Warnings: I wrote 'hijinks'. That should explain everything.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Slumber party in the common room! Build a wall outside your best or worst friend's room from whatever garbage you find lying around to prevent them from escaping the confines of their dorm! Gather around the TV for some late night movie action! Kidnap a princess or two! Break down some unfortunate walls! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Cyrus and Rhys Have Temporary Roomate Adventures

It had been over two weeks since Cyrus had returned from that shadowy world, and since Rhys had come to stay with him. He was able to walk unsupported now--he had, oddly, suffered from muscle atrophy despite remaining in motion in that other world. He could handle light normally. He was able to perform his daily tasks. But his communication was still disturbed.

Right now he was on the couch, reading one of his ancient tomes, a work of myth, and chattering to himself. "To take the hand of that which erases, yes, perhaps practical. We must all aspire to do so, yet it must be examined. To reflect the face of that which erases, impractical of course. We have to remain cautious..."

Weavile sat next to him, muching on a sugar cube. Usually Cyrus didn't permit sugar in his living quarters, but he'd approved it until Rhys was able to adjust to the usual repast.

A handful of days ago, Rhys had packed up and quit living in Cyrus's quarters, arriving at the verdict that the other man was well on his way to recovery and did not need his constant monitoring any longer. However, he dropped in periodically for a daily checkup, since there was still enough wiggle room for concern over his health.

He'd been here for several minutes already, doing his regular rounds of caretaking before settling down. It was a little unnerving to observe him jabbering profoundly to the pages of his book, and made way for an awkward unspoken feeling to settle over Rhys. Maybe he should... pull him out of it? "Um, I don't mean to interrupt, but... have you eaten anything yet today?"

Mac is alone in his room

[Yup, he's roomieless. And he's not feeling the best but he's punching punching bags and still trying to heal. But the thought of the murders and Caim are swirling in his head.]

As usual, Blacky could be found in a variety of places well after the sun reach its zenith. January's short days left her ample time to be active, and January's anniversaries gave her even more opportunity to be full of angst and self-pity. Given her track record, that was going to be a lot of gloominess.

The odd thing was that instead of her usual sullen self, she seemed to be perfectly fine and well-adjusted as she went about her day. Night. Whatever.

Green just so happened to be speaking in hushed tones on the phone in one of the more empty hallways in the early evening. Chances of bumping into any variety of ghost was high.

The rec room in the teacher housing was nearly identical, but the student dorm was still under the umbrella of "unfamiliar". Seeing a Lucario is a bit unsettling, with its special powers, but he keeps walking forward, hoping to find an interesting book on the shelves.]

For a while, Marie didn't bother to leave his room. But Slippy was there, so Marie took to finding places around the school where no one could find him. After a good deal of avoiding everyone, the bitty Squirtle toddled into his trainer's room one afternoon. He clumsily helped himself onto Red's bed and tucked himself into his little shell.]

On a typical day Byrne could be found either in his room training, resting, relaxing, meditating, masturbating, in the shower, or what have you. Or he could be found in the gym area, working out or training. Or he could be found in the woods off by himself, training or meditating. He has a short list of priorities in his life, okay?

Or, on a lucky day, you might catch him in the city, doing necessary things like buying some extra screws for his gauntlet or maybe even buying groceries (and booze). Who knows. He usually keeps his trips to the city rather short, though.

Though he'd been told to experience unfamiliar things and push himself out of his comfort zone, Cyrus still sought solitude. No, not solitude, he knew, not truly. There was still life around him, still things to hear and see and react to. That empty world was nothing like the world he'd always known, or the world he would create.

The living forest, yes, that was a perfect opportunity to reconnect with the world he'd clung to and cursed.

He wandered with Weavile at his side, the weasel cutting away some brush and occasionally grabbing a low-lying berry or bug to snack on.

Phoenix - Library, Dorm, City, etc.

Phoenix still hadn't calmed down about the whole murder situation. Even if there hadn't been a new human victim in a while, the cases were still unsolved and he couldn't rest until something was done. This was something that happened where he was living. It wasn't like it was a random murder in Borginia or something - no, this involved him in some obtuse way.

So, Phoenix was often found in his room going over his notes about the evidence he and Ema had collected. However, one could only do so much of that, so he was also found relaxing sometimes playing World of Warlords. Or he was in the library studying up to make his political science curriculum, or generally researching things like Pokemon to get a better idea of the species in this school.

Or he was out in the city doing grocery shopping and such.

[Kyogre, who was last seen on the journal network on an absolute warpath, seems to have all but forgotten his smoldering anger at the insistence of his green brother. If one was looking for the Ancient Literature teacher, they could find him anywhere from the library, to his office, to the pool, or maybe even here, at his dorm. If you come looking for him at his place of residence, through the door you will most likely hear running water accompanied by music turned all the way up. You may also hear a familiar voice singing along to whatever song happens to be playing in a variety of languages. Always with the rush of running faucet water.]

[Here's the thing: only idiots had their office completely plain sight and accessible. That's how you get assassinated. This office? An empty decoy.

But it wouldn't be a very good decoy if no one got the impression it was ever used. On days where Majima was feeling too lazy to go back to his proper office in FDC, or was trying to avoid work, he could be found mulling about in his on-campus dorm.

Majima travels back and forth between the school and city pretty often, but so far the places he frequents in FDC are secrets to but a few.]
