BLIND DATES GROUP 2
What: BLIND DATES!
Who: Anyone who was sent a note with an C# &D# table numbers.
Where: Off-campus restaurant. AND BEYOND!
When: November 19th
Warnings: Who knows depending who is here.
[The second group's restaurant is Asian Fusion Dinning. The rooms looks fancy but down to earth and the menu is very varied. Still expensive, however, but you've been given a 100$ budget for eating each!
The lighting is dim, with flickering, oil candles on every table. The place is decorated in stylish black and browns, with Japanese and Chinese wallscrolls and paintings. The overhead music is traditional yet somehow futuristic Asian music, to fit with the theme. Your servers are all dressed up for the occasion, and speak broken English.
Beside each candle, there's a card. Each card has a different letter-number combination.
Find your table!
OH YEAH AND FEEL FREE TO LEAVE THE RESTAURANT AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!]

GASP
He jumped from his seat, offering a smile and a hand. "H-hello!" Canas greeted.
"I didn't expect anyone to be prettier than my books""I don't recall meeting before. I'm Canas..."CANAMAUS I could do this all day
She did not offer a smile or a hand but she did attempt to offer a look of sympathy. Which meant her expression had probably changed very little. He looked so nervous.
"I'm not going to bite." She decided to sit down, for however brief she expected this meeting was going to be. "I hope it's no disappointment to inform you that I don't plan on staying here very long. Nothing personal."
they will have children and they will all be named canamus and sanas and etc.
"Oh, that's perfectly..." he began to say, but before he finished, something devastating happened. While trying to take a seat (in order to calm his nerves), the shaman managed to do the unthinkable.
He placed his hand on the armrest of the chair and, while sitting, he rocked it, loosing his balance. Him and the chair both toppled to the floor, but not before Canas let out a yelp.
This was the worst. How did he even manage to do that...? SMOOTH.
They sound like drug names. Or band names. Poor things.
Either way, she found herself out of her chair not a split second later after he yelped, crouching down and helping him back up. "You alright?" There was an almost abnormal strength she had for someone her size.
"I guess we weren't meant to be..."
"W-wow, you're strong," he slipped. He hadn't noticed what he said until a few moments afterward, so he added a sheepish smile. "Ah, I'm alright, I mean. Just a little slip, is all...!"
"A terrible shame."
"You don't need any help reading the menu or anything, right?" She said it without any sarcasm but her tone of voice was very dry, making it difficult to tell if she was being serious or not.
no subject
"Oh, no, but thank you for the offer," he replied, a smile continuing to grace his features. Suddenly, he second-guessed himself: was that really a joke? He focused harder on the selections given, trying to wipe the thought from his mind.

This however, was just an indication for the waiter to come by and assume they were ready to order. Or at least ask for drinks first.
The blonde kind of just stared at the waiter and replied with a flat, "Just water."

That's right, he remembered. He was going to tell his date that he had a wife, and he wasn't supposed to be part of this. He gulped, and looked at Samus. Sure, she was sort of small, but she gave off an intimidating vibe. He smiled.
"So, you said you were leaving soon," he mentioned, folding his hands together. "Right?"
no subject
It was still considerably awkward for her to admit that she had a significant other. A bounty hunter's life meant sacrificing any kind of personal life, especially significant others in the face of enemies who would love to exploit that, or the pain that comes with literal sacrifices on missions. Samus knew that incredibly well.
She shifted in her seat. "Even if I wasn't taken already I don't think I'd sign up for this willingly. Did you?"
no subject
With as choosy of a mother as his, he wasn't sure if he'd be allowed to walk out of this with a date, had he been looking. They probably wouldn't meet up to the magical standards of his parent.
no subject
"Ah." So this was officially no longer an awkward and unwilling blind date and more of an unwilling dinner meeting. That probably explained why he was so nervous.
"How long?"
no subject
Finally, he figured it out, and his index finger pointed to the air in realization. "Ah! About four," he recalled, nodding.
no subject
an npckept with the wife. Four years seemed like such a long time...Marriage was admittedly a mysterious subject and much like dating Samus mostly admonished the idea. Although, the idea quickly became an unrelenting one and as if to try and physically drown it, she was quick to down half her glass of water the moment they arrived.
"Are you ready to order?" The waiter asked with a terribly noticeable Asian accent.
no subject
For a moment, the druid stared at the man with his mouth open, but then he turned to Samus. "Are you..." he asked, even though there was no. definable question. there.
no subject
"Ah... yeah, I should." She stood and pushed her chair in. The waiter looked a complete mixture of confused, upset and disappointed.
no subject
Oh, the shaman was only following her out because he wasn't planning to stay, either, of course! Canas didn't want to be in the restaurant alone like that, so he was just ready to leave...
no subject
She wasn't sure.
So she asked once she made it to the door. "Are you following me?"
no subject

And then Samus dragged him along for drinking and got him super drunk and left him alone in the bar with no money I mean wait no"Ah." That answer seemed suitable enough to her, though she cast him a lingering stare, knowing parting words should probably be said to solidify that answer. Whether he followed or not, was not going to stop her from getting some drinks.
Samus gave him a nod and a ghost of a smile. "Take care, Canas." This evening could have easily been horrible
Samus could have been Raidenbut Canas' company wasn't so bad.no subject
Somehow, his response left him feeling awkward. See you? What kind of response was that? Would he? Of course, he reasoned: he'd see her at school sometime. There was no reason to keep feeling awkward just because it was supposed to be a date that wasn't a date.
