The game attracted millions of viewers. This specific event, perhaps over a billion. And so it was at Smash Academy, everyone gathered around the bigscreen television in the common room to watch two teams run a ball around a field.

There were snacks. Lots of them. And drinks. Lots of them. And someone had brought a foam football that was currently being tossed around the room. It was entirely possible that people were already drunk, but be it off beer or simply the contact high from being around sports fans was impossible to tell.

It was finally happening. Dr. Eggman's Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park was open to residents of Smash Academy!

An elevator in an open field led up to the giant orbiting theme park, directly into the central hub, TROPICAL RESORT. And upon arrival, everyone was handed a brochure containing a map of all the available areas of the park. All around you were Eggman robots, wearing costumes, carrying signs, and on call to help out anyone who needed it. If you were to look up, all you'd be able to see, besides the tips of the buildings, was perhaps the most breathtaking view of the earth you could see in your life.

Restaurants and shops littered the central hub of the park. Transporters were located at specified locations to take attendees to the available planets. For those who didn't want to use a transporter, a shuttle bus made regular stops at all available destinations.

For those who were lost or for park bulletins, PA announcements sounded at regular intervals.

Rides. Games. Food. Shopping. This place had it all, whatever you wanted to do. And it was all yours, Smash.

[The third group's restaurant is a rotating fancy restaurant, the tallest in all of FDC! The place is high up in the air, and you can see all of the city from above! It slowly moves around itself so you can see the city from 360 degrees.The menu has all sorts of things. Still expensive, however, but you've been given a 100$ budget for eating each!

The lighting is dim, with flickering, oil candles on every table. The place is decorated in stylish black and browns, with reddish lanterns hanged on top. The overhead music is half traditional Italian love songs, half that band you don't remember the name of and sometimes a little song sneaks in. Your servers are all dressed up for the occasion, and speak broken English and talk-like-a-dis despite the menu not being 100% Italian.

Beside each candle, there's a card. Each card has a different letter-number combination.

[If you look down on the mountain top today, you may notice six figures arriving to the sound of this music. It is Sasha holding a boombox. Uh no okay. There is no special music. Just the sound of flapping wings in the air, marching feet on the ground, a team of six coming to Smash Academy in unison like the most beautiful trainwreck of Pokemon grouping the world has ever seen. Their footsteps get faster as the climb up and try to push Sonny up there, more and more excited as their eyes start to gleam at the sight of the school before them. Their hearts beat faster. Just a few more minutes, and they'll finally be face to face with who they are coming to see.

Of course, this was Smash Academy. They might meet a other people, Pokemon and creatures along the way before seeing that ray of sunshine of theirs, and afterward...]

Lash could swallow her own pride, once in a while. Like, maybe once. This was her once in a lifetime thing. She knew she wasn't that good with Pokemon training. and if she ever wanted ot be serious about it, she needed someone competent for her and Zapdos to train with. Someone who would know all about the Lighting Types. And hey, Surge wasn't so bad when Lash had been a Flaaffy. Maybe this could work. He'd training them in the army ways and maybe Zapdos could learn how to behave a bit...except she didn't have much hope in that.

Maybe Surge would be a miracle worker however. Then...watch out world! The Wunderkind and her Lightning God would take on all the gyms in the entire world and come out four times champions. JUST YOU WATCH. Yeah! Maybe. Possibly. Anything was possible, alright?

If anything, it was going to be interesting. Lash hadn't done a good military style workout for awhile and it got tiring doing stuff with Max most of the time.
