I miss video games
Who: Errybody
What: HOT SPRINGS: HOT SPRINGS EDITION
Where: Hot springs. Different hot springs. Not the hot springs that turned everyone into six year olds.
When: March 25th - March 29th
Warnings: Cursed springs. Sex swapping.
Right outside the resort is the main attraction, a collection of natural hot springs, separated by gender with a co-ed spring in the middle. Despite it being late March, there's still a dusting of snow on the ground, making the warm springs all the more inviting.
If the main resort area is too crowded for you, there are whispers of a secluded, private spring down a secret path. It's supposed to be very nice--if you can find it.

It's dangerous to go alone. Take this!
((OOC: Event info is here! The secret spring is cursed. Please remember to note location/time in your top level comments, and link back and forth when you threadhop! Hotel shenanigans go here, and please don't hesitate to contact a mod if you have any questions.))

SAMUS - Woman's spring or Co-ed Spring (open)
Was this what getting older and more jaded felt like? Maybe it was a little nice... felt like heat sinking in her tender back muscles, and soothing water running over her bare skin. Her home hot tub was nice, but this was rather luxurious in comparison.
It would be a lie to say she wasn't completely unobservant; bounty hunter habits died hard after all. The times she was in the women's only spring was for the purpose of added privacy and she certainly wouldn't appreciate that being interrupted (or peeped on, bathing unashamedly nude as she was). Co-ed spring was a different story (a towel was at least definitely present) but Samus was not exactly very social to begin with, keeping to the empty and secluded boundaries of the spring and looking like she didn't want to be bothered.
...especially since she was still wearing her gun in and out of all the springs, strapped tightly to her thigh.
Women's Spring~
Liquid was never the most modest of people himself, but walking into the women's hot springs was entirely accidental. His mind was distracted for once; no excuse, he knew, but it did happen sometimes.
It took just a moment - just long enough to notice the blonde woman - for him to realize. "...Ah. Excuse me," he began and started to turn and leave.
...It was then that his eyes laid upon something... enticing. Something smooth and firm, just the right size for a strong hand to grasp. Pausing, he glanced back to eye it again, unabashedly. After all, what was the point in shame?
"You must have a good hand if you're able to handle a gun like that with your hands wet," he remarked, intrigued.

"..."
No. He saw something he liked. He was either very brave, or very foolish, Samus decided.
Slowly, she reached for the pistol and removed it from the holster. It broke the surface of the steamy spring waters glistening and dripping, but still entirely functional. Samus made no effort to remove the safety, and opted to twirl it lazily around her finger. Hardly with the flair of Ocelot's gun-twirling, but casually enough none the less.
"Would you like to find out?" It was an invitation, a challenge, and a threat all in one. Not once did she take her eyes off him the entire time, like a hunter staring down prey.
no subject
She felt incredibly modest next to the blonde. If she'd had any plans of removing the towel she was hugging to her, the desire seemed to melt away rather quickly. Samus was undoubtedly taller, stronger, more curvaceous from what Voile could see. So that was what it meant to be a real human woman. Voile's hands lifted and she played at the odd little spikes that poked out from under her head. She wondered idly if she would have been happier to be more like Samus. What a pretty woman.
When she realised she was staring, she swallowed whatever courage she had left and bashfully cleared her throat. "Uhm. Hello! Do you mind if I join you?"
no subject
To Voile's, she raised a brow questioningly.
"Technically you already have." That wasn't necessarily a YES or a NO but pointing out the fact this was one, large, singular body of water they were, indeed, technically already sharing. Samus didn't look terribly inviting but she didn't make any obvious effort to shoo the student away either.
If anything her blue eyes briefly flickered to the odd little spikes that adorned her head. It was a fleeting but curious observation.
no subject
It wasn't the smoothest way for things to begin, admittedly. But it was better than a whole slew of other possibilities that Voile had been circulating about in her mind. Samus wasn't actually telling her to get out and one had to take what they could get. Besides, it was an opportunity to get to know her, which was really the Gardevoir's intent. It never hurt to acquaint herself with another.
Or so she hoped.
Then she nodded and settled down, trying not to fidget with her hands. Upon the realisation that she couldn't bring herself to stop that just yet, she simply did so where Samus couldn't see. "You're... one of the instructors, right? I have seen you around a lot, but I'm not in your class, so I don't really know what you teach..."
no subject
Wouldn't be the first time long-time students had little knowledge of her class. Some students had never even seen a gun before in their entire life, let alone handle one in her class. From her visits with Kanto, Pokemon themselves seemed to replace the need for firearms for all their spectacularly versatile (and destructive) abilities. Mostly, anyway. Wouldn't put it past any of the other supernatural shape-shifting creatures in the same vein.
Much the same, Samus knew the student's face, knew she was a student and if she had to make an educated guess from the head ornaments and unusually colored hair and eyes, not likely "human". That was fine, and she felt at ease in her presence; Samus wasn't entirely "human" either.
"It's never too late to sign up if you're interested." She offered.
no subject
Except Voile didn't ask because she was pretty sure even with an explanation, she wouldn't get it at all. It just sounded complicated and she wasn't good with anything that was complex. Because she was complex.
Instead, she blinked as she listened to Samus and somewhere along the lines of thought, she'd begun to play with her hair. There certainly was a lot of it and in the event that she felt a little unguarded, she could always hide beneath it. Although she supposed in hindsight, that would have made her seem not only uninteresting, but also quite the glaring vulnerability. Not that Voile ever would have claimed to be anything in the category as possibly formidable.
"I..." she began somewhat weakly, wondering if she should just be honest or play a modest card. "...have no idea what any of that is. I-I mean, weaponry speaks for itself. I don't know how to use anything like that and..." So maybe it was better just to get to the core of things. "What... exactly do you instruct?" Because the more she thought about it, the more she believed Samus was teaching her students how to use some kind of weaponry.
no subject
"Armed Weaponry is learning how to use long-range weapons." She answered dryly and factually, with no condescending tone. "I used to teach a broad spectrum when I first came here--anything from guns to bows and arrows, but as more faculty has been hired, I focus more on guns. It's what I'm most familiar with."
She paused only to assess the other woman's reactions, or if what she was saying seemed to make any sense before continuing.
"Biomech is short for Biomechanical Engineering. It's... a bit more of a hobby for me. I teach what it means to integrate technology with biology. Prosthetic limbs, cybernetics..."
There was a slightly longer pause this time, just a fraction of a second longer. More importantly her stoic face cracked; her brows furrowed, subtle as it was. "...Bioweaponry."
no subject
She saw the way Samus' expression changed over time as she spoke. Was... this bioweaponry something she was passionate about? The gardevoir wasn't sure she wanted to start prying into feelings in any form. Not for this woman. Some things were not for her to know and she doubted Samus would appreciate it much if she started digging around in either the mental or emotional dealings she had going on.
Voile couldn't tell if she readily could do such a thing anyway.
"That... actually sounds very fascinating. Notably I don't understand every part of it, but I'd not considered crossing technology and biology. I suppose... I am more biologically adept. I don't really know anything about technology." Then she smiled sheepishly, "I only got one of those cute... mobile devices a couple months ago, and I've been here for a few years. It's a little silly."
no subject
It was a touchy subject.
"A phone?" Samus guessed. "This planet still has a long way to come in terms of technology, comparatively to what I'm used to." It wasn't bragging so much as observation.
"There's been some surprises for me down here though." She elaborated, "Pokeballs, for example."
BOTH SPRINGS
So while Falcon did not infringe on the privacy of the ladies, he was not necessarily above peeking through a crack in the fence to locate just where along the side of the spring Samus was resting and relaxing. He could definitely understand her wanting to get away from the co-ed springs, but why go where he could not follow. It tore his heart asunder as only she could tear.
Having located the back of her head, he pressed himself to the tiny peephole
and whispered.
"Psst. Samus."
no subject
Consequently spying on her...
"Am I going to have to guess who you are..."
She dryly answered the mysterious voice whispering at the back of her head.
no subject
If she didn't know it was him, of course, he certainly wasn't going to tell her. It was too much fun to be a total butt.
"Or you could come over here and find out for yourself."
no subject
She slowly turned around, sinking lower into the water before lurching out of it, and resting on her elbows, breasticles conveniently hidden by the rocks at the water's edge.
"I'm over here for a reason." Her eyes darted to the top of the fence, then around, looking for any immediate, obvious cracks.
no subject
By this point, Falcon was mostly certain he'd given himself away, but the intention hadn't really been to disguise himself.
"I can list them for you, if you want."
no subject
"I'll humor you." His list surely would give him away if he wasn't trying to disguise himself. By now she'd spotted a sizable peep hole and shuffled nearer to it, sounds of disturbed spring water and her voice being closer indicative of this.
"List them for me."
no subject
Falcon was sure there were billions of reasons, practically. They'd be here until nightfall if he were to list them all.
"I am also more attractive than anything in that spring. I guarantee that too. I can go on if you like."

Co-ed spring with AWKWARD ANGELS
bearbare removing any clothes, especially when her body became so foreign to her that it boggled her merely to peer downward, so she sported her underarmor, which, she guessed, was kind of like a swimsuit when you look at it the right way. She'd been yelled at for soaking in fully-clothed and eventually gave way to this acceptable substitute of conduct.Amid the misty steam she spotted a glint of blonde hair and recognized the woman it was attached to with a surge of delight that was accompanied by a sour aftertaste of mild embarrassment. It wouldn't be too weird to greet her in this form, right? She'd understand! Treading water, he made his approach and swam up next to her. It was clear from the get-go that the angel was flustered about something (okay, maybe a couple things).
"Hhhhey there! What's cooking? Sure hope it's not you." GAH that was SO BAD. Even she realized this.
"I mean- you're cooking, all right! In a good way." MENTAL FACEPALM. No no she needs to FIX this and PRONTO.
"I'm not trying to come onto you! I was just... making a joke. You know. Ha ha." Funny...

Samus didn't notice anything different at all.If Samus did immediately notice anything about Pit--perhaps just the way his body was slightly smoother in some areas (maybe he just put on a little weight?too much angel food?) or a difference in his voice (it was cold season, wasn't it? ...could angels catch colds?)--it was immediately off-set by that awful greeting."..." She stared at him. Blinked a couple of times incredulously. Perhaps what little sense of humor Samus had might have came to Pit's rescue, but apparently it was somewhere down at the bottom of the spring at the moment.
"Do you want to back up and try that introduction again? I can pretend this one didn't happen."
no subject
no subject
"As much as I can." Which was about as good as the bounty hunter could get in letting her guard down. The springs were, for the most, relaxing and enjoyable. Though she had to question the little bit of backpedaling Pit did with his exclamation.
"Most of it?"
no subject
With heat rising to her cheeks, she pointed to her chest, the most obvious sign she had that there was definitely something amiss with what should be 'his' body. They weren't dramatically different in size, but anyone could detect this plushy difference if asked to.
"Don't go swimming around in any old puddle, okay?"
no subject
"Pit are you flashing your tits at me..." Samus asked."A cursed spring." She parroted. "Why does this not surprise me."
At the evidence presented, Samus narrowed her eyes, scrutinizing his/her chest. Objectively, of course; not unlike how one would examine a slab of meat at the market.
"This cursed spring... where was it? Do you remember?"
