What: HOT SPRINGS: HOTEL EDITION
Where: The hot springs RESORT.
When: March 25th - March 29th
Warnings: Hotel shenanigans.

After a relatively normal bus ride, you find yourself at a secluded mountain resort.



The hotel is all-inclusive, with every manner of amenities and activities (skewed toward the relaxing--with saunas and spas and hot tubs aplenty) to keep one occupied for a full five days. Time for some much needed R & R.

It's dangerous to go alone. Take this!

28th; The One Where Karma Sucks [Closed]

So the springs themselves were a little too hot for Mary. But there were also tinier pools and fountains just by the parking lot, just big enough to soak tired feet in. And the temperature was a lot more tolerable, too!

Mary had taken to splashing around in those, sometimes stepping off into the snow and then right back in again, giggling at the extreme temperature differences. Other times she'd just walk in a big circle on the asphalt of the parking lot instead to see how many footprints she could leave behind until her feet dried. Either way, she seemed to be enjoying herself.

After speaking with Vianca, Eli didn't have to go on in order to find Mary. She wasn't about to go sneaking around in student files, either. Not until Mary's network post that followed shortly after Vianca's did Eli finally have a better idea of who she was looking for.

For stripping Vianca of her petals, it was only fair that Mary should hurt just as much. Poisoned or scarred or strangled. Eli wouldn't attack the blonde while anybody was around to see it or to stop it, though, and she was willing to be patient for the perfect opportunity. Any time they had managed to cross paths at the academy, Eli had simply let her walk past.

Eli wasn't expecting to find an opportunity at the hot springs resort, but found one when she'd followed Mary into the parking lot. Empty, other than the two of them. The snake approached Mary from behind, moving slowly across the warm asphalt. Once she was close enough, the only warning Eli offered was a loud hiss before she struck Mary, aiming her bite at the young girl's neck.

She'd never heard a hissing noise like that before. Her first thought was of a deflating balloon, but even that didn't seem quite right. She turned her head to seek out whatever made the sound, but the source found her first, teeth sinking right into the delicate flesh of either side of her neck. The force sent Mary toppling over sideways, letting out a high pitched shriek of surprise that was quickly cut off.

Where did this giant snake come from? Why was it hurting her? Without thinking too deeply into it, she pounded her little fists against Eli's hood and tried to scream again, but the pressure on her throat made it hard to breathe.

Mary wasn't strong enough to push Eli away, but she withdrew anyway. She loosened her fangs from Mary's neck and pulled away. Only to strike a second time, at her shoulder instead, and she pulled back much quicker.

In a second, she popped into her human form. She unfolded herself from whatever uncomfortable position she ended up in, then was on Mary again. A knee on either side of the young blonde's chest, and Eli slammed her fist hard towards Mary's face.
