Ripped off the last one: Basically, here's what this is: we all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good portal for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR and the like.

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Harrass your least favorite teacher by throwing oranges at their window! Play your favorite survival horror game at night while subjecting your squeamish friends to your dark tastes! Get into a squabble with your next door neighbors about unappreciated late-hour rackets! Confess your love to the girl of your dreams after class is over! It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Show this log no mercy.

[February 14th, ah. The air is still crisp and cold and it seems to of snowed last night, but the weather is otherwise sunny and clear and certainly warming up. The tiniest hints of green grass and flowers-to-be are poking their heads out of the snow here and there. The school's fountain is not frozen and the lake, while still glossed over with a sheet of ice is very thin and probably not worth trying to skate on. Pink, red and white heart-shaped streamers and garland line certain parts of the hallways, over your lockers and around the dorms. Like it, love it, or hate it--it's pretty obvious what day it is today.

AS YOU MAY OR MAY NOT KNOW Valentines Day at Smash Academy can be a very special time with very special little things running around hoping to make your special day miserable or wonderful. Or both. Or neither.

Perhaps you do not wish to be a part of these shenanigans and would simply like to use this open log as an excuse for general activity THAT IS TOTALLY COOL TOO.

I'll be throwing up a bunch of threads to start but please feel free to make your own! Maybe you thought of a location/scenario I haven't thought of, or you'd prefer just a general 'my character is at a time and place of convenience please bother them' thread, it's all good. Also by all means do not let this stop you from making your own logs and journals and what not. Go crazy!]

Remembuh me? The roomie log turned out to be a success, and a lot of really awesome interactions took place. Because of this, I've decided it was about time to post round two. The name has been changed a little because I think it reflects the premise slightly better.

Basically, here's what this is: we all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good portal for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR and the like. Some examples can be seen in the link I provided if you fight through the buttload of comments in case I'm sort of unclear.

So how do we start? It's up to you, really. Don't have any plans with anyone else but want your character bugged? Start a thread. It helps to staple dates and times, but you can keep that completely ambiguous if you really don't care/it doesn't matter. So disembark and wreak havoc amongst yourselves! Set up karaoke and sing loudly to further improve relations with dorm neighbors! Jack cylindrical fluorescent light bulbs from the supply closet and fight like Jedi Masters! Build couch forts with other people's laundry! (...ew?) Hold a "study session" with that special someone of yours! Harass teachers and students alike with your inane questions! What bountiful possibilities await you.

Lighter was determined to win the "who can find the biggest tree" contest. Well, he was always determined to win any contest, especially when his manhood was at stake, but this time all that hard work and determination actually paid off!

BEHOLD! A huge, naked tree just waiting to be decorated! And there just happened to be boxes of decorations available. And conveniently tall ladders.

Surely no chaos would come of this.

[The second group's restaurant is Asian Fusion Dinning. The rooms looks fancy but down to earth and the menu is very varied. Still expensive, however, but you've been given a 100$ budget for eating each!

The lighting is dim, with flickering, oil candles on every table. The place is decorated in stylish black and browns, with Japanese and Chinese wallscrolls and paintings. The overhead music is traditional yet somehow futuristic Asian music, to fit with the theme. Your servers are all dressed up for the occasion, and speak broken English.

Beside each candle, there's a card. Each card has a different letter-number combination.

You heard the "what"! It's a roomie log! What does this mean for our dudes? It's a good way to build CR between characters who are meant to interact on a daily basis, but somehow you never really get the chance to stick them together otherwise, in logs or commentspam or whatever! Here is a good chance.

Before you start a thread, I'd suggest getting the okay from the other character's mun just in case. Basically, just add a thread with the room number (and date/time, if it matters) and take it where you will! Go crazy, do whatever. Story swapping. Bed jumping. Nail painting. Slug wars in sleeping bags. ~It can be yours, my friend, as long as you make a thread.~

Don't just limit yourself to one thread, either. If it so appeases you, you could hold a thread with more than just two characters (Man cave in BE-01), or if that one thread between your two dudes wasn't enough, make another one for a different time. Have fun, guys! Get ready to bug your roommates and next-door neighbors. BLOCK PARTY BLOCK PARTY and then the RAs kicked everyone out.

Goombella was bored.  Knuckles was gone back to Angel Island, and she was left without a thing in the world to do outside of school work, which she had frankly already completed.  So with a deficit of things to do to occupy her time, she took a book outside and decided to get some reading done.  Who knows?  Maybe something interesting would happen on the way.

The weather had been incredibly hot that morning, causing the city's electricity consummation to rise dramatically as all of the air conditionnners were being used at once. This afternoon, a very cold front was fast approaching. The result were predictable. The sky had turned dark grey by mid afternoon, and now there were sounds of thunder that was fast approaching. Most would call it ruined weather, but for men like Kamek and Ganondorf, it was the perfect time for a wizard's duel. The raw energy from mother nature only served to heightened their senses and abilities, which would cause havoc to the school soon. But we'll get to that part later.

The Gerudo's King mood had barely improved during the last few weeks after his talk with Nabooru. More reserved and keeping to himself except for classes, those that knew him either knew what was wrong, or didn't dare ask.

"These two trees are a fine target," he said, pointing to two large coniferous in the nearby forest.

A wizard's duel. He hadn't had one of those since his earlier days at school. It had lead, at the time, to one of the reasons why the Hands had decided to lock his magical powers. Ganondorf had grown tremendously since then. No longer the teenager with a name to prove, he was now a King with so much to loose. And so much he had already lost. The situation left him between not caring for anything and being overly protective of what he had left. This duel would provide him with a good enough distraction.

After having exchanged a few magical blows, he had found the old Magikoopa to be excellent in simple spells. Kamek's age and experience were a good offset to Ganondorf's raw power. Now they were moving on to much more dangerous territory. Spells from a distance, controlling the very earth and plants. A person's life in their hands could become so fragile and dangerous.

Lightning struck farther away. The wind was blowing and it was coming their way soon.

"Begin."
