[Open] No, I'm serious, this really isn't Paris you guys.
Who: Elizabeth and Yooouuuu.
What: Falling out of the sky. Getting culture shocked. That sort of thing.
When: Sure why not the 21st. Can easily extend into the next few days, too :>
Where: School all over.
Warnings: N….o…
Earlier in the day, if you were paying attention you might have seen something drop out of the low cruising clouds. Did you? Maybe. Probably not. Was that a scream in the distance? No? Yeah, no.
(Except the answers were actually yes. Oops.)
Later though, one might notice a young lady that was not previously on campus before. If she was lost she was certainly not showing any signs of being bothered by it, running around and marvelling at…
… Everything. She was marvelling at everything. Even that leaf. Even that tree branch. Look at that lake. Look at that building. Look at that sky.
Look at you. Definitely you.
"Hello!"

EARLY IN THE DAY FOR ONE SUNSHINE MORTIMER
What surprised her was when she yelled for Booker, forgetting that the man wasn't there.
What surprised her almost as much was realizing that she was falling backwards this time. Flipping herself over to see the ground rush up to meet her probably wasn't the best of ideas, but maybe doing so would give her a chance for another plan.
Maybe there would just be something terribly convenient about where she was falling.

That same pristine blue sky that was causing Elizabeth no small amount of discontent currently had been all the indication in the world that Sonny Moe needed that it was now time to take a nap in the sunshine.
He'd been there about two hours already, his breath drawing in and out loudly as the world moved on around him. First years, unfamiliar with the slumbering Snorlax took detours on the way to classes to take a look. People who knew him but hadn't seen him in a while may have noticed the familiar roundness spread out on the grass in behind the classroom buildings. Birds landed on him, squirrels used him for shade in-between runs to and from their favorite trees.
He lay there immobile throughout - it takes a lot to wake a slumbering Snorlax, after all.

Except no she didn't what was thaaaaaaat. "WhooaaaAAA--!!"
The nice thing about this second tear was that it had not set her terribly high into the sky. High enough to be seen from a bit aways, and high enough that a collision with the ground would have hurt quite badly. In the world of potential wish fulfilment, big, soft bellies were much more ideal. Maybe.
Elizabeth landed tummy down on the soft pokemon, and all of his tiny woodland creature friends scattered. She had approximately .3 seconds to reflect on how warm and surprisingly-what was the word for it? Elastic?- it was before she bounced back up into the air. "A-AH... No no...!"
The second bounce launched her face first into the grass next to the Snorlax.

Sonny gave a loud snort, his eyes opening as he registered the Thump-Bwoing of her not only landing on him, but bouncing off. He turned his head to see who it was.
"Laaaaax?"
Someone he didn't know at all. He really didn't mind people using his belly as a trampoline though he was sure that the proper etiquette required one ask first.

So to come across someone also taking everything in was quite a sight.

Elizabeth knew what a vending machine was, and their function of providing convenient products to passerby. However, they were also pretty obnoxious and had animatronic sales vendors dancing on top spouting things about Valuuuueee!, so she was not entirely sure what this strange, glowing box with buttons was supposed to actually be. She was looking at it intently from the front, tapping a finger against her chin before she moved a few steps to peer at it from the side.

"So it is a vending unit...! It's very quiet for one."
It was also the beverage sort that was just very unclear about what its contents really were. Elizabeth inspected the front again, noting what might have been the coin slot.
The coin she produced from her person, however, was too large to fit. "...Oh. Huh."

Look at that tree. Look at that girl with the BIG GLASSES, reading an equally BIG BOOK under said tree. Look at how she's staring at you, blinking.
"Haven't seen you around before. Are you a new student?"
no subject
Greetings out of the way, Elizabeth nosily crouched down to perhaps catch a glimpse of what the other girl was reading. Answers first, Elizabeth.
"Oh, no. At least I'm not yet, I'm still wondering if I can even enroll... Do you attend the lectures here?"
no subject
"Science and engineering, mostly. I'm an inventor and roboticist, and this place offers a treasure-trove of robotics technology that no other place can match!"
no subject
"NO," yelled Bret from the meta universe, "IT IS TOO SOON TO FALL ON MY ASS ON ACCOUNT OF SCIENCE."But no it was never too soon it was time right now.
The title of the book got her raising her brows, but the words were what actually got Elizabeth's attention. Well, that was something! Meeting an actual inventor was incredibly exciting, even if she did not entirely follow what was being said.
"That's fascinating! Are you perhaps looking into exploring the aspects of time through your work?" She asked, nodding slightly to the book. "With your... robo..tics...?" Funny, it was if she had never heard that word before in her life.
(She hadn't.)

How odd.
Under one of the trees, a Garry would be trying to snipe draw some Minccino that were resting after happily playing and trying to clean each other with their tails. It was unspeakably adorable. Thankfully he was catching them well onto his book.
Now what were you doing, Elizabeth?

On the opposite side of Garry and the fuzzy whatzits, Elizabeth crept forward a little bit. A tiny bit more. Closer.....
One of them popped their head up, twitching its large ears as she froze in place with her hands balled up under cheeks. Oh goodness. Oh my.
no subject
It's a lady. Lady you.
Oh. Miss Lady.
The Minccino don't run, they hop around though. They're playful if not bold. This just meant there was a new friend to play with them. Some tried to clean Elizabeth's shoes. Awww, it's cute. But he can't snipe draw them anymore. Sigh. Didn't seem like it was on purpose though.
"Oh goodness, hello!"
no subject
It definitely hadn't been on purpose, and she definitely hadn't anticipated them flocking over to explore her boots and skirt. Oh goodness what was happening oh no stop that, something-or-others. Elizabeth laughed, and there were multiple false starts at petting them, but the girl pulled her hands back each time with the slightest hesitance.
But hello Garry.
"Hello!" She greeted the stranger she had not entirely realized was there, squeaking as a Minccino ran around behind her.

Oh. A girl. A kind of cute girl. Hm.
"Yo." But honestly he still didn't know anyone here so what the heck would a cute girl want with him. "What can I do for ya?"
no subject
On one hand, the cute girl was interested in what the fellow in the cap was up to. On the other hand she was really intrigued by his hair because WOW GUY. Your hair. Your hair was fantastic and completely crazy wow.
"Nothing for me, really, I was just wondering what you were up to...!"
AND YOUR HAIR.

"Me? Nothing that interesting. Planting, I guess. Someone's gotta keep this place lookin' pretty."
That someone was not him.
no subject
"Oh, no, I think planting sounds fascinating," Elizabeth replied somewhat eagerly. "Did you plant the flowers here? They're lovely."
What she didn't know couldn't hurt her.

It had never occurred to her that someone else could have eyes that reminded her of Songbird's. Elizabeth wasn't sure if the revelation made her uncomfortable.
Whatever feeling it was, it didn't stop her from bending down a bit to look at what he was doing. "What are you drawing?"

"Uh, 'sup."
Her clothes were a little odd and he swore he never saw her before. She must have been new.
This'll be fun.
"Name's Scout! What's yours?"
no subject
Surprisingly enough, his clothes were the most normal ones she had encountered so far. Some sort of baseball player, perhaps. She had read about those! She sensed nothing.
"Scout," she repeated with a bright smile. "My name's Elizabeth. It's nice to meet you."
