Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond campus.
When: March 13th - April 13th. The whole month.
Warnings: YOU KNOW YOURSELVES

We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Just add a thread with the room number (and date/time, if it matters) and the characters that reside there (just for reference!). You do not have to use one character's thread as a dual-purpose for both characters if you do not want to. Doesn't have to be a dorm room, either, if you have something else in mind.

This month sees the added addition of the fallen Egg Carrier--the debris still litter the lakeside.

BONUS EVENT TIME!!

March 16th
Are you Irish? No? TOO BAD, you are now. Many of the bars and clubs downtown are having green-flavored festivities. Sure, they're stated to be for those of legal age, but that's never stopped people before, right?

March 23rd - 25th

April 1st
OH NO IT'S APRIL FOOL'S. Crazy Hand is out and about, slapping unsuspecting students and faculty with fish stickers. What? If you are unfortunate enough to fall victim to his pranking ways, you might find yourself saddled with a minor curse (hair color change, uncontrollable sneezing, anything you want, really) for as long as the sticker is on your person. The catch--try as you might, you can't remove it. Someone else will have to take it off for you, which might be a tall order if the sticker makes you say everything backwards.

She sighed again, rubbing her forehead. "Haven't even been here long, and this place already feels like hell. Okay, so it's probably safe to assume we're not the only ones affected. We know the disembodied hand is slapping stickers on people. So we find the hand, and make him fix this."

Oh, that was her plan. Ha... ha ha... ha ha ha. "If only it were that easy. I think that was Crazy Hand, and we're probably not going to make that happen."

"And why not? Don't tell me you're scared, Foxy," Wave taunted, poking his chest.

[twotailedgenius]

"I'm not scared. I've just been here long enough to know that we're not going to be able to find him, let alone get him to take the stickers off."

[babylonmechanic]

"How hard could it be?" she asked. "Wait for him to find someone else to sticker, and then catch him in the act. Piece of cake."

[twotailedgenius]

"He's a giant hand. You really think we're going to be able to force him to take these stickers off?" He knows Crazy won't, but he's finding it hard to convince Wave this is a bad idea.

[babylonmechanic]

"What else are we supposed to do, huh? Just sit around and suffer for his amusement?" Wave asked, clearly irritated at her helplessness in the face of this prank taken to the extreme. She was used to laughing at other peoples' misfortunes. Not so much at her own.

[twotailedgenius]

He sighed. Maybe just giving it a try would make her realize how fruitless it was. Besides, just sitting here telling her is making her complain at him.

"Alright, alright, we'll go find him. We'll try." He'll just have to endure the inevitable complaining that'll come after their plan fails.

[babylonmechanic]

"It's better than doing nothing," Wave retorted, hand on her chin. "We can just pick someone likely to be a target, and stay near them. I nominate Blue Boy."

[twotailedgenius]

"Sonic?" He thought for a second. Well, if everyone was getting stickered... "Alright, it shouldn't be hard to find him."

[babylonmechanic]

"Where the heck does he hang out in this dump?" Wave asked.

[twotailedgenius]

"You never know. He's always out somewhere. Usually on rooftops." And, of course, Tails could fly, so it wouldn't be too hard to track Sonic down.

"Assuming he doesn't bump into us first."

[babylonmechanic]

"Then we go searching, and hope he bumps into us," she explained, grabbing Tails' hand without asking as she pulled him along.

[twotailedgenius]

"Okay then--ack!" And he's suddenly being pulled along and trying to keep up with her. Why this.

[mach_n_roll]

Meanwhile... up in the sky, it's a bird it's a plane it's Sonic. He's up on the roof, and he hasn't seen the commotion or heard his name dropped below, because he's... occupied, at the moment.

"...You hear somethin'?" He mutters into Blaze's ear when he finally breaks the kiss, shaking out the smoking gloved hand that was around her waist.

"I didn't hear anything," Blaze mumbled back, face flush, jacket half done up in the heat of the moment. It took so much concentration not to start overheating on him, and the smell of his burned glove told her that she needed to focus harder. Which was hard to do in the middle of a steamy makeout session.

"What is it?"

[mach_n_roll]

"Sounded kinda like Tails." He replies, peering over the edge of the roof. That explained his sudden good hearing; getting found by the fox boy would be like being caught by your kid brother, at least in his mind.

"HEY, whaddiya know, it is Tails!" he reports. "...And Wave?" and she's dragging hon somewhere. For a moment he worries, protective impulses kicking in, and then he notices that Tails isn't exactly resisting...

"I wonder what's going on." although he has a dim idea already. "Wanna go see, Blaze?"

With her coat zipped up, Blaze looked over the edge of the roof with him. "Whatever it is, something is definitely wrong," she explained. "Tails only has one tail."

She looked back at Sonic, and nodded. "We should probably check it out. Er... Sorry for the interruption," she added with a sheepish smile.

[mach_n_roll]

He glances down again. She's RIGHT, he only has one Tail! He doesn't seem to be in any kind of trauma, however--other than the apprehension that goes along with being drug around by Wave, that is.

"That's okay." He replies, giving her a shoulder-hug and a smirk. "We can always pick up where we left off later."

With that, he vaults over the barricade and off the roof, sliding off the shingles and swinging off flagpoles to slow his descent, to land near the other two.

"Hey guys! Where's the fire?"

As if to answer his question, Blaze landed next to him, leaping off the roof and following him down, using bursts of flame as well as parkour to gracefully land.

Tails turns to Sonic, and then motions for Wave to stop dragging him along.

"We're looking for answers."

[babylonmechanic]

Wave stopped tugging the fox along as soon as Sonic and Blaze dropped out of the sky. "Well, you were right, he did find us," she sighed.

It took a few more moments to realize she didn't really need to be holding on to his hand any more, and finally pulled her hand back.

"By the way, Blue Boy? You've got something on your face," she commented. Was that lipstick prints on his face and cheeks?

"Huh? Whaddiya talking about?"

He rubs his muzzle and glances at the ruby-red smudge on his glove. Oh. Uh.

"Uh... That's, uh..." Sonic actually starts to redden a little. "We just, I was... That's not important right now." He waves it down, not even bothering to wipe the rest off for the moment.

"This wouldn't happen to have anything to do with that, would it?" He points to Tails' singular swishing tail behind him. "I think you lost something there, buddy."
