Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond. Whatever happens happens, bro!
When: January 13 - January 31
Warnings: I wrote 'hijinks'. That should explain everything.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Slumber party in the common room! Build a wall outside your best or worst friend's room from whatever garbage you find lying around to prevent them from escaping the confines of their dorm! Gather around the TV for some late night movie action! Kidnap a princess or two! Break down some unfortunate walls! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Volgin. You were probably a month late into telling him this. And appearing at the door and telling him basically "it was good you didn't die it would be sad" was beyond awkward.

But.

However.

This was maybe the nicest thing he heard out of Volgin's mouth. Nevermind how weird it sounded (it sounded REALLY weird, and he's been trying to get over it all, sheesh) and the presence Volgin usually gave, Mac just sorta...look passed it after a few seconds. He usually does when people do nice things. Unless if Raikov talked him into it.

"Thanks sir..." Heh. "I ain't ready to go yet, don't plan to."

Who knew? Volgin was not going to state his intentions so clearly... initially. Him visiting the boy in the hospital would have been more terrifying and out of character, likely. That, and indulging in his habit of battering people for fun and sport was not terribly fun when the guy was already hunkered down in a hospital bed.

But the giant did as he pleased, regardless of when it was appropriate for him to show up. Really, he remained rather indifferent to whatever discomfort Mac might have had.

"... You're probably wondering why I came so late to, hn, make sure you're still on this mortal coil with us." He placed a hand on the door frame, cocking a brow.

"I'm inquiring about a demonstration of your boxing abilities. An opponent is hardly worth my time when they're already broken."

And then, there was a broad smirk.

....OOOHHH. Now he got you. And no, Mac was also not taking this as badly. In fact, he smirked. Volgin was asking about his boxing and boxing with him. Mac needed a fight. A good one. Like he used to. Volgin didn't necessarily go look down and say "you're pitiful, I don't want to even see you in any ring ever". It was a, "dude, you're supposed to fight me don't screw it all up by still being conked out from almost dying okay".

Mac looked up at him with a confident, but not cocky, face.

"I ain't that easy to break. I know I still owe you that fight. You can still count on me."

It made him feel SO GOOD to say that.

If only Volgin knew; an opponent that wanted to consider themselves worthy was no good to him dead.

For right now he was pleased with the response, making up for all the cockiness between them with the smirk in return.

"Good boy. That's what I wanted to hear."

A pause.

"... Make me bleed, boy, and I'll buy you a drink."

...Okay, now we are kinda at Weirdsville again.

But um, Mac will just take that as, "Let's be sporty about this and go out for drinks afterwords."

"...A-alright, I can't drink any alcohol though..."

This was going to be a place of common visitation.

"Fair enough.

"But, a little liquor would help, what's the phrase?" He made a motion with his hand. "Put a little hair on your chest?"

Nevermind that Volgin was too blond and electrical to be really hairy himself.
