Blind Dates: B TABLES.
What: BLIND DATES! Round 2.
Who: Anyone who was sent a note with the letter-number combination B#.
Where: Off-campus restaurant. AND BEYOND!
When: November 30th, eveningtimes.
Warnings: ???
ALSO, HEY, TAG YOUR CHARACTERS WHEN YOU REPLY TO THIS LOG. ♥
[The second group has been told to find some place somewhat out of the way. It's at the other end of the city, and maybe a little harder to find than the others. The dining room is bigger than it looks from the outside, though, and it's actually rather nice. There's quiet music playing overhead. There seems to be a little of everything on the menu, but it all does seem a little fancy. It's expensive, but it's not like you're paying, right?
It might have been smart to dress nice- but not too nice- for your date. At least that's what Gold suggested!
There's a candle at every table. Beside each candle, there is a card. On each card, there is a different letter-number combination.
Find your table!
And feel free to leave at any time, with or without your date.]

TABLE B1: character whose name starts with S posts first.

He looks more annoyed than anything else, but inwardly, he's a little nervous. What if he's been assigned an ugly chick? What would he do, just leave? Pretend to be sick? He's normally the type full of insults ready to just spew out, but his stomach is in a bit of a knot and he doesn't feel like he will want to, or be able to insult a potentially ugly blind date.
He slowly peers at the tables, looking for his number. Finally, he spots the table he remembers reading about in the letter he received, and he immediately pulls out a chair and sits down. The other chair is empty.
Maybe she won't show up.

She enters the restaurant with card in hand, scanning the tables for the letter and number combination that matches her own. When she catches sight of the baseball cap, Zelda isn't quite sure what to think, but she certainly won't let that deter her--a princess is never rude, after all.
So she approaches and smiles warmly.
"Good evening. Table B1?"

, sparkle, and sit down. The restaurant was elegant and decidedly low-key with a contemporary flair. Rather dark, though, but he supposed that was in keeping with setting the mood for an evening date.He wasn't nervous about meeting his date. Why, he'd been on quite a few before. The only amount of anticipation that rose within him was the prospect of awaiting his company for the night, imagining all sorts of possibilities. It was fun to think about, keeping in mind of course that Smash Academy was host to the strangest variety of people he'd ever known... Whoever showed up to the vacant seat before him, he looked forward to an enjoyable evening with them.

After some hesitance, Marie timidly found his table. It wasn't a pretty lady, but he ended up being a little relieved about that, actually. Much less pressure...
He tried to pull his seat out as unobtrusively as possible, sat down, and shrugged at Cress as if that was some sort of decent greeting for Cress.

why is he here against his will.
why is he here against his will even though he tried to hound down the boy running this thing to stop him.
why is he here because of all of the above. WHY DIDN'T HE SUCCEED IN CONTACTING THIS BOY.
Shadow didn't know, but here he was anyway, sitting grumpily at the dinner table, however formally. it didn't reduce his manners, that's for sure, leaving him cross-legged with his hands neatly in his lap.
it better not have been anyone he despised... ]

Not only was it someone you didn't know, but not a buttmunch either.
Garry signed up WILLINGLY. He's been in a rut and thought hey, maybe he needed to go out. Garry was usually on the broke to slightly broke side. Enough to get by, in any case. But hey, nice restaurant. And the opportunity to wear nice clothes.
No worries, Shadow. He wasn't looking for a "date" date either, just wants a lovely time with a stranger who might be just as lovely a person.
Hey he can wish, the whole blind date thing was cute.
So here he is. Oh wow, he didn't bring his coat either. He came just as.
He noticed this guy was at the spot he was told to go to. Hm. Indeed, someone he didn't know. How exciting!]
Ah, hello. You must be here for the blind dates? This is my assigned table.

But you know what? This could be fun. A blind date didn't mean she was signed up on a contract with that someone else either.
Putting on her best dress, she arrived first and sat down at her assigned seating. There were no wings nor a tail tonight; she figured she was getting better at the skill now that she could keep it in check the entire night...
...but just in case, she did pick the chair away from the crowd that would allow a flaming tail to suddenly appear, if she got a little too emotional. Now it was just a question of waiting. For a Fire type, that was probably the hardest thing of all. The question of who it was was almost eating at her.]

The email from Gold had suggested she dress nice, so she wore a dress and braided her hair.
As soon as she found the place and let herself in, she noted the people in the restaurant she didn't like. Then she found her table-- still empty-- and took her seat.

Chili arrived at a reasonable time and... realized that he'd left his table card back in his dorm room. Oops. He tried to remember the number of his table as he walked past some of the tables that just didn't seem to be his. It was time to play the Recall Game: "B5, B6, B7...? No, B8's got to be my date!" he said to himself, pleased with the rhyme. Chili sat down in one of the chairs and kicked back - he didn't appear to be nervous about this at all. Now all he needed to do was wait.

So this school was like that, huh...? Well, he just wouldn't support it and would keep himself uninvolved entirely!
Unfortunately, the thing about the (former) students of Hope's Peak is that they simply cannot resist when given a mysterious note with a time and place on it. He didn't even make the connection to the dates, seeing as he didn't even sign up. Whatever it was, he didn't want to let the other person down, and so he made sure to arrive at the restaurant a good fifteen minutes early.
His uniform kind of stood out amongst all the more casual outfits being sported at other tables.
god help these two indeed
They're pretty much beyond help.
but that makes for amusing things for us
Does that mean we're bad people?
