"Perhaps not, but neither is that bloody nose of yours. Honestly, I didn't even think I punched you that hard. I suppose that means this body is stronger than it appears..."
there just aren't any appropriate rage icons on my ladychili account 8'(
"Are you... saying I'm weak?!" screamed Chili. "I'm not weak! And you're not strong! I'll show you just how easy it is!"
And then she swung her own punch, aiming for Celes's face. She'd show him just how easy it was to give someone a bloodied nose! Sure, Chili just finished claiming that real charming people didn't hit, but here she was, throwing all that out the window just to prove another point.
I feel your pain, clearly their rage turned them back to normal
And as one would expect, the gambler lunged at Chili with the intention to knock her to the ground and beat the living shit right out of her.
it's hard, playing a rash and easily incited character...
The two of them fell to the ground, Chili below her attacker. She grunted, trying to wrestle out of Celes's grasp. "Two can play at this game!!" she yelled, summoning all of her strength in trying to roll Celes off of her so she could pin him against the floor. If she could, Chili had all intentions of doing the exact same thing: beating the shit out of Celes.
We didn't choose the thug life.. (I'm sorry)
you're not sorry at all. it's fact that RPers love to destroy their characters.
In turn, Chili used her new grasp on Celes's arm to push it away from not only her face, but to finally swing his body off her's. She pinned her down sloppily and hastily with her knee, and without giving it any aim and thought, slammed her own fist down against Celes's face.
This was not getting any prettier.
STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE!!
In the midst of their heated brawl, a jet of water burst in on the scene to burn it out, dousing the combatants in a continual gush of cold water. A hose? An industrial spray gun? Guess again!
And behind that beautiful creature stood a rather cross-looking girl with long blue twintails, her arms tucked over her chest and her hip jutting out insolently.
"Break it up."
MAKE ME
No serious, what the fuck just happened? One minute he was beating this dumb bitch's face in, the next he was getting his ass handed to him, and then Chili was over there and he was soaking wet. Looking dazed for a second, it took a few more seconds for Celes to realize what happened. Once he did, though, you can bet he was NOT HAPPY at ALL.
With a scoff, he got up, adjusted his now soaked cravat and walked over towards Cress glaring at her.
"You really should learn how to control your brute of a brother, Cress."
YOU ASKED
even with the initial popcorn.gif reaction that happened offscreen. "You speak as though he is my responsibility! Sometimes, idiots are just meant to be stupid. It cannot be helped."Sweeping her bang away from her face and coldly shifting her sights to somewhere far off in the distance, she continued her reprimand. "Besides, if I may add... It was you, Celes, who landed the first blow... Is Cress mistaken?"
no subject
"..."
And the Fire-type specialist did not look very pleased to be in this situation. Not at the water, not at the injuries, not at Celes, and not at Cress. Her silence was scathing. She'd just have to wait to see how the next few seconds panned out.

As Cress continued to scold Celes...or at least try to, he simply placed a hand on his hip and smiled. "No, you are correct; I did hit Chili, and I would gladly do it again if the oppurtunity presented itself. He...or rather, she, said something befitting of a pig to me, so I merely treated her as such. Family of my boy...er...girlfriend or not, I will not tolerate being treated so poorly."
no subject
"And anyway, Cress isn't responsible for me, so stop talking about me as though I'm some pet!!" ...Wait, Celes just called Cress his girlfriend. She could sort of pick up on the vibes, but... That just proved it, and she was going to have a talk with Cress. Later. About them breaking up. For now, she was too busy defending herself.
YEAH SORRY I'M NOT SORRY
She folds her arms and scoffs. "And you didn't even have the decency to apologize!" although truthfully, it wasn't like she expected the ignoramus to realize he did anything wrong. Chili wasn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.
who needs apologies, pssh
no subject
"Please! Both of you!" she cried, spreading her hands apart through the air as though to spread the two apart. "You're only making it worse! Let's stop fighting now and talk this over with cool heads."
It didn't bode well for her, knowing that two important people in her life were turning into fast enemies. She wasn't sure whose reported or observed behavior she was most disgusted with, but playing the blame game was useless because they were both being indignant and irrational with spite.
no subject
No, it's best not to think like that.
His hands shook as he held back the words, clamping his mouth shut so that he wouldn't say something worth regretting later. Finally, after a few seconds, Celes calmed himself down and sighed. "Fine. But I'm only doing this for you."
no subject
By this point, Chili was red in the face with anger.
no subject
"Chili? Cease at once. You're only exacerbating this situation! Cress will hear no more of it." She returned her finger to her own personal space and checked Celes, then Chili again, for good measure. She did not look pleased one bit. Panpour ambled closer to his trainer, hoping to remind her that he was there for her if she ever needed it again.
"Now. If it wouldn't be too much trouble... Don't you think apologies are in order?" YES. SHE'S LOOKING AT BOTH OF YOU...
no subject
Cress, you and Celes are going to have a little chat when this is over.
Gritting his teeth and clenching his fists as they shook, the gambler stood there trying to get a hold of himself. Finally, he let out the most begrudging "I'm sorry" ever to be uttered in the history of mankind.
no subject
But then, she turned to Cress, redirecting her eye contact. "I'm sorry," she replied back, but kept her eyes on Cress rather than Celes. She planted her hands on her hips, like the problem was fixed and Cress could just leave Celes now. Because this wasn't gonna fly with Chili.
no subject
But the tension still radiated between them. Cress was tempted to cut it. They would be dealing with each other in the future, whether they liked it or not.
"Now that we've come to an understanding that both of you have something to apologize for, why don't we move on?" She showed them a smile and held out her palm in the way she characteristically gestured. "Cress and Panpour were going to try out the spa together, so we will be taking our leave."
The invitation to join was up in the air for either of them to grab, and she wasn't sure whether they would even be interested in such an activity, but perhaps it would be best that they did not spend time together right now. So long as they parted ways, she could feel more at peace.

There were no repairs to this relationship. Not from Chili's perspective.
