What: HOT SPRINGS: HOT SPRINGS EDITION
Where: Hot springs. Different hot springs. Not the hot springs that turned everyone into six year olds.
When: March 25th - March 29th
Warnings: Cursed springs. Sex swapping.

Right outside the resort is the main attraction, a collection of natural hot springs, separated by gender with a co-ed spring in the middle. Despite it being late March, there's still a dusting of snow on the ground, making the warm springs all the more inviting.

If the main resort area is too crowded for you, there are whispers of a secluded, private spring down a secret path. It's supposed to be very nice--if you can find it.



It's dangerous to go alone. Take this!

Pit - Secret Springs! Night of the 26th

Naturally, Pit, being so gung-ho about hot springs as he is, had to dunk himself in every pool possible- even the ones that only went as high as his ankles. So when he found the secret springs, he was overjoyed and did not hesitate one bit to take a dip.

He did not realize this as a fatal error. Not even after the fact.

He stayed there for quite a while, relaxing in this lonesome tranquility. What he didn't notice, however, was that his... er, "sacred treasures" had undergone quite a modification. That was it, though. His hair length and everything else about him hadn't really changed much. And he was wearing clothes- tight black underarmor that, to the observer, would still betray his sex swap by the way its wet fabric clung so tightly against his perky chest. But how could he notice when it was submerged beneath the water?

Wow, it sure was getting lonely back here, though. Pit silently hoped someone else would find this secret spring and join in.

He always seems to show up at exactly the right time, Kyogre does. He arrived at the secret spring to find a familiar angel soaking in the benefits of the water. He smiled, not even having to look at Pit's new assets to know what was now true-- he had been making frequent trips back there, either soaking alone and opting to change his sex back to male post bath (so none would be any the wiser), or "stumbling" upon confused students and faculty. It was a good racket.

"Oh~" He purred, "Hello, Pit. Did you want some privacy?"

Oh! It was the ancient literature teacher, right? She wasn't taking the class this time since he didn't know how to read, but she still knew who he was. "Oh, hey! No, not at all! It's getting kind of lonely over here, actually, so some company would be appreciated!"

"Oh, excellent," He made a movement to join Pit in the water, but before setting foot in the spring, he motioned towards the angel with his head.

"And for the record, you're taking the transformation very well..."

"Huh? Transformation?" She was looking at him like he'd been the one who took on a transformation. "What transformation?" She looked down at herself and- oh, herself...

A scream broke the air and the angel dove underwater to hide.

Perfect reaction. Ten points. Kyogre tutted.

"Ah, hombre, it's nothing I haven't seen be..."

But Pit was underwater. Kyogre counted on his fingers to see how long the lack of oxygen and oppressive heat would take to force the angel back up to the surface again.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7- oh look, thar she blows! She reeled back her head and sucked in a gasp of air, face having changed color to match rose petals. Pit seemed rather frightened and concerned about 'her' condition.

"Wh-wh-wh-what's going on here?! I'm... I'm... I'm a girl!" Her hands were clasping her chest in a rather unladylike manner, though it certainly was demure.

"And aren't you cute?" Kyogre giggled, tossing his towel onto Pit's head for potential boob coverage.

"This spring is cursed-- I was pretty surprised to find someone who can't change their appearance at will taking a bath here... But then, I guess no one really puts up a sign for that kinda thing, hm?"

"Ohhh, I should have known not to go swimming in every puddle I cross paths with without expecting at least one of them to have a curse!" cried Pit, as though cursed springs were a common everyday experience. Well, for the folks in FDC, they sure were. But as for Pit, he'd been dealing with bizarre crap like this since he began breathing. ANGEL LAND SURE IS WEIRD. She pulled the terry cloth coverage off her head and held it in front of her to fold it in half, not concerned with concealing her assets anymore now that she had grown a bit more used to the idea that it happened in the first place.

"It's not your fault," Kyogre sighed. "Besides, I can't imagine your new... outlook will hang around forever. I thought there seemed to be a lot of new students walking around the resort..."

"So it's not just me, then. I can't really blame anyone who lays eyes on this beauty," she said, gesturing to the waters around her with one hand. "You don't have to be a hot spring fanatic to want to slip right in.

"But I'm glad it's not permanent. Even if it doesn't just go away on its own, I'm sure there's some kind of reversal method out there." Like the Rewind Spring! That place totally saved his butt back there from being permanently out-of-commission. "Where there's a curse, there's a cure!"

"A reversal method... you think so?" That certainly would be an interesting development. What other kinds of springs could one find here? What kind of trouble could someone get into?

"Well, yeah. I've been through quite a few curses in my day. There's always a way out. Like, they have nurses for that kind of stuff. Goddess magic? There's a ton of options."

Kyogre crossed his arms. He didn't know much about Pit, but it was obvious he was from a very different world. The deities the angel spoke of had nothing to do with the Pokemon's extended family.

"Goddess magic."

"Yup! Goddess magic," she repeated proudly. "Lady Palutena knows how to cure a whole mess of curses. If I can't fix this myself, she'll know what to do!"

Pit seemed very confident about this. So much that her hands were on her hips and her chest puffed out. It's like all the worry of permanence had dissolved completely- or more aptly put, been replaced by absolute conviction.

Kyogre placed a hand on his chin in a thoughtful pose.

"But... 'Lady Palutena'. I don't know anyone named that at this school."

"She may not be at this school, but that doesn't mean she's not in Skyworld! And me, being- oh, wait a sec! You don't know who she is? Well, just in case, she's the great Goddess of Light who watches over Angel Land, which is preeeeetty far away from this place if you ask me. And I'm her angel."

A smile crept back onto Kyogre's face. It wasn't so terribly different, after all.

"I see. You serve under her?"

"Proudly!" he declared with a firm nod of his head.

[oceanshaper]

"So then just give her a call, and you should be fine... Right?"

Pit held a stupid grin and a poised index finger for a bout 3 solid seconds. Then, he dropped both of them.

"I can't just call her... I have bad reception here."

[oceanshaper]

"You reach your goddess by cellphone?"

That was a new one. Modern society, what a trip.

"No. I think you call it telepathy," he replied, too casually.

Kyogre nodded, whirling a hand in the air.

"Oh, yes. I have that, too."

This statement nabbed his attention. "You do?" It wasn't a ridiculous notion, but a vast majority of the crowd did not possess telepathic communications abilities. Not that Pit actually had them unless he was "hooked up" to a more almighty heavenly powerhouse, but it counted! "So what's your story? Immortal? Psychic?"
