Blind Dates C Tables
What: BLIND DATES!
Who: Anyone who was sent a note with C table numbers.
Where: Off-campus restaurant. AND BEYOND!
When: September 30th
Warnings: Who knows depending who is here.
[The third group's restaurant is a rotating fancy restaurant, the tallest in all of FDC! The place is high up in the air, and you can see all of the city from above! It slowly moves around itself so you can see the city from 360 degrees. The menu has all sorts of things. Still expensive, however, but you've been given a 100$ budget for eating each!
The lighting is dim, with flickering, oil candles on every table. The place is decorated in stylish black and browns, with reddish lanterns hanged on top. The overhead music is half traditional Italian love songs, half that band you don't remember the name of and sometimes a little song sneaks in. Your servers are all dressed up for the occasion, and speak broken English and talk-like-a-dis despite the menu not being 100% Italian.
Beside each candle, there's a card. Each card has a different letter-number combination.
Find your table!
OH YEAH AND FEEL FREE TO LEAVE THE RESTAURANT AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!.
..well once you've actually talked with your date anyway. If you try to leave before that, they will try to stop you.]

When he realized his date hadn't arrived yet, he awkwardly hovered around his table instead of sitting down. He thought about leaving.

She wore a slightly nicer kimono this evening to fit the restaurant, but it wasn't anything terribly fancy in Erika's eyes. Dressed to impress, but not to impress too much. This was just going to be a pleasant evening of conversation for the gym leader and really nothing more than that. She was quite curious about who she would end up with for the evening, and wore a small smile as she waited to see.
Hopefully they'd appear before she dozed off or something.

Brock was still nervous, though he felt a little better than he did last time. These weren't really dates, so there was no reason to feel guilty about being there. Besides, it wasn't like he'd signed himself up, so it wasn't his fault. Maybe he'd end up with a friend, or someone with which to have a good conversation.
Then again, maybe that was too much to hope for.
At any rate, he arrived on time and sat at his table, wringing his hands and scanning the menu while he waited for his company.

Re: C4
Wonderful.
In spite of it being such a nice place, it was still highly irritating. He could have been doing five other practical things. Stalking the greenhouse. Teaching Ai to swim (which he later realised he'd have to take off his clothes for). Grading Goose's papers. Bothering Vianca wherever she was. Sulking around the city and the campus halls.
Yes. Those were all better than this. He'd glanced at his menu, but he wasn't hungry. He didn't even really know what the money was for aside from currency, but he figured he could use it to buy some different clothes and give Riley back his.
So as he waited, because he assumed he'd be told when he could leave, he decided to sketch.

He crossed his arms as he looked around, wondering if there were only a few good restaurants in Final Destination City, and that was why he had found himself at this place twice already. At least he knew what was going to be on the menu this time.

Re: C6
Either way, he waited patiently. It wouldn't do to start ordering, or even looking at the menu, before his date arrived. That would just be poor manners.

Re: C7
Then he heard about the blind dates taking place on the same day he was arranged to meet this contact. Oh. At first he was a little disappointed, but mostly confused - he never signed up for anything like that. After a little consideration, he decided he couldn't turn down the opportunity to meet some charming lady and maybe have a good lay. Besides, there was always the chance that this was some anonymous tip after all and the blind date thing was just a cover. They would blend right in.
So he slicked his hair back, threw on a dress shirt and nice jacket, and headed out to the restaurant. It didn't take him long to find his table, though he didn't really like being the first one there. Being second would have given him an opportunity to watch and analyze his companion before approaching.
Oh well.

All the same, it was a little strange, especially considering she had a date with Sonny coming up in a couple of days. Oh, well. Maybe she'd learn something. So after taking a seat, she lifted her menu, and began to read - a bit weary that nothing was priced. She hoped she wouldn't wind up overeating. And washing dishes forever.

This was really one hell of a week to have yourself get turned into a completely different pokemon.
But you know what? Dana is a big girl and she can live through one night doing something she didn't want to do, so yeah, she totally is! The awkward-bidoof dressed herself as decently as she could, considering that her entire outfit is basically the opposite of her current color scheme and made her way down to the fancy restaurant.
She made her way to the table that she was assigned to and sat down. Thankfully, she was the first one here, but it made her so anxious to who her mystery date was.

Re: C10
He's already decided that these are no longer to be thought of as a means to foster a mating fondness (as one would imagine a date to be), but rather as a mandatory get-to-know-people-in-the-school sort of thing. Sure, they were paid for their participation, but it also seemed that they were forced to attend, whether they cared for the money or not. How confusing... And he was signed up again against his will, just as he was last time. The situation was uncannily familiar: Ulki sat silently, the first one to arrive (even though that was not his intention).
Again, a waiter ran into his wings. This time, he didn't apologize, but he turned to give him a look. The waiter apologized.

Besides, nice view. Cool place. Mac never even knew this place existed. Might as well enjoy the place even if his date is a meany head...hopefully not.
Mac was dressed casual, as always.

Re: C12
But a fancy restaurant and money that wasn't his was going to make whatever or whoever came out of this all worth it.
He arrived and approached the table, wearing his usual more-formal attire of black suit with green blazer.
