Somehow, he should have expected to be "drafted" into this little project. It annoyed him to a degree because he had been shoved into this position rather than willingly accepting it, but he was able to come to terms with himself. He should be respectful and stick to this requirement, as it was an obligation to his date, no matter how sneaky the sign-up process was. A blind date couldn't be all that bad, right? The meal would be paid for, and all he really needed to do was share conversation with the chosen lady. The night could turn out nicely after all.

Although, he had 0 experience points when it came to the dating scene. Falkner figured he would just try to play it cool. Ah! Not too shabby a place. He greeted the hostess with a smile and returned her soft dip of a bow, then scoped the tables until he found the one with his letter-number combination on it. He took a seat and awaited his date.

Maybe he was a little nervous. This was still a date. No, he could definitely do this. This would be a breeze.
