LOOK. UP IN THE SKY.
Who: All of Smash.
What: Dorm log!
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus.
When: March 13th - April 13th. The whole month.
Warnings: YOU KNOW YOURSELVES
We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!
Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Just add a thread with the room number (and date/time, if it matters) and the characters that reside there (just for reference!). You do not have to use one character's thread as a dual-purpose for both characters if you do not want to. Doesn't have to be a dorm room, either, if you have something else in mind.
This month sees the added addition of the fallen Egg Carrier--the debris still litter the lakeside.
Thank you to Angela for the original text! Here are the school's living arrangements, for reference.

BONUS EVENT TIME!!
March 16th
Are you Irish? No? TOO BAD, you are now. Many of the bars and clubs downtown are having green-flavored festivities. Sure, they're stated to be for those of legal age, but that's never stopped people before, right?
March 23rd - 25th
THE GREAT EXCITEBIKE MIGRATION. Better stay out of the streets or you might get run oveBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBbbbbbBBBbBbBBBBBb
April 1st
OH NO IT'S APRIL FOOL'S. Crazy Hand is out and about, slapping unsuspecting students and faculty with fish stickers. What? If you are unfortunate enough to fall victim to his pranking ways, you might find yourself saddled with a minor curse (hair color change, uncontrollable sneezing, anything you want, really) for as long as the sticker is on your person. The catch--try as you might, you can't remove it. Someone else will have to take it off for you, which might be a tall order if the sticker makes you say everything backwards.

She offered her hand. "In the meantime, I don't think we've been formally introduced. I'm Daisy."
no subject
"Name's Mona!" she took Daisy's hand in her own, shaking it with enthusiasm and a wink of her eyes. "Gotta say, you have some slick skills and moves that have me even impressed! I'd so be down for a raincheck any time!"
no subject
Of course, for Daisy, most sports were in her blood. You couldn't keep her away from competition or challenge.
"So what the heck do you think is going on out there anyway?" Daisy asked, gesturing towards the flock of tiny bikers.
no subject
Mona gaze followed Daisy's gesture back to the biker whizzing wildly by. "Beats me. Perhaps a biker convention?" she shrugged. "I just fell in with the crowd for a good time and decided to ask questions later. Although, not a talkative sort were they?"
Her eyes pulled away from the bodies of tiny racers to her vespa laying off on it's side. The Mona Cycle hadn't been a lucky contender in escaping from the frantic tsunami in one piece. Dents lined the back of the vespa where the collision took a hit, and the front mirror was shattered. Too early to tell either if other damage was sustained internally. A good time at what cost?
"Man...that's gonna cost a pretty penny to fix. My poor baby...." With a cross of her arms Mona frowned, a feeling of anger welling up inside her.
no subject
She sighed. "Maybe someone back at the academy can fix them for us on the cheap?" she suggested hopefully.

She looked out back to the street. "We're stuck in an alley, our bikes are trashed, and without them, it's gonna be kind of hard to get past that stampede."
no subject
Mona started pacing and closed her eyes to ponder the sticky predicament of their trapped status. No animals friends of hers were here in FDC to scrape her out by her teeth this time, so fate to save herself rested on her shoulders. If Daisy and herself couldn't leave the alley through the street, there had to be another escape without risking a chance to play chicken. Can't dig a hole back to the academy unless someone Daisy was a mole in disguise (and if she was, certainly she would have dug her way out by now). The only other possibly way was...
Mona tilted her head upwards and opened her eyes to the view above. It was stupid, pure stupid, but at least it was an idea on the right track.
"Who says we need to get back on the street to escape these suckers?" she pivoted in exclamation and pointed to the walls of the alley. "Get your hiking boots on Daisy, the only way out is up!"
Yes, Mona has suggested they try climbing up the alley walls to escape. She hasn't thought her plan through farther than that I'm afraid. Hey, if it works for super heroes, it should in theory work for them too!

Then, hope struck. A fire escape ladder.
"--Think you can boost me up to the ladder there?" she asked, pointing.
no subject
"No sweat girl, I've got you covered!" she acknowledged, crouching on one knee and presenting her hands cupped together to receive Daisy's foot.
no subject
She gestured for Mona to climb. "After you!"
no subject
"What do you want to do? Try for the rooftop or we barge in on someone and explain it's an emergency concerning life or death?" she shouted over her shoulder, motioning her head to the nearest window.
no subject
no subject
"Like, c'mon you said you were a princess right? We can use it as an excuse to get through. People always let royalty do what they want. And it is kind of an emergency, so..." Without further adieu, Mona slid into the open window head first, followed by the rest of her body. Nonetheless the opening was a tight fit even for her, so Mona got stuck halfway with her legs dangling out.
"Wow, nice place these people have here." her muffled voice came out through the opening and didn't at all sound panicked at the thought of being stuck. Strangely, Mona seemed quite calm about the entire thing.
no subject
She tried pushing first.
no subject
"H-hey!" she yelped. Her thought process on getting herself out of this jam was interrupted by Daisy pushing on her from the outside. Mona flailed her limbs in surprise and struggled to get through the tight space of the window's opening.
no subject
"Sorry!" she declared. "Is that helping?" Daisy asked, giving another push to clear the window.
no subject
"Actually, it worked!" she exclaimed, picking herself up and dusting off her coat. Mona then thrust her hand through the window and motioned Daisy to follow suit. "You coming in or not? Make a decision quick before someone spots you and we get busted" she said with urgency. Mona wasn't up to hanging out in an apartment all day when matters of her bike needed to be settled.

Mona then suddenly stopped pulling and stood still as a brick as a sound reached her ear. Sounded like footsteps? Nah, couldn't be, she was purely imagining things in the heat of the moment. It was probably just her ears homing in on the sounds of her heart beating within her chest.
Yet there is was again. A distinct sound of footsteps scraping from outside the apartment door and the jangle of keys. Coming closer and closer...
"Shoot!" Mona's eyes went wide in fear and locked in with Daisy's own. The resident returning to their home sweet home was not part of Mona's grand plan of escaping.
"Abort mission! We need to hide. FAST!"
no subject
no subject
"And where exactly do you think you're going to hide, hm? Your name might be Daisy, but you'd make a terrible window plant. Worst disguise ever" she chastised. No use in taking off and leaving Daisy to fend for herself against the apartment tenant. The both of them were in this together, and by golly they'd get out of this together. Besides, getting captured alongside a princess sounded as if it hard harsher consequences attached to it. Try to prove Daisy a princess while wearing that motorbike suit however, that was going to be a tough one. Mona was sure she could come up with a nice white lie.
"I'm certainly not going off to hide for myself when you're still stuck here." The woman clambered near the window and began to push Daisy back out from whence she came. "C'mon get your butt back out so I can go too!" she whispered in a rush.
The rooftop was looking like a pretty good Plan B right about now.
no subject
"That could've gone better." Understatement of the year. "Rooftop it is," she added, beginning to climb the ladder again.
"Please tell me that doesn't happen to you a lot."
no subject
"Naaah! Getting stuck in windows hardly ever happens because like, I don't climb through random people's windows on a daily basis. I always use the door since, you know, normal people use a door to enter and exit" she replied. Honestly, it took a moment for Mona to get the gist of what Daisy was asking of her. A stupid question really, cause who goes out of their way to get stuck in windows?
After climbing the ladder for a while in silence Mona decided to speak up her peace of mind. The thought might be slightly off on a tangent, yet Mona wanted to run what she was thinking to her companion.
"You know, this adventure of ours has given me an awesome idea for a future game. I can see it now, you start off in a room and have five seconds to jump out the window before the door opens up on the other end of the room. Oooh yeah!" she chuckled. Mona simply didn't miss a beat when work was involved, no matter if the prospect of getting out of her current situation came foremost.
"Gotta bring this up at the next board meeting for sure. Say, Daisy? Do you like to play video games?"
