Who: Max and Friends
What: Max tries to run a club about how to be a human
Where: The Gymnasium
When: Monday May 13th at 2pm
Warnings: Somebody will probably end up asking about how the plumbing works or why robots don't need to use the toilet or Max will end up showing everyone the best form for taking a shower or something.

Max had put up signs (he had made them himself with markers and poster board) and thought that they looked pretty great. They were, at least, legible. And they announced that there would be a meeting in the gymnasium for his learning how to be a human club idea. He didn't know where to hold the club, just yet. Not for permanent. But Max was most comfortable when near large weights or in a tank. And the gym was close to the weight room. And also the changing rooms, in case they needed to have a field trip on shower usage. Or toilet etiquette. Or something.

Anyway, it was in the gym. And people were going to come. He hoped. And he would be there to Instruct Them In The Ways Of Life.

Indeed, ever since that casual Monday outing turned tragic, civil unrest and tensions have been high again in FDC, and worse yet; fingers are starting to be pointed in Smash Academy's direction. After long since flying under the radar of this whole mess, no attacks have happened on the school yet, but who's to say how long that will last?

The city is tumultuous. It's not impossible to still have a completely incident-less outing, but it would be wise to not go out and about with your Smash Academy uniforms on for all to see. Not unless you like fearful whispers and hissing insults behind your back. Even a simple trip to the grocery store could prove dangerous if you aren't careful.

Maybe you're a little more creative however, and are able to purposefully mask features that might otherwise identify you, or you sneak around in the dead of night using the shadows as your cover...

Humans now tend to segregate themselves with other humans, "freaks" tend to ostracize anyone not of their kin, and all this negativity intensifies rapidly if those colorful candy pops are present. Crime and riots are now common than occasional. The FDC Police manages most of the affairs but they can't prevent everything, and would probably appreciate a helping hand regardless if it's from a human or a "freak"... though thanks and courtesy may go one way or another depending on who/what you are.

Who knows, maybe you'll save someone's life and give them a better appreciation for the things you do instead of what you are...

Get together with some of your buddies and go play masked vigilante against a group of drug thugs bullying someone who doesn't deserve it (or maybe they do, for all you know). Save someone from a burning building set on fire by some angry social justice warrior animals. Escort someone to the grocery store. Who: Jon and Evve
What: Jon shows off his transformation and they drag something down for dinner.
Where: The forest out back.
When: Forward dated to Saturday.
Warnings: Hunting and eating of wildlife, scary monsters and and cranky fuzzballs.

The scene had been the Library, earlier that week. Jon had asked to borrow a book from her and it had facilitated a discussion in which he'd promised to show her his transformation.

People were often interested, of course - he was the opposite of the Norm in this city. A man, born Human, who transformed into something else, sometimes against his will. He didn't tend to tell a lot of people the particulars, but he'd felt a little more comfortable with it of late. Especially with other non-humans, and really, he had Riwane to thank for that.

And so here he was, waiting out back of the school a little before six as had been decided. He hadn't bothered with a shirt considering it would just get destroyed anyway, but he did have his battered old bag with him containing a few essentials.

Now all he had to do was wait for his company to arrive.
