Culinary Arts: Log 03

What: People failing at cooking
Where: Where ever Volgin's class is.
When: October 20th, early afternoon before Art Class.
Warnings: Angry Russian.


[Last week was a sad excuse for a proper class. Seeing as Kyle had no teaching experience, Raikov decided to take things in to his own hand. He had a lot of free time thanks to 2 and a half weeks without Volgin... which was starting to wear on him. So this meant he was going to be extra snippy today, both with culinary arts and art class.]

Alright, class. Unlike last week, you're going to all be making the same thing. Open your books to page 57.

We will be making Chicken Kiev. It's a fairly easy recipe. Please follow it as closely as possible.

[Yeah Raikov's been snippy indeed. Try dealing with him daily :|. For Vanni, this whole damn empathy thing is hard as hell to begin with, and unhappy friend makes it worse. And it's one of his trigger days so this one's a bit tired emotionally, and probably has been trying very hard not to snap at people. But still he marches on! Vanni's just here to try to give the poor Russian a hand if needed. Also he will totally make THE BEST EATS. Or at least try to.]

[Oh man. Chicken. Bulba hasn't made a huge leap into the world of cooking with meat, but he's at least made a few chicken meals. He's feeling confident! And is convinced this recipe needs some cheese somewhere but hhhh. Anyway, things go pretty well all the up until it came down to the rolling. Rolling chicken correctly, how do!? It doesn't really want to stick for him all that well.

This is.

STUPID.

Whatever he puts his imperfect chicken rolls in the dish and bakes them.

SO THERE ARE HIS CHICKEN KIEV. More flopped over than they ought to have been, and Bulba is just staring them down as if they were the worst things in all the world.]

[Oh hey all of the students are gone, Silver's just going to pop in for a couple of ice cubes or something for that shiner of his. He would have popped in during class but then Raikov would probably make him bake rainbow cupcakes or something and he just didn't feel like potentially getting off his apathetic rear to cook for a class he doesn't even take.]
