Dorm Log: Scorching Summer Edition

What: Dorm log!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Frankly? I don't care where. Go have fun, kids.
When: The span of June 14 - June 28th. Pick a date.
Warnings: Yeah, it got pretty naughty in here.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's how this works. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. Stay up all night watching reruns of Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles? Break out the ice cream and industrial fans to beat the heat? Get a bad suntan while you're asleep with the help of your friends? Whatever you get your bad self up to. Your good self is welcome, too. Now put your copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf down for one second and tag this thing!

Oh, my. This was quickly becoming thinly-veiled animosity central, wasn't it? Zelda would have none of that, and offered Green a sympathetic glance before leveling a stern one at Mondo and Shadow.

"There is no instigation at breakfast," she said coolly, flipping the first of what was sure to be many delicious pancakes.

"If you can't play nice, boys, I'm sure Green will have no trouble at all eating your pancakes."

All of them.

"I'm gonna eat 'em all," Green sighed, helpfully.

"I am doing nothing wrong," he told them, giving the slightest nonchalant shrug. "I was being honest. I do like him."

Because he was hilarious to poke subtly at. Shh.

"I will behave," Shadow tacked on, eyeing Mondo just one more time before crossing his legs politely. He'd get pancakes. He will.

Shadow, that was pretty creepy and Mondo gave him a look of revulsion that silently asked 'what the hell'. Mondo wasn't about to lose out on pancakes, but at the same time, he was too stubborn to let up on Shadow affronting him.

"You're a fuckin' weirdo," he remarked to the hedgehog while scooting his chair back a tad. "You get any closer to me and I'll turn you into a pancake."

"Behaving now, friend."

Too bad. Shadow wasn't letting him take his goat. He had sweets to earn with good behavior. Look at how proper he was being, lacing his hands together so nicely! No ill intent at all, nope. No sir.

"I ain't your friend!!" bellowed Mondo, ripping his legs from the top of the table (thank god) and ramming his palms into it instead (god please).

Mondo had a bit of trouble with good behavior. Even when there were sweets to earn.

"Mr. Oowada, please," Zelda said calmly but sternly, in a tone of voice that threatened ear-pulling and unceremonious throwing out of the room.

"Not over breakfast."

With a smile, she set the first plate of pancakes (some blueberry, some chocolate chip) onto the table, swiftly followed by butter and a carafe of syrup.

"Mm."

Shadow did steal a glance to Mondo, but he also passed one to Green, giving the two a knowing nod. If he let them have pancakes first, behaving like a perfectly good hedgehog, maybe he'd get extra? He knew how to properly mooch off of people.

"You can serve yourselves first."

Green gave Shadow a weird look, but didn't argue and served himself. He wasn't gonna let any weirdness stop him from getting some of Zelda's heavenly pancakes.

Shadow's last glare was shared by Mondo, who had decided he did not like the hedgehog one bit. He'd decided that the moment they met. It became much easier to let go of this animosity, however, when pancakes were served, at least for a little while. Who can be mad when fresh pancakes are placed in front of you?

"I will," he responded definitively.

He helped himself to the steaming hot cakes, the warm, sweet fragrance assuring him that sitting with these two would be worth it once he could indulge his taste buds with those. It's a very good thing there were no fellow Hope's Peak students present, because he began lathering his pancakes with a pat of

butter.
