Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's how this works. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Just add a thread with the room number (and date/time, if it matters) and the characters that reside there (just for reference!). You do not have to use one character's thread as a dual-purpose for both characters if you do not want to. Doesn't have to be a dorm room, either, if you have something else in mind. It could be the common room or the student science lab or wherever. So how's that first week of school been treating you? How big's your pile of homework? Sure, you could be doing that. But why do that when you could decimate your friendships by playing a round of Giana Party 4? Host a girl's-only slumber party! Spy on a girl's-only slumber party! Dare someone to spend the night in the haunted dorm! Slip a (fake) love letter beneath that special someone's door! Etcetera, etcetera... I'm sure you can think of something to get your bad self up to.

Who: Cyrus, ethics students, lookieloos, whoever else wants to be there
What: first ETHICS CLASS of the term
Where: Monday, 1 pm
When: classroom

After everything that had happened over the past year, it was what others may call a "relief" to return to a normal school schedule.

Of course, Ethics Class had never been normal, so the term was comparable.

Cyrus arrived an hour before class time, though all he had prepared by the time 1 rolled around was writing his and the class's name on the board. Anyone entering would see him seated straightly at the desk, occasionally muttering to himself, writing something down, or both at once.

If any of the new students had yet to encounter him, he could be an off-putting sight. Though his height wasn't evident while seated, his skin was pale and his eyes seemed pre-set with an intense glare. The military-esque uniform also stood at odds with his self-proclaimed pacifism, though the spiral G emblem bore no resemblance to any known army.

Upon each person's entrance, he would greet them and ask their name, no matter how acquainted he was with them, though other than that he remained silent until the turn of the hour.

Who: Pit and anyone.
What: Heartbroken angels mourn dead mothers.
Where: Around campus.
When: Time spanning the 27th of August to the 8th of September.
Warnings: REALLY REALLY SAD STUFF. Death.

CONDENSED VERSION: Nabooru, his adopted mother, had perished in the midst of fighting robots on the 26th. Pit is the opposite of his bright and upbeat self and spends his time alone and too downtrodden to do much of anything, sitting on a bench or a couch or a chair or anywhere looking vacant, maybe crying, wandering aimlessly, or holed up in his room, for example. YOUR OPTIONS ARE NUMEROUS. There's... definitely something wrong, and anyone is definitely capable of crossing his path. The later on in the allotted days, the less likely he is to be teary and mournful- he might even be more resentful than sad and find solace in beating up sandbags instead.

What: Eggman and Seth's evil plans have been revealed, and this is the catch-all fight log.

Perhaps you watched it happen before your very eyes, perhaps word makes it to you via phone, or a friend pulls you over to watch the feed play back. One way or another, you realize a huge drama bomb has been dropped into your laps, Smash Academy:

Eggman's robots are mobilizing.

Seth is some huge, psychotic asshole drug lord hellbent on subverting everyone with clones.

And they're fighting it out on top of a building in FDC and it's being televised.

...Or perhaps you are unfortunate enough to not realize any of that until it's too late, and you have been captured and robotsized by Eggman. Perhaps it's less noticeable and you feel like you bumped your head against something and blacked out just for a second. Weird, but you feel totally fine and nothing seems wrong.

Not yet.

Who: Clear ( kuragekasa ) & anyone else willing to bug him.
What: A discovery is made, and it just might benefit anyone in the area.
Where: Main building; an old, untouched music classroom.
When: August 21st - 25th, please list the day and time in the subject line!
Warnings: Depends on who shows up, but Clear himself doesn't have anything explicit going on. His eccentricities, however, make him a walking warning in itself.
