What: BLIND DATES!
Who: Anyone who was sent a note with an C# &D# table numbers.
Where: Off-campus restaurant. AND BEYOND!
When: November 19th
Warnings: Who knows depending who is here.

[The second group's restaurant is Asian Fusion Dinning. The rooms looks fancy but down to earth and the menu is very varied. Still expensive, however, but you've been given a 100$ budget for eating each!

The lighting is dim, with flickering, oil candles on every table. The place is decorated in stylish black and browns, with Japanese and Chinese wallscrolls and paintings. The overhead music is traditional yet somehow futuristic Asian music, to fit with the theme. Your servers are all dressed up for the occasion, and speak broken English.

Beside each candle, there's a card. Each card has a different letter-number combination.

Find your table!

The Grand Entrance

Rouge strutted into the restaurant as if half-dancing to sexy jazz music. Oh yes, whoever her blind date was, she was going to impress him. Put her feminine charms on full force. Ideally, she'd get a nice piece of jewelry out of the evening and never see the guy again! Eeeee, what a perfect evening it could be, she thought to herself.

Glancing around, she didn't yet see anyone headed to her table, so she sat down and crossed her legs in her usual seductive manner, checking her makeup in her reflection on the back of a spoon. Fun was going to be had tonight on her part, she was sure.

Still, she wondered if Knuckles really would be her blind date. It would be SOOO PERFECT........ But no, she thought, enough daydreaming. I have to look my best for my Romeo, whoever he was, and charm it up to ensure I walk out of this date with another addition to my collection.

She was only going to stay here long enough to tell her unfortunate "date" that there had been some kind of mistake. Sabrina's participation in this event hadn't exactly been voluntary, and she'd hate for a willing participant to wind up being stuck with someone like her. That didn't explain why she had bothered to dress for the occasion, though. On the other hand, leaving someone at a nice restaurant like this, especially if they had been expecting a nice evening out with someone new... Sabrina may not have been the easiest person to get along with, but she wasn't that rude.

So, with a few moments careful consideration, and more than a few hesitant glances back towards the door, Sabrina took a seat at her table to wait.

Somehow, he should have expected to be "drafted" into this little project. It annoyed him to a degree because he had been shoved into this position rather than willingly accepting it, but he was able to come to terms with himself. He should be respectful and stick to this requirement, as it was an obligation to his date, no matter how sneaky the sign-up process was. A blind date couldn't be all that bad, right? The meal would be paid for, and all he really needed to do was share conversation with the chosen lady. The night could turn out nicely after all.

Although, he had 0 experience points when it came to the dating scene. Falkner figured he would just try to play it cool. Ah! Not too shabby a place. He greeted the hostess with a smile and returned her soft dip of a bow, then scoped the tables until he found the one with his letter-number combination on it. He took a seat and awaited his date.

Maybe he was a little nervous. This was still a date. No, he could definitely do this. This would be a breeze.

Oh goodness this was the fanciest thing Lyn had ever seen. SO WHAT if the concept of being drafted into this thing was completely lost on her and her idea of a nice date was, like, hunting down a deer in the woods and eating it for dinner? She was going to make the most of this thing and make friends and everything was going to be fine.

Lyn sat down at her table and she was looking around like she had never seen a restaurant before. Golly those trees were so small how did it work?

There was a flaw to this "find the card on the table that matches yours" deal.

Izzy had to flag down a hostess and demand to be shown her corresponding table, and that had just lead to a whole series of questions about whether Izzy was old enough to pay for this meal and blah blah blah.

WELL WHATEVER she got there eventually and was sitting haphazardly in her seat. At least that was pretty comfy.

He didn't know why he was there. He didn't know how he had been talked into this.

Cyrus took another look at the card in his hand before finding the table and reluctantly sitting. This was the sort of place he saw around Jubilife, in its attempts to pass itself off as a modern city, whatever that meant. And he'd had to sit through business meetings at tables just like this, with far-too-expensive menus and far-too-elaborate setups, just to get his advertisements on the air.

The outcome of those meetings had been worth it. The outlook on this didn't look so good.

He sipped his water, noting that the salt content was too high to be healthy, as he looked around for whoever could possibly be sitting with him.

Sable entered the restaurant, quickly found her number and took her seat. Being one of the participants that willingly signed up for the blind dates, she was both excited and a little nervous to find out who her date was! Somehow, she was relying on the fact that since the last blind date that happened turned out well, perhaps this time will go well too! Maybe.

For now, she was looking around the room in awe. Wow, this place was pretty fancy!

However he'd be signed up for this 'assignment', Giovanni found the table assigned to him in the restaurant easily enough. But despite his internal complaints, the place was rather lovely, even with the...modern decor. Sigh. Given this is was a 'date' though, he wasn't going to stand up the person. That wouldn't be very becoming of him, would it? No it would not, and so he sat at the table, dressed nicely as always. Did the man even own anything but suits?

And so he waited patiently for his 'date', expecting the evening to go south quickly.
Who knew, maybe it would be a nice surprise...
Maybe.

Ghor wasn't qualified as "date material." He couldn't eat, he couldn't reproduce or even kiss, and his large metal hands probably didn't lend themselves to the whole hand-holding thing very well. From what he gathered, those were common dating activities on Earth. As such, he felt very out of place in this restaurant.

But he was confident he'd make good enough company, at least. There were still so many people to meet at this school; this was a perfect opportunity to get to know somebody better.

He didn't even touch his menu while he waited. No need.

Pit could remember the last time he went on a blind date, clear as crystal. It was a night that sang of fond memories, a first experience and a new friend. Almost a year had passed since that friend left, huh?

Well, now it was time to meet a new friend! Make more memories! So it was with a grin plastered across his face that he entered the restaurant. The deco definitely contrasted from last time. Pit wasted absolutely no time picking out his table. First one here! ...Just like last time. Ha. He sure was thinking in 'just like last times' a lot. Pit didn't really piece that into consideration anymore, so he plopped down and sat eagerly, way too excited for his date. Big blue eyes darted across every figure in the room, and each time he wondered if they would stop and take a seat with him.

Canas nervously scurried into the restaurant. He was too busy to regard the niceties of the atmosphere, and he could feel himself shaking. It was completely unorthodox for him to be set up in a date with someone, and, in fact, he'd never dated anybody in his life before! His wife, well... he never dated her before proposing, and-

That was his biggest dilemma! He was married, and he had a strong mind to let that Ganondorf know, but then he sort of chickened out. He supposed that he had to go on this date to let the other know that he was, unfortunately, signed up against his will, and then he could call it off.

Right?

The druid found his table before looking back and forth. It looked as though he came too early... he got here before his date, and that's not how he planned it. He decided, since he was so anxious, that he might as well take a seat and try to look composed...

Well, now Vinnie felt underdressed. This was a swankier place than anywhere he'd ever been before, and he wearing flip-flops. He was really starting to rethinking how good of an idea this blind date thing was - Sasha, of course, thought it was going to be amazing fun and signed him up, before the grim shadow of doubt could make him stop her.

But, it was too late now. And if he didn't show up, then he'd just be an ass. So there he was, in the floral print shirt with the fewest grass stains and a blazer.

He was slouching, kind of fiddling with the stuff on the table and trying not to look uncomfortable.

Joshua looked around the fancy restaurant as he walked in, whistling from the elaborate decor and interesting layout. He wasn't one for restaurants, usually used to eating at a bar with a background track of people arguing and gossiping. Due to his new status, all that he wore was his usual clothes -- ignoring some of the interesting looks he received. Both good and bad, his casual body language and smirk differing him from those who might be nervous or stiff.

It was strange to be in such an unfamiliar atmosphere, with odd music and odd furniture. Taking out a coin to occupy his time, Joshua fiddled with it by clinking it across the fingers on his hand as he waited for the other person that would supposedly show up.He had signed up by going with the flow, really.

Besides, lady luck said today would be a good day.
