DORM LOG GET IN HERE EVERYONE

Warnings: I wrote 'hijinks'. That should explain everything.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Slumber party in the common room! Build a wall outside your best or worst friend's room from whatever garbage you find lying around to prevent them from escaping the confines of their dorm! Gather around the TV for some late night movie action! Kidnap a princess or two! Break down some unfortunate walls! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

[There was a chuckling sound. Nothing to worry about then. Bulba settled down, resting his chin on Green's thigh to watch some of the footage.]

[He watched the screen in silence for a few more moments before pointing out a painfully young trainer sending out a painfully young Bulbasaur against his opponent's Rattata.]

Look.

[rivalsweetscent]

[Bulba lifted his head slightly in interest. As eager to please as the little Bulbasaur seemed, Bulba could see under the thin mask of determination it was wearing. It wasn't used to this yet, and there was a bit of apprehension in its steps. It was a bit like looking into a window of the past of their earliest days.]

Vyy.

[rivalappeared]

[The Rattata barked at the Bulbasaur, and dashed forward in preparation for a Quick Attack. The Bulbasaur clumsily employed its vines to grab the purple rodent.]

Gramps says young trainers still are most likely to pick Bulbasaurs.

[It had the right idea. The Rattata would best it in speed even without the Quick Attack, but if it could immobilize the rodent and prevent the attack... If it could follow through on its execution, it had a good chance.

Bulba glanced up at Green, vaguely surprised that this was still the case.]

Compared to Squirtles and Charmanders, Bulbasaurs are the most agreeable. Young kids like 'em.

[Think about the examples, Bulba. You versus Char, Sasha, Blast, Marie. Uh. Vinnie? Okay that one didn't count.]

[It was true enough, when you weren't Vinnie. Then again, Vinnie was a much different person when he was a Bulbasaur. Certainly a handful, but young trainers out to prove themselves seemed to love a challenge. At that thought, Bulba poked Green's cheek lightly with a vine.

If things had gone differently... would the spunky Green have sprung for that sort of chance?]

[Green glanced over at the vine poking him.]

Hm? Me? I honestly can't imagine it any other way. If I got a Squirtle, I might've gotten Marie.

[He shuddered at the thought.]

If I got a Charmander, I probably would have burned down Viridian Forest. No, Bulbasaur was definitely the right way to go. Besides.

[Another scratch behind the ears.]

How could I have gone with any other Pokemon after hatching one like you?

[Bulba gave another amused snort. Those were both terrible fates indeed. He still couldn't help the little burst of warmth that blossomed in his chest at the passing comment, despite how silly he felt for it. It was common sense, anyone else might say.

He still gave Green's fingers an affectionate lick.]

Saurrr vysaur.

[Clearly he would have been completely lost without him.]

[A laugh.]

I think the team worked out pretty well, don't you?

[The Ivysaur gave a very affirmative nod. They had certainly had their downs and their spats and the like, but the ups far outweighed the rest. As much as he might have started off wanting it to just be Green and him forever, Bulba wouldn't ever give up the team now.

He set his head back down, looking back at the very little Bulbasaur that was sending a tackle towards the Rattata.]

[Green went back to watching, too.]

That was actually a good hit.

Vy!

[He sounded pretty happy about it too. It was good seeing the little guy do well.]

[rivalappeared]

[Yeah. It was. The match ended with a victorious Bulbasaur. The trainer swooped the little Pokemon up into his arms, giving it a tight hug.]

... We should give Gramps a visit at some point.

[rivalsweetscent]

[Aww, how cute. It was a win that would do them both a wonder for their confidence. There was a very, very tiny part of him that was just a bit jealous of the open hug. Not enough to spoil his mood any. There was actually a little increase in the sweetness of the room in his light spirits.

Bulba lift his eyes up towards him again and nodded once more. It had been a little while since they had gone to visit. That'd be good.]

[On the same wavelength as his Pokemon, Green pulled the Ivysaur into his lap, continuing the petting.]

I know you miss Daisy's back rubs. She's dying to see you, anyways.

[Oh god oh man yes. Bulba took care around Green's computer, but more or less took this as an a-okay to snuggle up a bit more. The light rumbling beneath Green's fingertips were almost a constant, as if he were actually training a large green cat instead of an Ivysaur.

Daisy's back rubs... Yeah, he missed those. He could definitely go for one right about now. Bulba nudged his head against Green's chest. Maybe they should go sometime soon. The holidays had happened, after all. And it was at least a little warmer over there right now...]

[Green kept it up, because obviously Bulba was enjoying the attention.]

Yeah... we should go at some point soon... Once we get everyone together.

[rivalsweetscent]

[Oh yes where did you ever get that idea.]

Saurr!

[This was a very excellent idea and Bulba approved wholeheartedly.]

[rivalappeared]

[Wait was that a poffin. In Green's hand.]

Good. Glad you approve.

[rivalsweetscent]

[WHAT MAGIC WAS THIS. Sniffsniffsniff that was the smell of Bulba's impending fatty status.]

Vyyy.

[rivalappeared]

[MY IVYSAUR CAN BE THE FATTEST IVYSAUR IT'S OK. He forks it over.]

[FATTYSAUR RIDES AGAIN. Bulba very happily munched on it between his claws. Nomnomnomnomnom. You were too good to him, Green.]

[Overall it was good times in the Green dorms.]

[Awww yeah. Bulba finished his poffin and licked his chops, snuffling around to make sure he had got all the crumbs. Once that was taken care of he gave Green a sunny smile of thanks. Green you're a poop let's make out.]
