darn shame and heartbreak, for whatever would she do if she couldn't even get to read one of those lovely books! She'd surely cry!

Oh, but, he did just say she could pick one to take out for reading. That got her spirit all the more cheery. ]

I'll be sure to be good! But, but... ah... however will I be able to pick one book to start with?" [ As she pondered this, she glanced at Red and a question popped up in her mind. ]
