DORM LOG GET IN HERE EVERYONE

Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond. Whatever happens happens, bro!
When: January 13 - January 31
Warnings: I wrote 'hijinks'. That should explain everything.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Slumber party in the common room! Build a wall outside your best or worst friend's room from whatever garbage you find lying around to prevent them from escaping the confines of their dorm! Gather around the TV for some late night movie action! Kidnap a princess or two! Break down some unfortunate walls! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

[She noticed. The initial tone, the shift. Vianca slipped her fingers a bit more, unsure if she wanted to actually voice her thoughts. It was still a strange experience for her. It was much easier to remain silent.]

I like being lost in it.

[She paused, looking back up at Eli.]

Where? [Because Eli had been going somewhere.]

[Eli still hadn't quite looked right at Vianca yet. At the moment she was somewhat hypnotized by her little, pale fingers gliding across the book she held. But when she answered she slightly cocked her head in Vianca's direction.]

I'm training at some place in the city. It'll be warmer inside and no one will bother you.

[vianca]

[Training. Eli was a pokemon, Vianca reminded herself. Even if she hadn't been, this school was what it was. Training made sense. Following the snake all the way into the city when she could just as easily travel the much shorter distance back into the school did not. But at the moment she was keeping still, and there was more warmth in moving. It didn't make sense, following someone she didn't know very well to a place in the city that she had probably never been. And yet she realized with a skip of her heart that she was agreeing, nodding her head gently as the word left her mouth.]

Okay.

[She didn't make it apparent in the slightest, but Eli was incredibly pleased with Vianca's answer. Only the slightest smile briefly crossed her face as she helped herself up. She grabbed her bag and held her hand out for the Pikmin.]

[vianca]

[Vianca hesitated for just a moment before she placed her hand in Eli's, wrapping small fingers around the other girl's palm as she stood up. She tucked her book under her arm and gave the cushion a look. It'd be fine if she left it there for now. She gave Eli another nod, her hand still in hers, indicating that she should lead the way.]

[So she did lead the way. As long as Vianca kept her hand in Eli's, Eli kept her hand around Vianca's. Admittedly the experience felt a little awkward at first, but there was nothing powerful about feeling self-conscious.

She lead Vianca silently. Just a little bit of observing would reveal that the Pikmin wasn't that much of a talker.

And eventually they got to the place they were going to. Nothing weird here, just an abandoned battle center. Into the men's bathroom. Into a stall with an "OUT OF ORDER" sign on it. Through a door in that stall and down some stairs. A nicely kept fighting ring and no one inside. Aren't you glad you came along, Vianca?]

[Vianca stared up at the place before they went in. This was an odd place to be...

Odder still was the men's bathroom. Vianca's brow furrowed slightly. Into the stall. Through the door. The silence of emptiness. Vianca didn't know what she had been expecting, but this wasn't it. She peered around the wide open room with scrutiny, taking in every detail.]

This is where you train?

[hissyfit]

I know the guy who runs it.

[She hesitates but eventually lets go of Vianca's hand.]

No one bothers me here. [Usually.] I don't like sharing the stadium at school.

[vianca]

[There was the very briefest feeling of disappointment as Vianca drew her hand to her book, giving another nod. She understood the desire to be left alone. It surprised her that Eli would have invited her along, but she supposed it was because Vianca was only a partial existence.]

[receiveyou]

[And then.

That voice. The one that haunts your sexiest dreams, Eli.]

Sooo, yer back~!

[hissyfit]

[NOOOOOOOO.]

Oh, fuck.

I didn't think you'd be here.

[receiveyou]

'Course I'd be here. I own this place.

[A matter-of-fact shrug. Why were you so surprised? But with that, his grin faded as Majima's eye moved to Vianca.]

Who's yer frrriend?

[vianca]

[Vianca stared at this man who had so suddenly appeared. The owner. What a unique voice he had. She held her book against her stomach, giving him a small nod of greeting. Suddenly she was much more silent again.]

[hissyfit]

[Eli gave Vianca an almost-worried glance. And shot an angry glare at Majima. Always angry.]

I know her from school.

[receiveyou]

[Surprisingly, Majima's voice remained level. Perhaps it was the utter veil of silence hanging around the smaller girl that kept him from going off his rocker. His gaze was serious as he stared down the two of them.]

That rrright? What's her name?

[vianca]

[There was just more and more staring as Vianca took in all of Majima's details as intricately as she had started to do with the room.]

Vianca.

[receiveyou]

[Vianca. So, this was the girl Ai had mentioned during their little talk. The flower bud in her hair should've been enough of an indication.

Calmly, he crouched down so he was at her eye level. It was actually a little unsettling how... normal he was acting.]

Ya must be Ai's friend, eh?

Well, welcome to my li'l secret arena. It's supposed to be a surrrprise, so don't tell no one 'bout it yet, okay?

[vianca]

{This just made Vianca seem to stare at him a little harder, because it was that much more important that she knew who was mentioning Ai.]

My sister.

[But she nodded. Secrets were often safe with her.]

[hissyfit]

[Indeed, it was incredibly unsettling how normal he was acting. All that aside, though, Eli gave Vianca a look.]

I didn't know you had a sister.

[vianca]

[Very briefly, Vianca glanced at Eli and nodded. She had a big family actually, if you got right down to it. But she wasn't getting down to it right now.]

[receiveyou]

[Good to know. Majima stood back up to full height again, a bit of flourish returning to his voice.]

Gotcha~

Come inside then. If yer here to watch her train, I can brrring ya up some arenaside seatin'.

[He shot Eli a look that read, You and I are gonna have a talk later, before turning around to lead the two of them into the heart of his stadium.]

[Oh good. A talk.

She felt a little guilty, bringing Vianca along with promises that she wouldn't be bothered. To Eli's defense, though, she had been in and out of the center recently with few interruptions.

She was half-tempted to take Vianca's hand again, but she had an idea of what the result of that would be with Majima around. And that idea sort of made her want to die instead. So she followed Majima with her hands at her sides and glanced back at the Pikmin about a dozen times. To Majima,]

I thought you were busy.

[receiveyou]

[Majima didn't turn around to respond.]

I'm always busy. That's when having a few hundred followers comes in handy.

[They arrived at the stadium stage without much fanfare, but with a single snap of the patriarch's fingers, a dozen men came filing into the ringside. He hardly looked at them either while snapping orders.]

Ya know the drill already. An' get the li'l miss over here a table, and a drrrink if she wants one.

[vianca]

[Vianca had followed behind dutifully, falling into line as instinct dictated. When Majima snapped she blinked, the only indication of her surprise at the sudden filter in of men that all vaguely looked the same.

And then she was ushered off to a table. She had a clear view of the ring, and she was not sure what to do with it. There was a shake of her head. No, she would not like a drink, thank you.

She opened her book on the table as if she were going to continue it, but she was more preoccupied with the goings ons of the other two.]

[This calmness that Majima carried was increasingly disturbing each time he spoke.

Eli gave Vianca a nod as she moved away and towards the ring. She tossed her bag aside and stripped her sweater away too. She cracked her knuckles, rolled her neck and her shoulders, but kept her eyes on Vianca and Majima instead of her opponents.]
