BLIND DATES GROUP 2

What: BLIND DATES!
Who: Anyone who was sent a note with an C# &D# table numbers.
Where: Off-campus restaurant. AND BEYOND!
When: November 19th
Warnings: Who knows depending who is here.

[The second group's restaurant is Asian Fusion Dinning. The rooms looks fancy but down to earth and the menu is very varied. Still expensive, however, but you've been given a 100$ budget for eating each!

The lighting is dim, with flickering, oil candles on every table. The place is decorated in stylish black and browns, with Japanese and Chinese wallscrolls and paintings. The overhead
music is traditional yet somehow futuristic Asian music, to fit with the theme. Your servers are all dressed up for the occasion, and speak broken English.

Beside each candle, there's a card. Each card has a different letter-number combination.

Find your table!

OH YEAH AND FEEL FREE TO LEAVE THE RESTAURANT AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!]

Canas was ready to affirm this (sometimes people just don't believe him, and he couldn't understand why!) until the waiter came around.

For a moment, the druid stared at the man with his mouth open, but then he turned to Samus. "Are you..." he asked, even though there was no. definable question. there.

She got you loud and clear, Canas. Samus was well-versed in the language of trailing-offese and ellipses...ese. They barely talked but what little they did was... nice. He seemed nice.

"Ah... yeah, I should." She stood and pushed her chair in. The waiter looked a complete mixture of confused, upset and disappointed.

Canas looked at the waiter and then back at Samus. Quietly apologizing to the man (and paying him more than even an average tip is supposed to be, even though it was completely unnecessary to do so), he followed Samus out of the restaurants, skittering so he was but a few steps behind. If one didn't know better, like the waiter, they might have thought that this was a date gone wrong.

Oh, the shaman was only following her out because he wasn't planning to stay, either, of course! Canas didn't want to be in the restaurant alone like that, so he was just ready to leave...

Samus had made it halfway out the restaurant before she noticed the lavender-haired man tailing her. Surely he was leaving just like her... right? Leaving behind food he could and should rightfully enjoy because he did not look like he would enjoy the bar and or bars she planned on going to. Probably?

She wasn't sure.

So she asked once she made it to the door. "Are you following me?"

He blinked, eyes wide. "Oh, no, I was... I was just leaving, myself." Canas didn't know if his answer held water or not, but that was what he was doing. For sure. Yep. Or, at least, he thought.

And then Samus dragged him along for drinking and got him super drunk and left him alone in the bar with no money I mean wait no

"Ah." That answer seemed suitable enough to her, though she cast him a lingering stare, knowing parting words should probably be said to solidify that answer. Whether he followed or not, was not going to stop her from getting some drinks.

Samus gave him a nod and a ghost of a smile. "Take care, Canas." This evening could have easily been horrible Samus could have been Raiden but Canas' company wasn't so bad.

"See you," he said, waving goodbye.

Somehow, his response left him feeling awkward. See you? What kind of response was that? Would he? Of course, he reasoned: he'd see her at school sometime. There was no reason to keep feeling awkward just because it was supposed to be a date that wasn't a date.
