Meanwhile, Henry stared in amazement and sighed dreamily. "Wow, would you look at that~"

"Oooh, like a demonstration," mused Henry, tilting the sword back and forth in his hand. He watched the blade with amusement, and looked down to the handle and his own hand. "I bet in unwieldy hands like mine, I'd probably destroy this place if I wasn't careful, ahaha~ You're right, there are probably better places to see what it does."
areiard: (huh?)

"You better clean up after yourself, I don't want stains left over." Schezo replied as he shook his head in disappointment.

"That may be a possibility." Schezo replied slowly, clearly looking unsure whether he'd like that to happen or not, "but I would figure nothing would happen if you do not know how to properly channel your powers through it."

"See, that's the thing," started the mage, gripping onto the handle with both hands and turning his focus back to Schezo. "I don't need an item to use magic, but it sure does give me a wicked boost. I think if I wanted to, I could channel magic through this. I'm just not so sure that's a great idea, if you know what I'm saying." He looked around. "I don't think the owners of this place would be too happy, ahaha~"

Schezo could care less of the surroundings. It wasn't his place, so what loss would it be if the inn blew up?

"That's true, there would be too many troublesome things to deal with if the building were to explode." Schezo replied. "Still, this makes me curious about magical items from different worlds."

Very curious for the dark wizard who wanted to acquire more power.

"That might mean that you'd be able to be taught the language of the magic tomes I'm familiar with," suggested Henry, his fingers dancing upon the blade of the Sword of Darkness. "It's tedious and all, but totally worth it. Besides, it's not that hard. Just a lot of getting used to the typical stuff you find on each page."

Finally, he quit fondling Schezo's sword ha ha aha haheh ahem for long enough to offer it back to him. It certainly had a unique feeling to it... Far different from a Levin Sword, he recalled, as those were fairly standard when it came to magic use.

schezo that's a horrible idea don't

Schezo gave a small grin in response. "All wizards back in my home world started off by reading countless magical texts to acquire magic spells, so with enough time, I should be able to learn it. I should consider lucky to run into the likes of you, now I have more of a reason to stay in this world."

He gave a pause, considering a thought. "Of course, I wouldn't say for free. I can lend you my Sword of Darkness if you'd like to attempt at conjuring your magic though it."

more like perfect idea, thank you schezo

"Wow, you'd do that?" asked Henry enthusiastically. "Sure, let's do that sometime! I won't damage your sword, I promise."
areiard: (I want...)

"We have a deal then," Schezo said with a nod, "perhaps we can discuss this more after this absurd hot springs trip is over with?"

"Aw, not here, huh? Alright, I'll be ready for the time that we can do this. After the trip, of course!"

Well, it made sense not to do it in here to him, at least... Working magic inside of buildings wasn't something many people appreciated, Henry learned.
areiard: (cold; unimpressed)

"Yes, thee is a time and place for such things." Schezo replied with a sigh and a small frown. If he were a little more matured as the dark wizard, Schezo may have reconsidered...but alas, he had not gotten to the point yet. Instead he picked his book back up, opening to the last page he was reading.

"I believe there is nothing else to talk about. Leave me alone so I can return to my reading."

So rude, Schezo.

Not too rude, at least. Henry's dealt with such requests before, and delivered far more harshly from a wide array of different people.

"Okay, I'll leave you be," said Henry. He rose to his feet with his tome in his hand and a smile on his face. "I'll see you some other time~"

With that, he headed off to leave Schezo to his reading. And probably to investigate the inhabitants of this place further.
