What: HOT SPRINGS: HOT SPRINGS EDITION
Where: Hot springs. Different hot springs. Not the hot springs that turned everyone into six year olds.
When: March 25th - March 29th
Warnings: Cursed springs. Sex swapping.

Right outside the resort is the main attraction, a collection of natural hot springs, separated by gender with a co-ed spring in the middle. Despite it being late March, there's still a dusting of snow on the ground, making the warm springs all the more inviting.

If the main resort area is too crowded for you, there are whispers of a secluded, private spring down a secret path. It's supposed to be very nice--if you can find it.

It was the second morning there. Chili wasn't sure why so many people were freaking out about turning into girls and how they managed to make that happen to them, but it wasn't about to happen to him! No way! He'd chalked it up to them just having bad luck, and if it hadn't happened to Chili, it sure wasn't about to!

But he wanted to go for another dip in the hot springs. Ah... that would be nice. Early, early in the morning, Chili headed out with a towel and entered the unisex springs, wondering if he might find somebody he knew there. Like Cress or something, considering... what happened to him. Her. Erm.

Well, at least he thought he was headed for the unisex springs. The trail sure was windy to get there!

Once he found the secret spring, Chili smiled broadly. "Whoa, I must've found a secluded spot! All right!" he said to nobody in particular. Needless to say, he was pleased with his find. And then, he went to take a step in. He stuck his foot in and decided that it was time to relax.

It's time to relax is synonymous with it's time to experience regret.

"Hello," chirped a deep voice, as Kyogre stood outside of the spring.

"Huh?" Chili was gonna spin around to figure out who it was but then he slipped.

"Who- WAAH!"

And then he fell gracelessly into the water. When he lifted his wet head out of the water, his hair was way, way longer than it was moments ago.

"Kyogre?!" It seems she hasn't caught on yet, even though it should now be really obvious that there is much more to this situation than the appearance of Kyogre. Chili was just more concerned about being surprised like that!

"Ah, I'm sorry, Chili. I must have surprised you." Yeah, obviously. The water type tilted his head to the side, indicating the ex- Gym Leader's chest.

"I was just about to ask what you were doing hovering around the cursed spring like you were."

"Cursed spring?" What? Huh? Why...?

Chili looked to the side at his wet hair that didn't feel right. Then he looked down at himself, at everything else that didn't feel right.

Then, the trainer screamed.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" Chili stood up abruptly and pulled at her hair. IT COULDN'T BE...

Kyogre's mouth pulled into a tight line, trying hard not to smile as he flushed and averted his gaze to the right of Chili's body.

"You're a woman, man."

"I can see that! I'm not an idiot!"

If he was a girl now, then... Oh, shit. Chili crossed her arms and tried to cover herself to the best of her ability. This was really embarrassing...! This could hardly even be called his body anymore!

"H-How do I change back?! What do I do?!"

"Hmn, I don't think there is a change back pool... You probably just have to wait for it wear off, right?"

He shrugged.

Uuugh. Uuuugh. Chili huffed, looking down at the water she stood in. She just wanted to curl up and wait for it to go away... This was awful!

"What if it's permanent...? Oh, wait, I got an idea! What if I step out, then step back in again?! Maybe that will work!"

So she tried it. Chili turned around and stepped onto a rock, then jumped back in. ...Needless to say, nothing changed.

"Seriously?!" she growled.

Kyogre sighed.

"I doubt it's permanent-- they didn't even bother to tell you, did they? This could make things confusing around school if a lot of other people found the spring, though..."

"Do you mean that there was some kind of announcement about this?!" Chili snapped, placing her fists on her hips. "I sure didn't hear about it!"

"No, I mean there was no announcement. So I'm guessing it's not as serious as all that? Just... enjoy the new perspective while you can?"

The legendary bent down to grab Chili's towel off of the ground, and handed it off to the redhead.

"You might want this?"

"I-- Uhhh... Whoops. Yeah, thanks, ahahah," Chili replied, her face growing hot at the realization that she was being pretty indecent like this. She reached to retrieve the towel from Kyogre and wrapped it around her form before stepping out of the springs.

"First Cress, and now me! I didn't know this was how it was done," moaned Chili in dismay. "I hope it passes soon. Hey, maybe it'll work like a cold, and just blow over in a few days! You're right. I just need to ride it out." With a free hand, he pumped a determined fist and stares at Kyogre determinedly. Finally, a smile appeared on her features once again!

He mirrored Chili's smile, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Yes, radical! You've got it, dude. But, ah, did you say the same fate befell your brother, too?"

"Yep," she confirmed with an added nod. "I guess I never asked him how it happened. Dammit, I should have, though! This could have been avoided entirely!"

This, and all of the embarrassment that came with it. Wow, she really was a girl, huh...? She pulled her towel around herself a bit tighter, making a confused face at her body. Cress... sure turned out different than she did, in form. Chili wouldn't have expected such a contrast between the two girls, considering they had such a similar form as boys.

Kyogre gave a good natured shrug in the face of Chili's obvious discomfort.

"Maybe it would help if you went to go find her-- Cress might have some advice, you know?"

Chili snorted, and mumbled under her breath, "Cress and I are still boys, you know. I'm not a girl..." But then he looked back up and decided to give the face that said he might consider the suggestion.

"Like what would he have to say? It's not like he's been a girl for his whole life or anything." Chili shrugged.

Kyogre raised an eyebrow.

"He's been one for longer than you have." Nevermind that Kyogre himself had spent years as a woman. He had no read advice to give, anyhow.

"By like, twenty-four hours at best!" she pointed out. Well, that was something rather than nothing. She sighed. "I guess so... Geez."
