Dorm Log: Scorching Summer Edition

What: Dorm log!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus. Frankly? I don't care where. Go have fun, kids.
When: The span of June 14 - June 28th. Pick a date.
Warnings: Yeah, it got pretty naughty in here.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's how this works. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. Stay up all night watching reruns of Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles? Break out the ice cream and industrial fans to beat the heat? Get a bad suntan while you're asleep with the help of your friends? Whatever you get your bad self up to. Your good self is welcome, too. Now put your copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf down for one second and tag this thing!

There was a lot of awkward silence in this room as Innes busied himself with something. Writing, most likely, sending letters home. He suddenly stood up, shoving something into his pocket. "I'm going out." Not that he needed to announce that, really.

Henry had been positioned on his bed on his stomach, his feet kicked up in the air while resting on his elbows. In front of him was a book that he was busying himself with, but now that Innes was going somewhere...

"Where are you going~?" he asked, looking up from the book.

"Nowhere with you," Innes replied flatly, frowning sharply at his roommate. That kid was just creepy, with his talk of hexes and ever-persistent smile. He pulled on his long tunic and headed for the door.

"What makes you so sure of that?" asked Henry. "What if I was just about to head out, too? We could have gone together. Just speaking hypothetically~"

Henry pushed himself off of the bed. Now he seemed pretty intent on figuring out where Innes was headed.

Gods, what was with this kid? He was more persistent than Innes himself. "I doubt we're going the same direction." Innes frowned seemingly sharper than before.

"Ooooh..." Henry hummed softly, continuing to follow close to Innes. "Ahah, I didn't know you could frown so hard. C'mon, smile! I just wanna keep you company~"

"I don't want your company," Innes shot back. He didn't particularly like Henry. He didn't trust him either. And there was that smile. Did he ever do anything else? Then again, Innes was the stark opposite.

Henry brought a curled index finger to his lower lip, keeping a smile but looking thoughtful all the while.

"Hmm, that is a troublesome situation," he mused, almost he was listening to someone else's problem. "Why? Don't you like me? I am your roommate... I know where you sleep."

"You are horribly creepy, especially with statements like that." Though that last part sounded somewhat like a threat as well. Why was he telling this to Henry anyway? He didn't particularly want to talk to his roommate, but Innes had no hesitation to tell someone exactly what he thought of them.

"But I do, don't I?" he replied, smiling. "You sleep in the same room, so I thought that should be obvious."

Henry came up to Innes's side, like he was about to follow along anyway. But he didn't say anything about that bit. "We should be getting along~ If you want to know the truth, I don't think you're so bad. I guess if you still don't wanna like me, I have no problems with that, though..."

"Saying it like that is creepy." And it was. The unmoving happy expression added to it only made it worse.

But that next part made the archer pause. Few people found him pleasant to be with. He was a strong, reliable ally and archer but otherwise he just came across as an austere dick. He said what he thought and had no hesitation to talk down to someone.

And he was stuck with Henry for now. And truly, he could use an ally, even as suspicious as this guy seemed to always be. "I'll consider it."

"Yay!" cheered Henry, clasping his hands together. At least, superficially, that meant that his roommate might be friendly with him. "Whether or not you reach a conclusion, I'll still do anything you'd like of me. I wouldn't wanna anger a prince, nya ha~"
