SMASHQUERADE
Who: Halloweenies (that's you).
What: A fabulous masquerade ball.
When: Monday, October 31st (that's Halloween). The deep, dark hours of the night (that's like eight PM onward).
Where: The Stadium.
Warnings: ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN ON HALLOWEEN
It was a dark and stormy night…
Well, no. It wasn't. In fact, it was rather cool and clear, a perfect October evening for the perfect October celebration. Stars winked above, the choice accompaniment to the orange moon looming overhead. Tonight. Tonight would be a party.
Perhaps in an effort to impress the various and sundry exchange students that now graced the halls of Smash Academy, the Headmasters seemed to go all-out in the stadium's simulation, the usual food tables and dance floor surrounded by cobwebs and candles and jack-o-lanterns of all shapes and sizes.
It was totally creepy, and also totally awesome.
The rules were in place: All attendees arrive masked, and when the clock strikes twelve, the disguises are removed. Not that people couldn't be identified by voice, of course, but hey, it's the thought that counts.
