DORM LOG GET IN HERE EVERYONE

Warnings: I wrote 'hijinks'. That should explain everything.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Slumber party in the common room! Build a wall outside your best or worst friend's room from whatever garbage you find lying around to prevent them from escaping the confines of their dorm! Gather around the TV for some late night movie action! Kidnap a princess or two! Break down some unfortunate walls! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

[Eli's roommate has been strangely absent, so she's had the room to herself. Not that she spends much time in it anywho. When she is in there, the door is closed and, more often than not, locked. But nothing is stopping you from knocking.

Catch her stomping around in the hallways, at the library, or around campus on her way to the city.]

[KNOCK KNOCK! Oh, that was a familiar voice on the other side of that door. A very annoying, very familiar sing-song voice. Whoever could it be.]

I have something of yourrrs~! ♪

[If he had said anything else other than that, Eli would have ignored it. But he had things. Things that belonged to her. So she opened the door and looked at Majima. Not even a hello. RUDE.]

[receiveyou]

[Grinning merrily back at you was Majima's crooked old mug. Oh and he was... wearing your hoodie.]

[It took a second to sink in, honestly. Oh, Majima was wearing her hoodie. He was wearing her clothes. HER CLOTHES WERE ON HIS BODY.]

TAKE THAT OFF.

[She then attempts to wrestle the hoodie off of him.]

[No no no, Eli, you were doing this all wrong. Majima took a step back and

then he grabbed the hoodie by its collar and

then with one ultra dramatic sweep of his arm

[Amitie was just going about her day, just happened to pass by the dorms, but then--

/scream

A naked man and an angry lady!! Oh no, something got caught in her face!!!]

[That was... not what she was expecting would happen. She withdrew her arms and balled her hands into angry little fists.

Just as she was about to insist that he now give it back to her, she realized it was hanging on someone's face. So she shrieked at them instead.]

Give that to me.

[receiveyou]

[Now Majima was a shirtless Majima. Just what everyone needed. His full array of tattoos were visible now - an elaborate mural of snakes, flowers, and a great big demon face all across his back.]

I thought it looked prrretty good on me...

[Woah, what's going on out there? What where they talking about?

Amitie got rid of whatever was covering her face (which turns out to be a jacket-coat or something) and watched the scene intently.]

[Eli shut her door behind herself, sidestepped and grabbed her hoodie from wherever Amitie had tossed it. Then snapped back at Majima.]

Don't. Wear my clothing. As if your ssssnakessskin jacketsss weren't enough.

[receiveyou]

[Majima only smiled back with a condescending purr in his voice. He casually leaned against the doorframe.]

Not all of us are borrrn with it, babe.

[batchigu]

[Oh no, they're fighting, that's not good. Friends or lovers, that's just not good.]

You two shouldn't be fighting.

[Vianca had not really gone out of her way to find the snake. At least not since the holidays cause that totally happened. She had certainly seen her in the library since then, and was somewhat acutely aware of the snake's presence there. It was an odd sort of feeling.

But she had not gone out of her way to be in the middle of Eli's course. It was just going to happen that way.

The snow had piled up more. It was the time of year that Vianca had been looking forward too, where she could take a seat in the middle of it all and completely disappear amongst all the white. She sitting on a cushion she had borrowed from somewhere, a picture of whites and grays on the washed out landscape. The only bit of color was the book in her hands and the splash of pink in her hair, her eyes turned down over the pages.]

[Eli had not really gone out of her way to find the Pikmin, either. She wasn't ignoring her, just... not talking to her or sometimes even acknowledging her when they passed each other around school. Totally not ignoring her.

On her way to Majima's, Eli spotted the splash of pink. It was mid-January. That had been enough time spent avoiding her. Eli veered off her path and made a beeline for the Pikmin. She didn't look at her, but just stood behind her.]

What are you reading?

[vianca]

[A Vianca of a year ago wouldn't have minded being ignored. That's what she would have been aiming for. Somewhere along the line something had started to shift very slightly back to how things used to be.

She heard the crunch of snow. At first she stayed still, waiting to see if it was just someone walking past. When the footsteps stopped behind her, she held her breath for a moment. The voice wasn't one she had been expecting, and it surprised her.]

... The Lovely Bones.

[Eli was quiet for a few seconds, not audibly acknowledging Vianca's answer. She dropped her bag beside the Pikmin so she could seat herself upon it.]

Can I talk to you?

[vianca]

[The pikmin looked over at her then, taking in the mass of purple and her demeanor and finally her face. Vianca didn't think Eli really needed to ask, but she supposed that was normal since Vianca was... well. She was Vianca, and no one was more aware of that than she was. She nodded.]

[There was a short pause between the answer and Eli speaking again.]

...Aren't you cold?

[It may have seemed like Eli had intended to have a Serious Talk with Vianca. She just didn't want to bother Vianca by talking while she was trying to read.]

[vianca]

[Vianca blinked. Ah. She looked back towards the tale of the girl that had died in the earth, shrugging very slightly as she ran her fingers over the words on the page.]

... Just a little.

[Sometimes it was hard to ignore that she was still a plant despite her fondness for the season. It hadn't grown too unbearably cold yet however.]

Why don't you sit somewhere warmer?

[She sounded a little irritated, although she didn't mean to. A quiet sigh and she attempted to soften her tone.]

Inside. You could come with me.

[vianca]

[She noticed. The initial tone, the shift. Vianca slipped her fingers a bit more, unsure if she wanted to actually voice her thoughts. It was still a strange experience for her. It was much easier to remain silent.]

I like being lost in it.

[She paused, looking back up at Eli.]

Where? [Because Eli had been going somewhere.]

[Eli still hadn't quite looked right at Vianca yet. At the moment she was somewhat hypnotized by her little, pale fingers gliding across the book she held. But when she answered she slightly cocked her head in Vianca's direction.]

I'm training at some place in the city. It'll be warmer inside and no one will bother you.

[vianca]

[Training. Eli was a pokemon, Vianca reminded herself. Even if she hadn't been, this school was what it was. Training made sense. Following the snake all the way into the city when she could just as easily travel the much shorter distance back into the school did not. But at the moment she was keeping still, and there was more warmth in moving. It didn't make sense, following someone she didn't know very well to a place in the city that she had probably never been. And yet she realized with a skip of her heart that she was agreeing, nodding her head gently as the word left her mouth.]

Okay.

[She didn't make it apparent in the slightest, but Eli was incredibly pleased with Vianca's answer. Only the slightest smile briefly crossed her face as she helped herself up. She grabbed her bag and held her hand out for the Pikmin.]
