What: BLIND DATES!
Who: Anyone who was sent a note with an C# &D# table numbers.
Where: Off-campus restaurant. AND BEYOND!
When: November 19th
Warnings: Who knows depending who is here.

[The second group's restaurant is Asian Fusion Dinning. The rooms looks fancy but down to earth and the menu is very varied. Still expensive, however, but you've been given a 100$ budget for eating each!

The lighting is dim, with flickering, oil candles on every table. The place is decorated in stylish black and browns, with Japanese and Chinese wallscrolls and paintings. The overhead music is traditional yet somehow futuristic Asian music, to fit with the theme. Your servers are all dressed up for the occasion, and speak broken English.

Beside each candle, there's a card. Each card has a different letter-number combination.

Find your table!

Link was wandering throughout the restaurant, looking for the table number listed on the card he had received. He couldn't help but stare at every little thing as he looked for the table. Of course, he remembered to keep an eye out for his number while looking at everything inside the restaurant.

Ah, there it was! C4! And there was somebody already sitting at the table! She must be the person that he was supposed to go on this blind date with!

"Hi!" Link greeted Lyn happily as he took his seat across from her.

"Oh!" All right enough staring at the restaurant. "Hello!" She was so excited she was practically sparkling. WHAT IS A DATE IN THIS CRAZY WORLD? Lyn fidgeted a little in her seat and oh it was so nice to meet new people.

"My name is Lyn. What's yours?"

"My name's Link! Our names sound pretty similar, huh?" Link couldn't help but laugh a little at that.

He then smiled, extending his hand across the table. "It's nice to meet you, Lyn!"

"Indeed they do," she replied with a smile and took his hand. Sparkling intensely, she kissed it as rose petals flew around the table. It was beautiful. Friendly handshakes are always cool.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, too, Link."

"So, uh..." Link looked around, then spotted the menus on the table in front of him. Right! Food! That's what they came to this restaurant for! He nearly forgot! Link picked up the menu and flipped back and forth between the pages, looking for anything that caught his eye.

...A lot of these foods sounded pretty strange. "What are you planning on ordering?"

"Ah!" The menu! She hadn't even looked at it yet. Lyn picked it up and stared at it, like she was concentrating hard on deciphering it.

...

... ...

"... Err... Tell me, have you heard of any of these things before...?"

"Aahh..." Link read over the menu, carefully looking at each item on the menu, as if he was attempting to translate a foreign language. Well, that one looked like it be... No. No, he had no idea what that meant.

"...Not really..." He looked around at the other people in the restaurant. They seemed to be doing pretty fine. "Maybe we should ask someone else here?"

Well, at least Link wasn't the only one who was having issues with this menu. "That's a very good idea," she nodded, and tried to flag down a waiter.

"Excuse me! ...Um... What is all of this?" She pointed at the menu and said waiter began a very long-winded explanation of all the things on it.

It was... A lot of things.

...They all sounded so complicated... Why was there so much to one meal?

Well, the last dish sounded good, and that was just about the only one Link remembered after that long explanation. He ordered their steak, then waited for Lyn to order.

Oh, good! It was actually things she was familiar with instead of strange foreign food. Chicken, steak and fish with sauce or vegetables or whatever were totally more recognizable than hiding them under fancy names. After finally ordering something (the chicken), she took a sip of her water and smiled.

"It's harder than I thought to figure out restaurants."

Link nodded, looking around as waiters passed by with trays of very fancy looking dishes. ...Hm... Everyone else seemed to have those little squares of cloth on their laps. Were they supposed to do that to?

Link turned his attention back to Lyn. "I guess everyone else here is used to it... To tell the truth, this is my first time eating at a restaurant like this!"

Oh... Huh. Perhaps those were what those little scraps of cloth were for.

"You too?" She asked, clearly fascinated. Gosh they already had so much in common! "Tell me, Link: Where are you from?" IF HE SAID ELIBE...

Lyn had never been to a restaurant before, either? Well! Now he didn't feel as left out and confused about all this. "Hyrule. What about you?"

They seemed to have so much in common, he wouldn't be surprised if she came from Hyrule, too.

"From what I understand, it's very far away from this place. I'm from Elibe."

A PAUSE, AND... "What's it like? This Hyrule, I mean."

"Very different from here. We don't have the 'technology' or 'electricity' this school has. We don't even have large schools like this," Link explained, then asked, "What's Elibe like?"

This was strange... "The largest school I'd ever seen before coming here was smaller than this restaurant. We didn't have any of these 'lightbulbs' or 'computers.'"

VERY STRANGE... "I suppose it's a lot like Hyrule."

This was rather interesting! Their worlds seemed to be nearly identical, by the sound of it.

"I guess we both grew up with similar customs, then!" After a short pause, he then asked, "What did you do in your world before you came here?"

This was crazy. She never would have thought two people from different worlds would have so much in common!

"I practiced the sword." She paused, "I still do, but my journey is over for now."

Link was silent for a while. He was... Well, he was very surprised! Sure, he knew that they had a lot in common, but he didn't know they had that much in common.

"I practiced the sword, too!" This conversation was getting more and more interesting every second! "What was your journey?"

"You're a swordsman too!?" Lyn clapped her hands together once. "I'd love to see your skill sometime."

Her journey? "It's a long story..." She trailed off and tried to think of the best way to explain it. Her smile faltered, "There was a man trying to pit our territories against one another and start a war. We-- my friends and I defeated him, but before he died he called three dragons out of the Dragon's Gate. A friend was able to defeat two of them, but one remained. We had to slay it to keep Elibe safe."

I... I never played any of the FE games so uh... :|;;

"Maybe we could spar later?" It would be great to get some sword practice and see how good Lyn was. As long as she wanted to, of course.

When Lyn began telling of her adventure, Link went silent and listened intently. That sounded like quite the journey! Since Zant had once tried to turn the Light and Twili Realms against each other, Lyn's journey sounded rather similar.

"Were your territories alright afterwords?"

Oooh, a spar. "I'd like that," she smiled.

"When I left, we were still at peace. It should remain that way for a long time." Link do you have a story to tell. "Do you have a story, Link?" TRICK QUESTION EVERYONE HAS A STORY TO TELL

"Oh, well..." Link thought for a while, trying to figure out what the most important parts of his journey were. "...Our kingdom was being taken over by the false Twili king, Zant. In the end, it turned out that he was doing this under the influence of a man named Ganondorf, and that the Twili- other than Zant- weren't really to blame. We had to defeat both Ganondorf and Zant to save our kingdom."

Lyn gave Link her undivided attention until he finished. Kingdoms being taken over, evil leaders, both stories sounded very similar. "Ganondorf..." Where had she heard that name before?

"I'm sure Hyrule is in safe hands, as well."

Link nodded in agreement with Lyn's statement. "Hyrule is now safely under the rule of Princess Zelda."

Soon after their conversation, the waiter arrived with their food!
