[open log] meteor shower
Who: Anyone!
What: Meteor shower time! SO INTENSE
Where: Anywhere you choose~
When: futuredated, Thursday, August 12th. Any time that's dark is good for seeing stars, 8 or later; it goes in to the early morning of the 13th, too.
Just as promised, tonight was going to be a night full of shooting stars.

From anywhere in Final Destination City, these beautiful streaks of light can be seen dashing across the sky. Why not use the night to take your date out and watch the stars together? Perhaps a new relationship could form. Or break. Maybe a wish could come true. The sky was simply stunning, and the weather allowed for a comfortable atmosphere. It's a nice night to go out and watch the night sky.
[[OOC: Go ahead and make your own character threads! Mark them with a time so people don't throw babies into 4 o'clock threads if they shouldn't be there. That'd be awesome. Go nuts. If you need some more information, I based it off of the Perseid meteor shower, so hopefully that could help you out.]]

Lake, 2 am
That's what Giovanni had wondered when he has seen the entry on the network about the meteor shower. Hm...Silver had been 8 then.
Four years.
Well, they could start over again. It would take work, but they'd make it a habit once more.
Of course, he practically had to drag the boy to the lake where they could watch them in private, the silver streaks across the sky reflecting in the cool waters. How mesmerizing it would be.
This night could be important in their relationship. After all, he'd almost lost his son, he wanted tonight to go well. He'd even made some hot chocolate and bought some peanut butter cookies (because him making them would have been a colossal failure), his son's favorites. Yes, it could go well tonight indeed.
If he could wake his son up first, that is.
The boy was passed out on the sofa in the living room, and he had found out these past few nights that his son slept even heavier than before he had left. So after trying everything, he finally had to use a cold water technique- but just putting the boy's hand in some. "Silver, wake up..."
Re: Lake, 2 am
That didn't work out so well, once he was up he was up regardless of whether or not he wanted to be. He contemplated how much it sucked living with him and during various points of his day wanting to put his fist through the wall a couple of times for no real reason whatsoever. Not now of course, being too tired to really get to that level of anger and frustration. All this he thought in the span of a few minutes while he faced the back cushions and blinked a few times so his eyes could adjust to being awake.
After that little episode of self pity he sat up. "What do you want?" he grumbled, not quite remembering that message about the meteor shower tonight.

The crescent moon was beneath the horizon as the two arrived at the lake, the stars shimmering above, reflecting in the lake in front of them. Giovanni spread out the sheet for them, and carefully sat on it, opening the thermos and bag of cookies. "I assume you remember these?"
