Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

TL;DR version: It is the middle of the night. Suddenly, a whole lot of whumping and rustling and roaring, and OH DANG there is a tree on fire in the middle of campus. What do.

Rating: The letter appropriate for Kissing & Violence against Plants & Swearing.

After Celebi's inquiries about tiny, berried plants, she came to a few conclusions. Either people really liked them or people were pretty indifferent to them! Or they were grumpy. There seemed to be a lot of grumpies. Clearly the solution to that was to bring the mistletoe on to campus and let it flourish! EVERYWHERE.

IT WAS EVERYWHERE.

In the halls. In doorways. Over your locker. Over your rival's locker. Dangling over your head exactly when you least expected it. If you did not want to encounter it you were probably encountering it.

And they were persistent! They were under the grass pixie's watchful eye this year. Did it just move when you tried to shoot it? Was the shot reflected back at you?? WHAT.

To make matters worse, if you happened to find yourself under certain sprigs of the holiday plant, you were stuck there. STUCK FOR ETERNITY, or at least until you got a smooch. How perfectly, wonderfully devious. There was a certain witch to thank for that.

With everyone on alert after the dead body was found, it was unlikely that anyone would be so foolhardy to wander about the forest again, right?

The inactive volcano just East of the school grounds had been rumbling quite a bit ever since the Ancient Pokemon moved in. She rarely ever came down to the academy itself without cause - in fact, no one's probably seen her for a month. But the sun has been blazing down on the mountains without fail, meaning the Groudon was still out and about somewhere, causing her little localized drought.

Maybe you're concerned about the volcanic activity going on, or maybe you just happened to be in the forest near the foot of her mountain. Maybe you actually want to visit her, and have some tea and punchings. She'd like that.
